Finished it. Loved it. It had its flaws, nonetheless, amazing! I am a habitual ff-er but didn't ff a single scene of it. It was not boring for a moment, neither draggy. Enjoyed every moment of it. I had an unresolved question, why jin mook cut yoo yeon's finger tips? He did cut those, right? Or did i misunderstand?

It was a two part story. First was uncovering the serial killer, which i wish they had explored a little further, and the second was dealing with the big baddies who sit at the top tier of the society and politics and manipulate the world to their will. I enjoyed both parts, even though i usually hate this trope of higher ups of pecking order bullying lower downs to death. I liked this one though because they did it differently. They showed even though the big dudes and dudettes are powerful, they still can be vulnerable. And there's not always unity among thieves and bandits like these which we always see in other such trope dramas. If you manage to find the chink in the armor and keep worrying it, it may give in. I loved how the small community of these friends and wellwishers of one other in this small town, in spite of their differences and doubts, stuck by one another and were ready to sacrifice themselves for the friends till the end. That working together paid off. I loved how no one person in this show was one dimensional, and all were capable of being the perp. They all were a bit crazy in some ways because that's how humans are.

I felt the laughs were a little affected. Not because the actors were doing it so but the characters were made to insert these creepy smiles or laughs in almost every scene where something suspenseful was laid before, just for putting an extra effect on the scene or the probable craziness of the character, which i think was the only non-subtle thing in the whole show.

But loved it anyway as i said. I was satisfied in the end. Not happy because it was not meant for that way. It was an apt ending. I was satisfied and at the same time extremely hungover from the sadness of the family -- a happy, well doing, church going family -- with two piano and guitar playing beautiful kids and a pretty decently big house that was ruined overnight. The girl went to meet her bf, witnessed a psychos deeds and got captured and locked, mouth taped and hands tied, in his car beside a deadbody (from what i understood) and then luckily let go by him only to get hit by a car and then again her dead body run over by her bf's car, psycho stole her corpse and cut off her finger tips to arrange them decoratively on her yard for her fam to see, then finally her body walled by the psycho in her own house's basement where she remained for 21 years like that. The brother got suspected for her and another girl's murder and got locked up so no one sympathized with her family as a victim's instead everyone remembered the brother as the suspect, no care that he was acquitted of the crime, for life and some threw salt on him to ward of the evil that he was supposed to be which surely made him how he was with the constant bottled up pain. The father froze to death waiting for the dead daughter, the mother ended up in the hospital. A happy family today became a ominous mention the next. I thought about it seriously after watching it and the possibility of something like it in the real life gave me the chills.

All the actors were brilliant. After a long time i was satisficed with the character Jin goo played. I love him, he's my baby. but his last few shows weren't bringing out his potential which this one did. I went back to my memories of the child who made me cry each time with him. ♥ No need to mention the talent that is Shin Ha kyun because everyone knows it. This was my first time watching him and it felt like he has been doing this role in all his dramas throughout his career.


This one left a hole in my heart which i then filled by watching Sweet home which again left another whole in my heart.

I am a fan since Go ho's starry night when i first saw him and waiting for his debut as a lead. He is a good looking very good acting dude. His eyes eyes always give me all the feels in the world.

Whoa! Really interesting facts! Thanks!☺ From then to now is a huge change forward especially with kpop fashion and hairstyle. Honestly when i first started watching kdramas i thought all the men and women there had to keep the same bangs, which look awesome btw on them, not from mandate or some law but just for that's the way their style is. Curse my ignorance. Though i am still unaware of the history of korea in the depth you explained here, i am a lot educated in a lot of things korea now. And somehow this feels like a familiar language to my ear.

Lee Ji Hoon really shouldn't go looking this hot in sl roles. I hope he gets many lead roles after this. Honestly it's a bit too long me waiting for it to happen. Amazing actor he is!

OH MAI GAD! THIS DRAMA, I SWEAR! It's titled like a cute drama, started like a monster chaser, continued like an emotional roller coaster, and ended like i am dead with so much emotion and bawling my eyes out. What an amazing experience! I never wished to watch this before really craving to watch some more of Do Hyun after Beyond evil and 18 again. It's not my league of watch, monsters and all. So glad that I did decide to watch after all. Now i'll try kingdom and Alice in borderland too. I am totally caught in the groove of it. Beautiful message in the whole drama. But really, no matter how many monster dramas i watch in my life, they always consolidate my belief in what that dude said here that humans are the biggest monstass. Amen to that, chewing gum loving douche dude! And also, once a misunderstood bullied outcast , always a misunderstood bullied outcast -- in life, death and immortality. Poor Hyun Soo. Poor Eun Hyuk too, though i realized it late.

OMG! How am gonna wait for almost two months for it to start and end!

Rui Peng is such a gorgeous mixture of Enrique Gill and someone so very very controversial from Hollywood.

The trailer showed up on my yt page today. Guess they know how i have turned a 150 year old silver witch waiting for this drama and to see Tae Joon as an ML. And to reward my time and patience they even got him the amazing Choi Soo Young as FL. I mean, I can't... just... so emoT-T. Thanks peeps! My loves! Hope you make it an amazing show!♥

Joo Won is seriously getting on my nerves. I get why he's suspecting everyone and in any other drama they all could've totally been partners in crime like a little town of psychos and because i am seeing from a wider perspective i can understand that they are good peeps but since joo won doesn't have our perspective he's incapable of making a straight judgment. I understand all these but i am still hating him with a vengeance at this point. Oh I so Effing LOVE Jingoo! And also why is he looking so hot here? Ridiculous!

Same. I mean, after stranger and life, not this at least. Like, wtf!

This dude with a beautiful smile was fixing people's souls last years and here his smile's giving me the heebies and the jeebies. So good!

Review or whatever:
It was so disappointing that i dropped it at episode 12. Was really looking forward to it for the time travel element and Jo seung Woo. Firstly, the story seemed to have the potential of being intriguing which somehow it wasn't for me. There were a lot of events that delayed the rush of it. I thinks its the arrangement of the events that was not done as interestingly as the story was to make me invested in it. I wish they didn't have the love story, it took away from the thrill of the mystery and its unravelling. Every time there was a sappy romantic something happening, i ffed and misses out some plot part probly. But i was too indifferent by then to care.

ML-- I think this character didn't need an actor of JSW's caliber. Any other decent actor who's not as experienced and talented as he is could've done it, not as good as him maybe but then again it didn't need that good. A self-made, rich, smart, a little callous to stuff, pretending to be flirty, tortured and guilty inside hero dude saved by the realization that he can manage life without being a total @$$ from the love or bamboozling of a heroine from the future. Hmm... where have i seen a million variations of this type minus the girl saving the boy (which was awesome btw and the best part of the show) and the future part? JSW could've sleepwalked through this character, but since dude's a sincere pro, he didn't. But still he probably needed only 20% of his mojo to play the role and still it was this fine. I see waste of talent and experience, but he probably wanted to chill this time and thus took this easy relaxing performance that needed his energy just for the stunts. So i respect his decision because even the most talented actors need to have their chill roles i guess. It reminded me of his earlier adorable cute-smile loverboy roles. He was so cute in them. He may have wanted to relive them despite the plot, idk, whatever. Love to him♥ I'll rewatch stranger.

FL -- I never liked PSY's acting until Alhambra. And then she totally impressed me in Alhambra and all my disappointment on knowing she is with my favorite Binnie in his project after his long long break dissipated and i was happy and Alhambra became one of my favorite dramas. So this time i was not as disappointed as i was at the time of Alhambra upon finding out that she is in this drama. And she didn't disappointed me here. I liked her. And her character was the only thing that i liked and that had me going till episode 12. I am also impressed to see her selection of the roles these days. Even when the drama wholly is falling apart for me, her character sticks. I mean just because she's PSY and has always done romance in dramas, should she keep on getting characters that must have a romance no matter how unnecessary and disruptive to the story it is? Here she was kicking @$$es, flipping faces , taking names and being awesome and then bam she is in deep time-transcending love with dude she met 2 minutes ago. If they were so life threateningly eager on a loveship they could've shown a friendship with a forecast of romance that won't be shown in the show but imagined and edited into YT music videos by shippers because some things are best enjoyed when not shown explicitly. There have been so many ships like these floating around in the dramas with stories which are not hellbent on inserting a romance in a mystery or thriller, etc. (I am watching beyond evil and i have watched strangers)
