I binged till episode 5 midway and stopped worried that Sarah will be put in jail because the people she used in her plan are all rich and powerful and this is not that type of drama, it seems, that'll let the protagonist win in any case or way just because they're the protagonist. And at the end of the day those lonesharks won't have a single hair on their head harmed, same with the lady of that big place where they won't allow their employees pee break.
People like these won't lose anything. Even Sarah on her status climb was kinda exploiting those who are like her former self, hegemonically weak.
I really like this show even when everything happening is not 100% pleasing me. But will take a pause here to prepare myself for something undramatic and unsatisfactory as the ending.
I like how Sarah's journey has not been smooth as knife on butter even tho i prefer that in many cases. This show doesn't completely shirk consequences of her actions. She does go through pain and hardships to get to her dream. I won't say the success lasts that long even. I'd have been happy if her undertaking could at least make a substantially noticeable dent in those ahole people's rep for life even if she had to go to jail.
This story feels more about Sarah's fight to reach her dream than a fashionable demo of how stylishly she pulled an elaborate con while wearing sunglasses, chewing gum, looking cool. It's rough and pain ridden, literally.
She genuinely believes that what she's doing is not illegal. If the big brands do it why can't she is her logic. Her character has desperation, dream and i dare say a bullish Innocence in it.
Anyway my thoughts are all unorganized here. Just dumped what i felt so far.
The first trailer looked more interesting than this final one. Don't know why. But i surely can't wait to see mix as Boston 2.0. Hope he'll be that diabolical.
I love Dew too, try Faceless Love he is so good there and of course F4 Thailand: Boys over Flowers
Yes faceless love is the remake of the Japanese drama rich man poor woman. I'll check that out. F4 i won't bc he's not the lead in it and I've already watched all the other remakes of boys over flowers. leap day is on my to watch list too.
This is my first time watching Dew and mai josh is he so damn pretty😍 especially when he smiles. I'll try watching that rich man, poor woman remake starring him just to watch his face longer. Has anyone here seen it? Does he smile a lot in that like in this one?
I m just on episode 3 and wondering is this show inspired by true events or at least real life personalities? Ko is uncannily like a certain sam shwaltsman wrapper.
Dai Xu is sooooo hot 🔥 has been since legends. Tbc, not shipping him with xiu xiu here. Just saying he's hot and talented and wish he got solo leads in romance dramas.
The fact that my dude is doing a romcom after 85 years is enough for me to start and finish the show. The last time it happened was Devilish Joy and the story was on crack. Loved every second of the couple in that. Watched it 7 times just for them skipping everything else without them.
I was strangely focused on his teeth though when he smiled - they look like dentures. They're probably veneers…
Lol! He didn’t smile yet i think... or did i not notice 🤔 but i get you. Im like that too. Like rn i am so distracted by kjy's helix piercing. Did he have that before?!
