I can see where you are coming from; the pseudo-sibling setup is not for everyone, and it takes a few episodes to get used to the shift in their dynamic. I suggest watching upto Episode 5 or 6 to see if the trope is still weirding you out . To answer your specific questions :- They start to acknowledge their feelings around Episode 8-10 and their first official kiss is in Episode 15, but keep an eye out for two indirect kisses and a cheek kiss before that!🤭
The shift in their relationship takes a little bit of time, but it’s honestly so worth it once you get past those early episodes!
Just finished the first two episodes and I’m already hooked! It feels like this season is going to be way more competitive than Season 1 both in love and survival. You can already feel the tension brewing between guys whenever Xiaofan flirts with the girls lol.
Speaking of Xiaofan (Evan), is anyone else getting slight red flags? I know it’s early, but the way he spoke about his past dating experiences was a bit disappointing but I’m curious to see if his edit changes.

As a fellow 'passerby turned fan' for the exact same reasons, thank you for writing this. Like you, I was drawn to her because I couldn't stand the unfairness of the hate she receives. I was so uncomfortable with how she was being treated online and cyber bullied (especially on X ) . It’s rare to see someone maintain that level of kindness and sincerity when the world is being so loud and unkind to them. Thank you for mentioning He Yu as well; it’s refreshing to see costars who truly 'see' her as a person rather than just a bubbly character. She really does deserve all the success and happiness in the world.
I hope more people read this and choose kindness. She is a lovely soul, and I’m so glad she has fans like you and me (and the SAL cast) standing by her.
