Totally love this drama a lot - it was definitely worth watching. All the characters in the story had in-depth character build up and the relationship b/w Han Ting and Ji Xing was awesome too.
I love the extra bonus episode showing a more overlook view of their life after marriage with one another -- having 2 kids -- growing up together, aging over time, and then eventually their death (where Han Ting dies first, uses the forgiveness card to ask for Ji Xing's forgiveness of him dying first before she - Ji Xing does) -- and the scene of her memories flashes by/dream of them meeting together - Ji Xing on her bike and Han Ting in his car - greeting each other) - feels like their afterlife together again - reunion - was a perfect wrap up to their story. I'm so glad there was the extra episode given to this drama -- b/c it was the perfect ending to the drama itself. Not rushed at all!
As well, this drama was not just only about the romance b/w the two - but their life/work was really developed well, plus all the side characters too - their friends' relationships and family as well. I definitely give it a 10/10 for it. Lots of life lessons from it too to be learnt and use in our daily lives as well!
The chemistry between Kevin Xu Kai and Seven Tan Song Yun - was definitely off the charts and that's the best for a drama for the two of them! Also love the OST and knowing that Kevin Xu used his own voice in the drama makes it more better too!
Whom did xiaoyao ended up with.. need spoiler also what happened to cang xuan in the end??
she ended up with TSJ (because XL saved him - gave him a life of his -- so that he can be revived and live with her happily ever after) -- but I would've prefer it to be XL instead for all he had done with her... but dead b/c of his destiny/fate...
But the ending scenes makes me confused -- did Xiaoyao lived or did she eventually died in the end too with Ah Jing? Because her name came up on the scroll of the special dedicated to those who sacrificed and compiled the 55 volumes of medical books?!?
As for Cang Xuan continues to be the King of Dahuang...by himself and then in the end went to Qingshui Town - with A'Nian to see if he can find her (Xiao Yao).
But then again -- the series have been cut a lot and lots of details were missing from it. sigh. I wished they didn't cut them and left them in the drama -- then we'd get a better picture of the drama itself completely.

agree with you too! I literally cried nonstop for most of the last 4-5 episodes of the drama -- especially when XL and XY were together -- literally I want to smack XY in the head too - like he did --- b/c she is really clueless and not understanding enough of what he did for her over the many years since they've known each other. It wasn't out of hatred -- XL to XY -- it was out of love (unconditional and sacrificial at the same time ) for her - otherwise the love bug wouldn't work between the 2 of them. sigh. :(
if only we could've a re-incarnation of the two of them would be nice. *dreams about it* with a beautiful story with a happy ending instead.

Yes he did after Xiangliu rescued him, gave a life to him before leaving him to be rescued and returned to her. His actual memories of what happened to him was unreal... As XL changed it...after saving him.

No way!! She does not belong with Xiang Liu at all! She mentally messed up -- thrown in the same category as the one who went crazy after TuShan Hou denied her actions...etc. Those 3 should be together -- they are over toxic and brainless stupidity full of jealousy crap. yup i noticed obviously! that's why i like how things are coming along - playing it out. But honest I am ready to kick ZD and that jerk Mr. Chang out plus his sister too! Grrrr!! all 3 are troublemakers! annoying as hell and what part of the stupid brain thinks he still likes ZD. So good to see the trailer of ep 26 - can't wait to see H.T telling ZD off like for the nth time again and telling her that he's already in a relationship with JX! Like get a grip selfish and jealous girl! ZD is over toxic and so are Mr. Chang and his sister!
Why did HT take the drink for JX? Should JX have done that? It caused HT to have to drink.
He's trying to protect her -- b/c he loves her. He doesn't want her to be hurt/get insulted/treated badly ... etc by others. So, he took the drink instead of her - despite the fact he is allergic to alcohol. Hence why after drinking it, he took leave immediately - so that no-one that he doesn't trust knows about his weakest/condition.
