I'm totally a biased fan of Kim Jae Wook. So for me, it was something for which I've been waiting for a long time.…
I feel you! I am not finished yet. But from the comments I gathered that it slows down after episode 10. But for me, even if it were totally plotless and just be showing like Dok Mi and Ryan's daily chores together, I would watch it with all my spirit. I have waited for KJW's lead and whined about it in every forum possible since Coffee Prince. So it is surely a treat for me. In any case, this year, so far, has been filled with romantic drama flops, with boring plots, writing and chemistry. At least here the acting and "chemi" is good.
PMY has good chemistry with all her co-stars but I always thought healer was her best. And now this got added to the list.
Tbh, since this is my first time watching KJW in a romantic drama, I didn't know how he would be with the chemistry. No doubt he's a great actor but I have seen good actors bad at romancing on screen. And I believe just kissing doesn't work. Even when you are slobbering into each other but your body language and expression are like someone making you do it at the gun point, the outcome would be the same, a.k.a. it-sucks! So, when I saw their first real kiss I was so happy. Like, yaaas! boo you are good at everything. The body language, ease of reaction, expression, everything is so natural and effortless. The nature of their chemistry and relationship here is mature. At episode 10. Let see where it goes!
I just watched the clips on yt and it looks really interesting. I'll wait for it to end though. Can anyone tell me if it's somewhat like Black. The childhood flashbacks are giving me that kinda vibe.
After watching KMJ here, I am gonna watch man to man now. I let the negative comments about her dissuade me before, in spite of Park Hae Jin. KMJ is beautiful and an amazing actress. I wanted to watch this show just for Le Yoo Young, but KMJ is clearly dominating it. My first time watching her and love her.
"But I hear the whole show was rushed due to the urgency of finishing it before historical drama ban in China.…
Sorry, my comment was not complete. I meant, a ban on the historical Dramas for that particular time slot. At least that's what I read. Is it not correct news?
The last episode seemed spliced like wtf! The ending was even more wtf! I mean did you really have to write that juvenility into an already messily edited drama! What's with the look-alike children! Seriously! But still, I liked it (not that weird children part) and wish to re-watch it. The two main leads are too fabulous for a one-time-watch.
I always thought that C-dramas are unnecessarily long and need editing but not like this. This too could have been shorter without cutting out important scenes or making it so jumbly. But I hear the whole show was rushed due to the urgency of finishing it before historical drama ban in China. What can you say! I think, it's a waste of resources and also pain in the behind for Drama-lovers. However, we surely learn from this drama (and many others) that loving someone/thing means enduring pain for them/it. eh!
I read that there are different versions from previous comments... maybe you can try viki, but they don't have…
Yaaas! the bts videos on YT are life! I keep watching them. Their chemistry is so lit (literally on fire). And I love Bai Lu's laugh. So natural!
If it were not for the amazing leads and their perfect acting and chemistry and their love story and Dai Xu (that's a lot of ands), I would have exited this crap of an editing-work a long time ago. It's giving me whiplash.

Thanks a ton to the channel for explaining the last two episodes so lucidly.

Min Young never disappoints!
