Well, it's done and was pretty good! It was not without its flaws and inconsistencies but it was entertaining and enjoyable for me. They could've done without killing the kid though.
My favorite throughout was the OTP's chemistry and relationship (wishing for another YY-Lusi drama soon). I was waiting for a long time for Lusi to get a strong role, which was not Killing of 3000 crows. But this was almost it. It was a bit inconsistent in terms of what they were telling about her abilities and what they were showing but I'll let it go. This will be one of my favorite Lusi characters to date. YY was so good too. All the actors were actually really good. I enjoyed a cdrama after a long time.
Poor my Feng Xu Yan/Bai Feng Xi! First her family got a total 20 mins of screen-time coz not as interesting and toxic as Lanxi's fam, then got offed completely.
