Today's episode is titled "败降" (bài jiàng), the username Sang Yan uses in the game he plays, which also means "defeat" or lost/defeated (since there's no past tense in Chinese language). I love how witty it is, and how they came up with today's post-episode title. "Bài jiàng doen't mean I'm a loser, but that I only lost to you" says so much about how despite being hurt in the past, he's still willing to love Yi Fan continuously. It has became one of my favorite titles so far!
People can describe events as they see them exactly how they like. I said “tiresome.” Tiresome, immature,…
Oh, you have a point. I just initially thought it was somehow exaggerated to use those words to describe what happened in the latest episode. I didn't mean to invalidate their feelings or thoughts. I apologize if what I said sound offensive to others. Thank you for pointing this out.
People need to stop describing what happened in EP9 as "stupid," "tiresome," etc. just because of a minor misunderstanding. I thought it was quite easy to understand where she is coming from. I also got a bit frustrated that she easily assumed the little boy was his son, but he did not deny it when she saw him (without him knowing) so its quite inevitable to think like that. Also, she already had feelings for him - so, if she asked him that time, what if he said the patient was his child? She would be heartbroken so avoiding him at first might be her way to prepare for the truth (if she plans to confront him soon). Also, she was already cautious due to her broke-up with her ex and that could've also made her become an "overthinker," so avoidance is better than sinking deeper into an unsure relationship.
Minor misunderstandings are normal in real life, and the misunderstanding here did not even last long and wasn't even stretched out. It got resolved early, it only took almost a day in the drama and 37 mins for us viewers, so I don't think people should be worried about it. ^^
Zhu Yi's novels really are the cherries on top. Hidden Love, When I Fly Towards You, and The First Frost. She made the most out of these masterpieces, I can't put everything into words how I am living for the stories she made and how encountering these sweet, healing dramas cheers me up everytime. Please keep on writing, Ms. Zhu! ♡
👧 ZKJ: Should I edit the photos before sending them to everyone? 👦 SY: No need! My girlfriend wants them. The most autentic photos will do!
AAAAA Sang Yan acknowledgeding Yi Fan as his girlfriend (even though they aren't official yet) is top tier! 🥹 It was a reassurance WYF needed, it would be great if she will find out about this sooner.
Zhu Yi's novels are really on top! We first fell in love with SZ and DJX's story in Hidden Love, and now, with SY and WYF's story in The First Frost. These two note-worthy series adapted from her works really had a substance, which makes me adore the beauty of youth romance more. Plus, her main leads (especially MLs) are the greenest flags to ever exist in chinese dramas! AAA, I'm so in love with these well-written dramas! 🥹🫶🏻
I really love the melancholic eyes Zhang Ruo Nan has. Her portrayal of Wen Yi Fan makes it easier for me to resonate with her more, and feel the complexity and depth her character had. I can't imagine other actress portray this type of character other than her. I already saw a few of her past works, but this one is her best work for me so far. I'm slowly becoming her fan. 🥹
Hello I wanted to start this. Can you spoil me their status at the end? (I know its HE) I meant what are they?…
1. They are "mortals" who practice immortal cultivation. 2. Yes, they are powerful. Both the leads are renowned persons in their world. 3. The FL can be strong, but also can be fragile. 😅 That's all I can say for now.
16k viewers in just the first few days of airing, and an 8.8 rating at that?! And it's a modern drama, not historical, xianxia, wuxia or even xuanhuan?! This is the first time I saw a chinese modern drama that is loved like this, because most well-rated dramas these days get low ratings at first. I'm now convinced to watch it (after hesitating for days 🫠) during my free time this week.
