totally agree with you, they did have a happy ending -- b/c people who watch it - didn't really watch it to the end or understand the last episode properly. They need to rewatch it for once to get the ending correct!

He did not die -- did you not watch the drama properly?? He of course lives/survives -- 2 months later, they meet again at the school grounds - where they first met when they were younger - and he proposes to marry her - asking for her hand in marriage - to be his wife - Mrs. Song. So, they did get a happy ending.

As for the evil one - he was sentence to death - b/c he killed to many people/intentional injury to others, attempt murdr and other crimes - and did lots of bad things, so his punishment by law was immediate death sentence.

Time to rewatch the last episode properly.

I really love the last 2 episodes -- of the 2 leads spending time in the village away from the politics of the palace! This is like their little gateway from the crazy world -- and be able to live a fun-filled sweet life with one another - as husband/wife - bro/sis. :P I wish it could just go on forever - like MJH says - I wish our lives could be like this forever. Same for her too (Mei Lin) - she doesn't want to go back either. Wants this kind of life to last forever - to be married to each other - and forget the rest of the palace garbage - but then again - deep down they want revenge for what happened to her town's people and her family too -- and he - the same for the army that he lost as well.

As for the other dude - SML - the Prince Yue Qin - is getting more and more annoying - plus selfish too! Wants to get Mei Lin at all cost is stupid! Mei Lin never have feelings for him or loves him - already told him time and time again that she's not interested in him as a lover.

Mei Lin develops love for Murong Jing He - cares for him, etc. Of course when we see the trailers for the upcoming episodes the two of them Murong Jing He and her kisses -- meaning they love each other for real and not fooling around - b/c they have gone through life together - the good and the bad. Whereas for Yue Qin he never did once anything related together -- so, he doesn't deserve her at all - to forcefully marry her down the road is ridiculous! I would be happy if Mei Lin fakes her death so that she can get away from him.

As for the bad brother (Murong Xuan Le) to Murong Jing He -- he's the worst of the worst - toxic, liar, murderer, manipulator, faker, etc. He should die a painful death! No room for forgiveness ever - he doesn't deserve to be crown prince at all! He literally lies to everyone around him constantly and kills ppl more than Jing He does - innocent ones! Whereas Jing He still has a real heart - to care for the others! Jing He doesn't need to be king/prince - he should live a free life outside of the palace with the one he loves - which is Mei Lin! Not to be trapped and stuck in the palace forevermore.

I really hope that they both have a happy ending with one another if possible.

Sadly I don't the drama show this part at all -- about Li Ying's parents or sister dying -- so that's why when I am watching -- I totally don't understand his outburst of him constantly just targeting Shen but not Li. That's why I don't get it. To me Li Ying is totally out of his mind -- mental state of mind is not stable can be dangerous and harmful --- to all around him - he should be the one locked up -- and add in Miss Mu too. and all those in the so-called military?!? or whatnot...should be a locked up - not Shen! He did nothing wrong and I don't think he is originally even wanting to hurt anyone -- but everyone keeps on hurting him! Super unfair, I'd say.

I agree - I hope Ye Dingzhi does get Wejun away -- otherwises Wuxin can't be born at all - then this series doesn't connect with the next one -- TBOY story. It wouldn't make sense at all.

Getting on my nerves - the Li Ying -- what the heck is wrong with him always wanting to kill Shen? For what? Doesn't make any sense for me still -- and that Miss Mu -- sorry I hate her as well for her stupid selfish reason too. Funny everyone who is attacking Shen or wants him dead has the most outrageous and stupid reasons. All Shen wants to do is have a peaceful life with the one he cares for and that's Milan with his best buddy (most likely bro) - together in the regular society -- to contribute to the society/place he is living for a better place by changing people's perspectives in life. Shen honestly did nothing wrong - yet these other ppl are after him - wanting him dead. Sigh. I feel sad/pity for Shen - who has to go through unnecessary suffering that I would considered uncalled for. I literally cried for him - being locked up like a dog in a case. :( zero respect and in the most inhumane way, unbelievable.

Omg, at times I think Li Ying has gone crazy -- and should be put into mental hospital. His mental state of mind is completely unstable, like literally -- where he lives he has locks everywhere - almost like a jail place and he carries a gun all the time even when he is sleeping. Crazy nuts - thinks he saw Shen -- but all it was -- was hallucination effect of his lack of sleep - insomnia. haha... honestly - he should be the one locked away in a mental hospital without a gun forever. Super messed up kind of guy. He hurts/kills others if they don't like him - is totally a mentally insane person! Versus Shen, he doesn't want to kill if he doesn't want to. But if others give him problems/crosses his path/bottom line or hurts the ones he cares for - he will get mad.

As for the latest 2 episodes - I'm glad Mi Lan is doing her best to help him out and protect him in the best way that she can despite being blind.

As for Situ - feel a bit of a pity for him - esp the person he likes Jin Jing - who likes Li Ying -- is kinda a strange relationship b/w the 3 of them. But all in all - he is very caring person (Situ) - towards Shen (who now everyone is guessing that he is Shen's lost younger brother) and towards Mi Lan too.

Between Mi Lan and Shen - I believe they will fall in love with each other despite the fact that Shen is not the typical kind of guy (he's a vampire).

All in all the story thus far is playing out well - excited for the next episodes to come - but based on the previews Mi Lan is captured by Li Ying/Miss Mu -- and is taunting Shen to fight back and rescue her - but in the process Shen gets hurt and mad a the same time - looks like by ep 10 - his powers as a vampire becomes strong b/c he is super angry at what those ppl did to him - all Shen is trying to do is to live a normal life - not as a object of science experiments - to be tortured, etc. I am certain he will definitely fight back what he is close to losing - which is Mi Lan - who is the innocent one of all people. Sigh.

Well ok, finished watching ep 12 -- and that scene was actually a flashback of their school days - which Xu Mu kinda forgotten about it and Jiang Zhou explaining what had happened back then. Looking at the trailer for ep 13 - they are back to sweetness again and so I am anticipating that it will have a happy ending hopefully for both of them plus their best friends too!

yes after ep 12 -- I figured out that much too. can't wait to watch ep 13 and 14 -- but it's so fast and short!! unbelievable! The drama is getting sweeter and sweeter. But I honestly don't like Jiang Zhou's dad -- he should be arrested for his abusive behavior, stalking and taking Jiang Zhou's hardworking money he made to go and gamble!! Such a horrible father!! Disappointed!
