No, it was never explained that enigmas can immobilize alphas in the show. I don't know if that is like that in…
In the last season Way touched Babe and he couldn't move. That's prolly Way's power and like alphas enigmas also prolly have different powers but they are stronger than alphas.
While Willy is rampaging through the xhunters with his special alpha power, an enigma is right there just running a lab, looking at Chris googoo eyes and f*king him 5/3 of the nc scenes, and doing nothing. Just curious. Can he do something with his enigma power? Can't enigmas like literally immobilize alphas?
1. This is an action lakorn first. The romance just happens like it does in action lakorns with a chance romance plot where not the whole story is and each plot are created just to develop the romance regardless the implausible, awkward pivots and inserts
2. The characters are all believable. They are not all great actors, but the acting is raw and convincing.
3. The action is also not like totally polishedly choreographed which works here.
4. You can trust Thai shows to introduce dark and sensitive topics to then confidently manhandle them. This show doesn't do that. Almost. They could've avoided Mei's ex-bf's jail-r*p* scene presented as funny.
5. The whole theme about the kid whose dad got murdered in a gang war and then he got falsely indicted for his best friend's (lover maybe?) murder and sent to prison for 5 years and then after release gathered his old boxing pals to build an amateur avengers team to find his father's murderer and avenge his death but ended up getting beaten up and defeated at every step till the end when the powerful peeps decided to retreat and replan and regroup is how it should've been if events like these happened irl. They avoided the trope of a wronged hero comes out of prison after several years as either an undefeatable Thor or a superintelligent AI (i like those stories too).
6. I do wish they ended with everyone getting their comeuppance, but they decided to stay closer to realistic which I respect.
7. I didn't have to suspend my disbelief during this show.
8. Really really really wish Aim, the btartd was tortured and killed.
I am gonna start watching knockout which seems to have the same vibe type from the description. Hope it is like this, even if a lil bit.
In the script Nan Heng is a villainous ml and has every reason to be hated. But now what we are seeing here he…
Ya. I think the script is becoming more 3 dimensional. The bad guy u thought is not really bad, and the good guy has the potential to be bad. And since Yiming sees everyone as script characters, she doesn't have romantic feelings for anyone yet. She just wants to end the story and get out of it. I think. Like the characters so far, except the emperor. Everyone has a valid reason behind their actions.
In the script Nan Heng is a villainous ml and has every reason to be hated. But now what we are seeing here he doesn't seem one-dimensionally villainous. I mean he's not fault-free as he's trying to kill Yimeng, regardless of his reasons. But outside that he seems genuinely misunderstood and bullied by his father bc he's scared that he can't control NH. And these reasons are not like the usual tropes like ahole red flag ml with 100 fatal flaws, but the writers try to explain away everything with lame tortured bg stories. So is this a difference caused by Yimeng's entering into the story or it was always there and she missed it in the script bc she speedread and skipped parts?
And I love how mc is still not in love with each other. Not all the rubbish he bullies and tortures the life outta fl but actually secretly loves her.
Tam: Do it now.
