To be honest I am not exactly happy with the ending -- it was sort of happy, but at the same time left a cliffhanger/mystery as to who is number 1 behind all of this mess?!?
The reaction when Pan Yue's father found it that the token he just received was #2 -- already shocked him -- and then to flash forward and seeing someone wearing blue -- which kinda resemble's Pan's clothing -- but then again - it can't be -- b/c Pan Yue and Yang Caiwei is in Heyang on the bridge together just after they buried their best friend - Zhuo Lan Jiang with Bai Xiao Sheng.
So, I feel like it needs a season 2 --> to further explore who is the mystery #1 person who is behind this all?
1. Someone in the palace is still in-charge of it all - and the person they killed was no exactly the full mastermind. Was it maybe his wife? As she killed him immediately on the spot w/o allowing him to be excuted by the Empress?
2. Or was it the Empress, herself that's the mastermind? -- may be she asked someone to due her dirty work too?
3. Or was Shangguan Zhi's brother? But that be odd too... he saved them (Pan Yue & Yang Caiwei)
4. But then again, re-thinking it -- it looks more like a guy's hand rather than a women's one.
Come to think of it -- I feel the ending was a bit rushed/forced especially when they have a few characters that are not cleared up properly - like Pan Yue's so-called brother? <-- he seems to be jealous of Pan Yue. The so-called mastermind that was killed - his ppl weren't all caught yet -- could they out of them all was behind it too? Definitely, the ending was really a puzzling piece - it was set to make us wonder who that #1 complete mastermind person could be?
At least the 2 main leads did get a happy ending - but with the sacrifice of the princess and their best friend - Zhuo Lan Jiang. I really wished that he didn't die --Zhuo Lan Jiang. I mean I had a sense he would be sacrificed through the process -- of infiltrating the bad guys -- on his own. I just wished he had a back up partner to protect him in the process or that he could've survived -- I literally cried when he died. He didn't deserve it. Leaving behind his lover - who became a widow of him. As well for the Princess to die that way too -- wasn't what I was hoping for either.
Lesson learnt: Don't let greed, selfishness, money - destroy you and those around you. Trust those who you trust the most, love one another unconditionally -- and live life w/o regrets.

What?!? unbeliveable!! he's good looking! Seriously? @.@ I guess some ppl have different taste than ours then. :P Anyhow, there are many good looking actors and I support them all!
So technically Mofang never really wanted to go against the Immortals after being part of the Immortal realm for so long. He totally hates Fusheng to the core -- b/c he goes against -- who he loves -- and that's Shen Li and all that... especially since he became friends with all those in the Immortal Realm -- he didn't wanted to kill anyone -- but because many times Fusheng overtook his body and control him -- so badly that makes Mofang go against his true self.
Mofang's only reason originally was to save his father -- or so he thinks - which is probably untrue -- mind-manipulated by Fusheng all these times. So, in many ways I can't hate him - b/c to be honest - he did wanted to change --and so he fought with his strength in meditation - so that he can break free from him for a short while to rescue Shen Li from there and take her to the beach - to hopefully be rescued by someone - or for him to hide her until the others can't find her - and later if possible come back to save her properly. Either way -- he still ...when he is in his sane mindset --> of himself - he still greet Shen Li as Lordship no matter what - despite her being betrayed by him (in her mindset) -- b/c he still cares/loves her unconditionally -- willing to protect her at all cost - when he saw trouble coming their way - he used his last strength to go and distract those who wants to take her back.
Therefore, actually I want more redemption chances/arc for Mofang - he deserves it despite how everyone preceives it. So, don't hate me for this part.
As well, it's kinda cool to see how XZ is reunited with Shen Li - but b/c of what she's been through (back in the Fusheng dungeon) -- she loses all her senses - b/c occasionally can get it back on/off. So, of course XZ doesn't realize this point when he was confessing to her at that point on the beach when he arrived - b/c by the time XZ finds her -- some of her senses were loss - esp seeing/hearing... only can talk plus her sense of touch/smell are intact. Everything else was not available to her. And before her sense of sight was gone again - the last person she saw on the beach with her was Mofang (he was the one who rescued her first) - so it made sense for her to assume that he (XZ) was Mofang and not XZ -- himself. Therefore, when XZ started carrying her -- she got upset - telling him (XZ) - mistaken for Mofang to leave her alone - go their separate ways, etc. XZ had to hear all of that - but at the same time couldn't get across to her that he was XZ while carrying her - she can only then guess he was a fisherman b/c of the sea smell that she smelled from him (XZ) - well the fact that he was inside of the East Sea for a long time makes her assume that he was a fisherman makes total sense too.
As for the rest of the episodes to come - we will definitely get to see some funny time b/w the two of them. Let's hope that the come clean with each other's feelings towards each other -- and build a stronger relationship that just all "duties/responsibilities" that they both have to carry on their shoulders.
Anyhow that's my 2-cents worth of feedback/opinion on the recent two episodes of "25 & 26" respectively.
It wasn't a filler episode to me, it was a transitional episode because everything in it was significant to furthering…
Actually, I agree with you -- it is a transitioning episode -- it's worth it -- to show how each of them grieve out their pain of the loss of Shen Li. Especially the 4 of them -- XZ's pain by freezing the East Sea to go find her -- which of course comes with consequence of backlash of the so call power of nature - which really do a huge damage on him - to make him split blood like that when Furong Jun came to his side -- to remind him to stop it and let the East Sea to revert back to normal, etc. But also, it goes to show how Furong Jun also comes to his senses of how he feels between the 2 main leads - of SL and XZ. How he's willing to do things to help the two out, etc.
Then we have Furong Jun's sister -- like us -- she wants to find out what happened to their past -- and so hence -- we see her knocking out FJ many times to get all the details -- as if it was a modern person - watching a drama within a drama of it's own. After that -- when she was sent down to the Immortal Realm - as part of the Heaven Emperor -- she got backlash by the ppl of the Immortal Realm - b/c to them (Those in the Immortal Realm) -- is super angry that the Divine/Heaven Realm when their realm (Immortal) was attacked by the evil one/things. It make sense that this was shown -- b/c without it how can we know as viewers how angry the Immortals were to the Heaven/Divine realm for being useless and unhelpful when they were needed most in a battle? All they (Heaven/Divine realm) did was sit on the sidelines being useless/pathetic. Sorry but not sorry - I feel that the Divine/Heaven realm needs to be attacked to realize how serious this battle that Shen Li went through for them. All those ppl in the Divine/Heaven realm did - was sending them "so-called heaven money' to help them re-build?? That was really a bad move and this episode shows it -- why the 2 realms are constantly at odds with each other. The Immortals are always at the forefront in any battles - but the Heaven/Divine realm are just sitting on the sidelines - doing nothing but make fun of others when they are not the same as them, etc.
Showing the Immortal Queen/Shen Li's master grieving is important too - to learn how much she actually misses her - for the most part -- how much respect she has for Shen Li; how much other regrets she has for her too.
Then, at the end of this episode -- we also see how Mofang is changing and trying not to allow that F.S. take anymore power from him - b/c he can see that F.S. is overusing his powers to try to overthrow him/go against what Mofang actually wants to do. Mofang is actually angry at F.S. and in his mind wants to continue to protect his love - which is Shen Li as best as he could - even if it meant to go against everything else that F.S is trying to do -- power hunger/grab/trip.
Therefore, without this episode 24 -- it wouldn't be proper drama -- cause we won't be able to see how the characters grow and changes in the story itself. So, I'm excited to see more of this drama and the direction it will take - cause I too didn't read the book either.

nothing can hide the fact she can recognize him in an instant -- and obviously she's not blind to the fact he was trying to hide his identity from her -- sigh i wonder why he did that? can he just be honest with her for once???

wow...so many plot twists - that it got me so confused with everything -- up to the end of the drama - I feel lost. But thankfully there's a redemption arc and that the 2 main leads finally have a H.E. phew. I dunno how many times they had to break up in the story or forget -- or how many times each of the characters seems to get killed in the process -- in order to survive ... but it definitely makes you wonder if they can even get a H.E. and the 2nd leads too ... this story definitely plays with your mind a lot to the point is will any of them (the characters in the drama) will make it to the end. Well anyways -- it was definitely put you in a rollercoaster of emotions for sure. As well it's not your typical story either.
Ok, please don't hate me for this post: My perspective wise - rational wise/opinion wise: 1. I still believe that Mofang still loves her -- despite who he actually is. He tried to save her during the fight in the sea many times -- once trying to protect her when she's being attacked in air - but got caught by F.S. (and tied/roped - so that he can't go and protect her)...and when Shen Li was stabbing/punching him on the rocks in the sea -- he still tells her it's not safe where they are -- and asked her to leave -- grabbing her hands to run away together -- but b/c that suddenly FS got super powerful & caught her and tried to kill her -- that in the end she is sacrificed her life once -- of course we know she's a phoneix and will be reborn - at the same time captured too.
In Ep 25 trailer -- despite the fact he's the Lord Prince Demon - he did say that his bottom line is her (he literally said "Shen Li is his principle, she cannot be harmed")-- he doesn't want her to be harmed by F.S. either way. His love is truly unconditional and unrequited at the same time for her -- even though they are meant to be enemies... I feel like he's being control by some forces preventing him to be truly beside her and fight alongside with her at the same time. I feel like since they have been together for 300 + years - through life & death - that he can't possibly completely be evil per se.

Yes, it was definitely an epic battle at the East Sea -- and we see her sacrificing herself as a Phoenix to protect all people in the 3 realms -- esp the Immortal Realm and possibly the mortal one too. As for the Divine/Heaven Realm - I doubt much about it being affected -- but possibly in the future episodes -- as we progress through the story - all of it will be affect by F.S. and the Chimeis...
3. Seeing XZ's disbelief of what he heard about Shen Li's death -- and his anger at boiling point - shook the whole Divine/Heaven realm for sure. After that seeing him flying super fast to the East Sea to go find her is painful to watch -- and when he got there -- calling out her name in desparate pleas and seeing a hallucination of her on the rocks makes me cry a bucket of tears. In the next 2 trailers we see him freezing the East Sea almost completely to find her body (ep 24) and then in ep 25 - we see him criticizing himself --> "even though he tried to avoid it, but it still can't be avoid -- meaning having feelings for her -- it still happened -- and then he said --"if he had known there'd be a day like this, he would have been super nicer to her in the past" meaning now he regrets his actions -- teasing her, etc... but now it all too late."
4. As for her master/leader of the Immortal realm -- wake up to get the news of her death is super profounding and painful at the same time. At some point or another -- she's being withholding some secrets that I know us viewer can sort of guess - and that's mainly about Shen Li's past -- esp about her parents. But then again, I am a bit weary of her too -- esp when she heard about F.S - when Shen Li inquire about him -- she didn't give a straight answer about it. Therefore some times -- I feel like she's up-to -no good too. But I could be wrong about it -- just some gut feelings of mine in regards to her.

As for the Divine/Heaven realm - I feel like that they are way to relaxed and doing nothing to protect their place -- like Shen Li said before she returned to the Immortal realm after hearing about the battle that happened there -- and was battling those fiery rocks aiming towards the Divine/Heaven realm - she was the only one to protect it -- but of course eventually XZ join in the fight to end it all...that I just feel like they -- the ones in the Divine/Heaven realm are super lazy and useless at the same time too.
6. As for Furong Jun - he may seem playful as usual but at the same time can be serious on certain things - he has sort out his mind that he treats/cares about Shen Li like a brother in arms rather than a lover/marriage candidate. When the general came up to the Divine-Heaven realm and he inquired about the situation -- (the battle in the Immortal realm) - he was relief to hear that the battle was won by Shen Li, but at the same time didn't know she had passed away (because the general didn't answer his question and left quickly) -- but by observation of what the general was wearing, he was able to sensed something was wrong/out of place already - without needing any more words to be exchanged b/w the two.
Anyhow -- that's roughly what I wanted to say based on my observation of the drama thus far from ep 23 and onwards (from the trailers of ep 24 & 25). Can't wait to see the rest and how each character progresses in this drama/story too. My two-cents words of insight of the story thus far.
