the way people are moving about this show is a bit odd. compare the ratings for 'dropped' and 'completed' with other ongoing shows with far less overall rating and you'll see what i am talking about. is this bitterness really because of the changed casting? insane because BJT is giving everything the role requires him to.

sang yan is giving a real yearner the likes of which we haven't seen since ryu sunjae. this is about to completely take over my life.

deleted the previous comment because of spelling error. my problem with the writing is exactly the character development. i feel like seunghyo's immaturity in the earlier episodes and his tendency to revolve the problems around himself weren't really given a steady development in the later episodes. similarly, there was a lack of female pov in the show and we never really saw the depth of seokryu's feelings before they started dated unlike seunghyo's. plus the fact they never really communicated well unless there was a hospital/death scare at the very last moment. but i am glad it worked for you :)

god i was so prepared to hate this show because his grown ass meeting teenage sang zhi and the brother sister dynamic between them really icked me out but in the later episodes, their chemistry was so beautifully natural and the leads so effortlessly charismatic i couldn't help but give in and be captivated by them after convincing myself to just watch this as fiction. guilty pleasure show for me😭
