Such a pleasant-feeling drama. Beautiful ost, beautiful location (I wanna live there), beautiful and talented actors, the whole cast is amazing. What more do you need. I laughed a lot. but in the midst of all the hilarity there were bytes of sadness and pain that lay beneath U baek's life and his attitude. That part, though came in short bursts and not many, made me feel for the character. So, job well done!
This would probably be the only show where I loved each and every character. Everyone did their parts so convincingly. I liked JSM in 1%, but this role really unveiled her acting chops to the best level.
I think there are so many underrated actor/actresses in kdramaland, Kim Ji Suk is undoubtedly one of them. Loved him since Personal Taste, the first time isaw him. He brings ease to his characters and variety in his performances. And off course, good looks is the cherry.
Lee Sang Yeob, though sometimes tends to go a lil overboard with his acting, is quite a good actor. And soooo handsome. I fell in love with him through his character in The innocent MAn, where he stood silently beside MCY's character throughout, with the multitudinous pain of one-sided love, in spite of all the cruelty he was put through by her. He expressed everything with his eyes. Geez... flashback goosebumps.
I loved almost every moment of the show. Said almost, since the parts where Kang Soon was dodging U Baek and hurting him time and again in the process flipped me a little, even though I understood her situation of being grateful and all, and also I wanted U Baek to pause chasing her for a while. I will most definitely re-watch. Just wish the subs were a wee bit better (no offense, plenty thanks). At some point in the show I started to not read the subs at all, unawares. just tried to guess what they were saying. It worked!
Ahh... Finally! It wrapped up. I can start now. I was seriously getting convinced that they would conjure up something to air in place of this just for the sake of delaying and I will be left dangling for a month or two.
Halmeoni gave me the most pleasant shock of my life! I always thought Soo Jung sshi had an international slickness to her, but the MJ dance moves were beyond.
omg! wtf is yoo baek reading! the art of not giving a f**k! lol!
No one seems bothered by the fact that lee hyuk 'loved' min yu ra sooo much that he married sunny to protect her…
You are not the only one. I too can't swallow a dirtbag's whim of raising himself atop past shit. He needs no more than a mood swing to go back. I'll be really disappointed if their getting back together is real and not a plan of sunny.
i was hoping for her happy ending with shi lang :(((
ikr! they looked so cute together. but then the writer had to just ruin it with the stupid one-sided dream-crush thingy of the girl before totally offing her..grrr
yup, ml's sister dies. She was cute as a button. So, her death hurt. The main couple was fine. At least, no bodily harm. But they separated, I think. I skipped a lot in the last few episodes. Got bored.
Totally see the Janice Wu resemblance and thought she also favored Li Qin a bit.
Ya, ya right, I totally missed that. In the first scene, her side profile, where she had her hair down and big hoops on. But Li Qin is way prettier (no offence to CC).
Am loving Shi Lang so much! FL looks like Janice Wu with the hair updo and especially when she smiles. Ml looks like Darren #### in the MDL photo but not in the show. I like him better though. Quite liking it so far.
Just one thing, why's the fl acting like an eleven-year-old! Is that supposed to be cute!
Most of the yt comments on their smoochy-woochy videos are either expressing how much adorable they look or of asking them to be a couple irl. MUAHAHAHAHA!
