It's kinda funny that the current episode that has been released so far is ep 18 and in here on this page -- everyone is talking like many episodes ahead of what is actually airing -- that is confusing me...cause 1. i don't have access to the trailers and 2. going beyond ep 19 or more makes me feel like those episodes already aired and I feel like I am missing out on something. sigh.
First of all the sister would have been cussed out by me. The ring would have been left and we would have rolled…
totally agree -- the current bf and bf family is horrible -- esp the bf's sister -- wow -- she literally is a huge snob!! Garabage -- super toxic too. As for the current bf is a piece of garabage too -- always give the FL problems, lying to her, doesn't work, makes her pay off his debt, etc... that's horrible way to treat your gf dude! horrible and disgusting - if I were the main FL, I would have broken up with him long time ago.
As for the FL's mother -- she is super duper toxic -- controlling freak, putting way too much pressure on her daughter, that it literally kills her off.
As for the FL she should pack her stuff up and move out on her own - without her family support. Her mom demands are insanely crazy and insane. Really, the FL should become independent - away from her family an live a life that she wants to life on her own.
The trailer for ep 15 pissed me off. Her family is really something. And that cousin of hers. Of course the good…
totally agree with you about that in the ep 15 preview -- her family is completely hyprocrites all the way...selfish - she did all the work to get them to where they are now -- back in the city, thriving, etc...but you treat her that way in the end of it all??? Horrible! Really she should leave them -- to let them suffer the consequenes of what they said to her etc...
on the otherhand -- now when I looked at ep 16 -- i know that the ML is working for the Emperor -- to figure out somethings against the Emperor Dowager's relationship with the Hua family - grandmother -- I wonder what they have against them.... and honestly the fact that he's not being honest with her -- and his look at the end of the preview trailer for ep 16 doesn't look good -- he seems scary AF... I hope he won't do something bad to her. I feel like the two of them will eventually part way with each other -- i just hope he won't hurt her in the process. I don't know what to feel about the ML -- up to ep 14 he seems to care for her -- but at the same time -- is that all a show? Does he really like her at all? Or does he have a motive to try and destroy her + Hua family for the Emperor?? Please ML come clean to her and stop lying to her/misleading her/making her misunderstand you.
1. I honestly don't like the Emperor at all. He seems to be power hungry to the point to bring the Hua family to ruins -- and constantly does so throughout the drama -- making the ML keep a tab on her and her family. As if he - the Emperor seems not to trust his Empress or Empress Dowager - possible connection with the Hua family.
2. I don't trust the male servants around the Hua family -- they get envious of them making a comeback and trying to steal their money.
3. The people in the city - some of them are always jealous/envious of the Hua family -- for making a comeback again -- and wanting to try to constantly destroy ever possible way for the Hua family to get better education for their kids, etc.
4. Gu Yanxi's family - seems not to be trustworthy either - esp towards Shaoyao - locking her up, wanting her dead, feeding possibly poison to her, etc.
5. Shen Qi's family isn't any better either except his brother sort of. Shen Qi's dad is a very selfish man - when the Hua family fell -- the father wants the whole family to stay distant away from the Hua family -- opposite of how Shen Qi feels about the whole situation -- even to the point of beating his own son up/saying harsh things towards etc -- even looking down on him -- so disgusting a father.
6. I honestly feel sad that the Hua family had to suffer so many things constantly and be looked down upon by others -- but then again, that's roughly what this drama is about partially. The other half/part is the mystery behind Gu Yanxi's mother's mysterious death - and why so many people want his sister to die too.
7. I hope sooner or later -- that the ML comes clean about his other identity with Hua Zhi soon - otherwise it could ruin their future relationship of being together -- cause in someways he is somewhat an enemy to her -- but that was mainly caused by the Emperor's doing. I really hope that he can be more honest with her and trust her more too. I know at times he seems to be protective of her and at other times (esp when he's in his other identity) - he seems to make things difficult for her too. So, I don't know how I feel about him.
8. I'm so glad that Hua Zhi is a strong character -- to help try to rebuild the Hua family back up again constantly. Like her great grandmother says -- the journey/time back in the city will be much more difficult than when they were living in the countryside - which seems more harmonious than now. I feel like they shouldn't have move back to the city - but just set up a shop there instead. Cause now that they are back in the city -- the members of the Hua family doesn't seem as harmonious as before once again. But I do hope that the Hua family can truly workout all their family problems out in the end. All of them are giving Hua Zhi a lot of stress and problems to deal with. I feel like Hua Zhi doesn't get a lot of rest and always out & about to do things to improve their family all the time. I feel sad/pity for her. I also feel like her health is deteriorating because of all of these things she has to deal with time and time again.
9. Hua's family - I feel like they really need to change their prespective more -- esp the women (the mothers) needs to change their mindsets -- a lot of time they seem greedy/selfish too - towards their own kids/servants as well. Hua Zhi's decision to have all the servants' contracts destroyed was the wisest move ever. Cause that gives these "servants' the freedom of choice of what they want to do and not be bound by servant/master attitudes in the family of theirs.
Anyhow that's how I am trying to figure out this drama thus far/see - my 2-cents on the drama thus far up to ep 12. Looking forward to seeing the rest soon!
yes the ending was perfect...for me too... if only they actually show them get married would've been even better. but nonethless it was awesomeness! from beginning to the end of the drama was putting us on a rollercoaster - one after the next. Sadly there wasn't a lot of time for them (Shen Li and her father - Feng Lai) to be together at all. One had to sacrifice for the other one to live....
When Mofang was actually Mofang in the abysss -- it was really heartbreaking to watching - Shen Li actually want to forgive him (in the indirect way) -- telling him to get up and finish this battle - then the forgiveness will be forgiven then... but actually aware that he too also sacrificed himself too - to try to stop the mess that his father - Liu Ming did. There I cried with her too...
The 3rd sacrifice at the ending battle - was actually Xing Zhi... it was a tough battle that had to make in order to help stop the abyss from opening up and causing chaos for all 3 realm. it wasn't an easy one -- so hence why he died there on the open desert...and Shen Li cried for like ages -- unable to move on -- but with the help of her master/stepmom -- she was able to eventually move onwards in her life -- eventually if we watch on -- of course he got revived by those other God friends of his (who in spirit was still around) to help him come back to life after many years later to Shen Li.
Ending was perfectly sweet - we find out that Shen Li is pregnant before their marriage and they were having a lot of fun together throughout the whole ep 39 -- was totally worth watching -- so much more kiss scenes too!! love it a lot!! 10/10 for me!
Argh...why is my region is messed up with the drama -- suddenly when I want to watch it with Express package - it disappears...and now only left with ep 33 even though the site says 39 episodes...hmmm...WeTV do you have a glitch?!?!?
I marathoned Blossoms in Adversity. Instead of dumb immortals you get dumb family, but the romance is pure and…
I am the same too -- i love men with masked identies or clothing over their eyes as well... gives you a sense of mystery, curiosity, power, hot - sexual attraction to them. Agree with you too - his strength of punching the guy who is doing wrong things was definitely like Capt. America beating up Thanos, etc. As well agreeing with you that the plot is super addicting too!
To be honest I am not exactly happy with the ending -- it was sort of happy, but at the same time left a cliffhanger/mystery as to who is number 1 behind all of this mess?!?
The reaction when Pan Yue's father found it that the token he just received was #2 -- already shocked him -- and then to flash forward and seeing someone wearing blue -- which kinda resemble's Pan's clothing -- but then again - it can't be -- b/c Pan Yue and Yang Caiwei is in Heyang on the bridge together just after they buried their best friend - Zhuo Lan Jiang with Bai Xiao Sheng.
So, I feel like it needs a season 2 --> to further explore who is the mystery #1 person who is behind this all?
1. Someone in the palace is still in-charge of it all - and the person they killed was no exactly the full mastermind. Was it maybe his wife? As she killed him immediately on the spot w/o allowing him to be excuted by the Empress?
2. Or was it the Empress, herself that's the mastermind? -- may be she asked someone to due her dirty work too?
3. Or was Shangguan Zhi's brother? But that be odd too... he saved them (Pan Yue & Yang Caiwei)
4. But then again, re-thinking it -- it looks more like a guy's hand rather than a women's one.
Come to think of it -- I feel the ending was a bit rushed/forced especially when they have a few characters that are not cleared up properly - like Pan Yue's so-called brother? <-- he seems to be jealous of Pan Yue. The so-called mastermind that was killed - his ppl weren't all caught yet -- could they out of them all was behind it too? Definitely, the ending was really a puzzling piece - it was set to make us wonder who that #1 complete mastermind person could be?
At least the 2 main leads did get a happy ending - but with the sacrifice of the princess and their best friend - Zhuo Lan Jiang. I really wished that he didn't die --Zhuo Lan Jiang. I mean I had a sense he would be sacrificed through the process -- of infiltrating the bad guys -- on his own. I just wished he had a back up partner to protect him in the process or that he could've survived -- I literally cried when he died. He didn't deserve it. Leaving behind his lover - who became a widow of him. As well for the Princess to die that way too -- wasn't what I was hoping for either.
Lesson learnt: Don't let greed, selfishness, money - destroy you and those around you. Trust those who you trust the most, love one another unconditionally -- and live life w/o regrets.
You have to see what the Dragon King gives him in the fishing net:):) but he want only fish for Shen Li:)https://www.tiktok.com/@yanyan5021/video/7352897437943581968
