Sounds like a wonderful journey into dramas. Mine is much simpler. They recommended by a friend lol.
Did you not enjoy My Girl? From what I hear you either love it or hate, but I've considered watching it a few times.
Haha, what is it about Full House? I was told it great which led me to watch it.
My first watch of Coffee Prince was not too great. I actually disliked, but i re watched months later and enjoyed much more enjoyable. But thanks is owed to it for bringing you back :)

From my experiences, there are always some issues between sisters. It almost seems impossible to be living with someone for such a long period of time without arguing at some point. I too have some problems with my sisters from time to time, but we enjoys each others company as well :)
Haha, don't give up hope, she may come around one day and grow to love them just as much as we do!

There are a lot of promising dramas currently airing, and still much more to premier very soon. There's just not enough time for all of them LOL.
Oh no, whats happening me to your internet?

I think you're right about Jdramas. My first Korean drama was Boys Over Flowers followed by Full House, so you you can understand when I tell you it took over a year before I started my next drama, Secret Garden, which began my interest in exploring other kdramas. That being said, I think its the same situation with jdramas.
I'll add your recommendations to my list, and will begin with one of them, though I really need to develop the mood for a jdrama, which is just not here right now.
I understand, I too am protective of kdramas, though it was not love at first...watch. My cure for a drama slump is just rewatching one that I loved, it always works :).
No need to apologize about the length, I too can be very verbose myself. Actually, thats the norm for me LOL.
So how did you discover j/kdramas?

Thank you :D I'm glad the review has been helpful.
I have no memory of my reviews for Dream High or Protect the Boss, but I clearly remember my feelings towards both dramas.
After skimming trough my reviews, I'm actually embarrassed about a few of the earlier ones LOl. They have definitely improved with time.
That was my problem with Protect the Boss. I enjoyed the humor and that was what increased my score, but the story was just not captivating enough to keep us interested, which a drama really can't afford to do that.
Yes, Bladey is one the more trusted sources here on MDL :)

Rita is a beautiful name :D
I too am able to review works I disliked better than those that are dear to me. It always feels like there are no accurate words to describe how you feel towards them, just as I did with my review for JJW. Judging from your profile, I assume said contact is Bladey (she is a great user on MDL!). I actually found your page through her profile lol. She was the one to recommend JJW to me to. I would definitely encourage you to give it a try once you recover from K2H. It is a drama like no other I have seen; very mature and engaging.
I would hold off on Bridal Mask if your viewing experience may be hindered from K2H. It is wonderful drama that I've grown to adore.
I just haven't been able to get into Jdramas. I'm almost positive its due to my choice in previous dramas, as I have hated all the ones I tried but I'm always hesitant to begin those I have heard are good

It came at a good opportunity too, because I was about to give up. But now its nice to have someone to chat to face to face about them lol.
You can usually tell by a person's personality if dramas are for them. if it is, then she should give it a try first before rejecting them.
Are you still enjoying the company of your friend?

Haha. That's long for me too, but I have done it and came out alive, so can you. LOL. 2 weeks will fly by, especially since you'll be preoccupied.
People find it awkward watching foreign shows that you basically have to read, so it discourages them from giving it a try. Little do they know what they're missing. My sister was only convinced through a bet. She used to tease me about my drama addiction to an annoying extent, so after loosing a bet, she was forced to watch a drama of my choice. Mwahahaha *evil face*
She finally realized they're not all that bad lol

We seem to have similar taste in dramas, especially kdramas :) I absolutely loved your review for K2H. Couldn't have said it better if I tried
Nice to meet you!

How devastating! It's really to bad, I have managed to convert my sister into a drama watcher (wouldn't really say fan just yet) but whenever I tried with a friend, it always fails. As drama fans, we have an obligation to spreading this awesomeness to as many people as possible, but its very upsetting when people just dont see it, lol.
2 weeks is not too long and I think a break from dramas every now and then can beneficial.
Im very pleased with the progress thus far, though i'm worried that the story will suffer from the 4 episode extension. Im glad your enjoying it too :D

I suppose the summer time has something to do with people being away, as many people go on vacations or just enjoy the weather.
Thats nice that you'll have your friend with you. Is s/he a drama fan as well?
You seem to be watching a lot of dramas atm, how are they faring? What do you think of Bridal Mask. You can tell my feeling just by my avatar LOL

I notice a lot of changes to your profile and your list is growing very fast. You already have over 100 completed dramas...I feel like a drama amateur now.
I also love your avatar. I did watch K2H while I was away and absolutely adored this couple and the drama itself, It has made my top 5 as well!! It was a beautiful, well rounded drama. *Sniffle* I miss it...
Im thankful that you have kept in touch, I'll send you a PM explaining my hiatus later.
Chat with you soon!

Hi there Bladey!! It's been too long! Im very sorry for the late reply I know I was away for a while, but I truly appreciate you checking in and posting now and then.
Regarding you trip to the US: I'm sorry your panel wasnt what you planned, but it was your first presentation, so don'et get too discouraged. Your bus ride sounds like it was a great adventure. THere really is something special about exploring an unfamiliar city, I still have many places within NYC I would like to roam and discover (It's a huge city).
As for Thank You, I did watch it early this year, but the story wasnt able to grab my attention. I didn't really enjoy it much and skimmed through much of the latter episodes. But it did question many kdrama cliches, while maintaining others.
SO how have you been these past couple months? What have you been upto? I see your keeping busy, I wish luck with your projects.

Hi Bladey! I'm glad to hear your trip to the US was good. Yea,the US is a large country and it usually does take a while to travel with in and between states.
How did you like Chicago and Rochester, I've never been to either cities, but I hear Chicago is nice.
How was the conference and your presentation? Did you have a large audience, meet any interesting people? I'd like to hear more about it.
So, how have you been? Any interesting dramas in your life? I noticed some changes to profile.
Are you back to watching dramas again?
