They loved the female lead what do you mean.
Seriously, it’s just a fluffy rom-com, not a sociology thesis. You’re trying so hard to sound 'deep' by bringing up Law & Order, but you’re really just shaming a woman for being feminine. I’m clearly not going to change your perspective, and you’re obviously determined to keep judging a 20-year-old’s clothes, so let’s end this here. If you’re this triggered by a girl in hair clips, maybe stick to documentaries instead. Moving on!
You can write whatever you want ...I won't reply anymore. Bye! Have a nice day😀

Honestly, comparing a 20-year-old woman’s fashion to ‘adultizing a child’ is a massive reach and pretty offensive. It’s actually very simple: she’s a grown woman playing a grown woman.

It feels like you’re trying really hard to find a ‘moral’ problem just because you don’t like her personality or the ‘cute’ aesthetic. Plenty of women in their 20s actually dress like that in real life, and it doesn't make them any less of an adult. If the character isn’t your cup of tea, that’s fine, but let’s not act like a bubbly style is some kind of social crime. It’s a rom-com, not a documentary. Let’s just leave it at that

Comparing a romantic comedy to Law & Order: SVU is an extreme reach. There is a huge difference between a character having a 'cute' aesthetic and the serious issues discussed in crime shows.

You are over-analyzing a lighthearted drama to find a problem that isn't there. At the end of the day, she is a 20-year-old adult making her own choices. Trying to label her style as something 'deeper' or 'darker' just sounds like you’re reaching for reasons to dislike a feminine character. Let's just agree to disagree, because this comparison makes no sense.

You’re totally right to be confused! The main reason for this is likely the editing. This drama was originally…
No, not 30! It was 40 eps but they decided to make it 29 . You are right, we rarely got to see any modern drama with 40 eps but it is what it is, the original plan was to release the 40 eps .

It is honestly sad to see one woman shaming another woman’s style like this. You say women can wear what they want, but then you call her 'childish' for actually doing it. That is a total contradiction.

Being 20 years old and liking 'cute' or feminine things doesn't make a woman a child. A woman can have a high voice and wear hair clips while still being an adult with her own mind. It is very narrow-minded to think that a woman has to dress a certain 'serious' way to be respected or seen as a mature adult.

If you don't like her style, that’s just your personal taste. But calling it 'problematic' is wrong. We should let women be feminine without judging them or acting like they aren't adults. Let's stop policing how women choose to look!

It’s honestly more funny than upsetting at this point. I’m speechless that my review is living in their heads rent-free to the point of mass downvoting it every morning. It’s a shame because MDL should be about sharing perspectives, not silencing them.

I spent a whole week writing that because I love discussing dramas, so seeing this level of toxicity is just disappointing. They can keep 'battling' my review all they want to make themselves feel better, but it only proves they don't have a valid argument to post their own. I’m just going to stay unbothered and let them keep wasting their time!

The way they are battling with my review is honestly making me speechless. I’m at a loss for words because what do they even gain from this? It’s not like they’re getting paid for it! It is so incredibly childish and immature. I thought they had finally moved on, but the downvoting started up again this morning and hasn't stopped since.

The fact that my review keeps jumping up and down—even dropping to 10th place despite having the most likes—proves exactly what’s happening. If it’s not mass downvoting, then what is it? Honestly, they can do whatever they want to feed their egos, but it’s disappointing. I spent over a week carefully crafting that review, and it’s a shame to see people getting this toxic . My effort definitely doesn't deserve this kind of petty treatment.

I have to disagree on point #4. Calling a 20-year-old woman’s clothing ‘problematic’ just because she wears short skirts and hair clips feels very outdated. It’s the 21st century—she’s an adult and has total autonomy over her body and her style. There is nothing 'problematic' about a young woman enjoying a cute or feminine aesthetic; dressing a certain way doesn't make her less of a person or a 'fetish.'

As for her being 'obsessed,' I see it as her having the emotional maturity to be honest, whereas the Male Lead was stuck in the 'I'm pushing you away for your own good' trope. She wasn't being desperate; she was being the only one with the courage to fight for what she wanted. The side characters and family felt ignored simply because 11 episodes were cut from the show—it’s an editing flaw, not a character flaw. Let’s not blame the Female Lead for her fashion choices or for being the only character who actually communicates!

You’re totally right to be confused! The main reason for this is likely the editing. This drama was originally supposed to have 40 episodes, but it was cut down to only 29 episodes before it aired.

When they remove that many episodes, a lot of side stories get messy. It’s very likely that the scenes explaining Jin Xin’s treatment and recovery were deleted to save time for the main romance. The writers probably figured that as long as Jin Zhao was making money, we would just 'assume' she got better. It's definitely a big plot hole caused by the production changes!

I’m so glad that line resonated with you too!🤍
It’s so rare to see a character admit that their self-righteous sacrifice was actually a mistake.
That monologue perfectly deconstructs the 'noble idiocy' trope we see so often. It was the perfect way to wrap up his character arc and show that he finally understood what she needed from him wasn't silence, but presence. Thanks for sharing that quote!

Try "Amidst a Snowstorm of Love" - The sports-romance (billiards) was shot in Helsinki and France, and while the setting is cold, the cinematography is incredibly warm.
