Agreed with those comemnts about her potential, she just needs to get some good dramas. The ones I've watched are garbo (Buried City). Maybe Tiger and Crane will be good. I'll check back then.
edit: T&C was garbo, but A Journey to Love is great and it shows her acting skills.
Why do you think that Till the End of the Moon had a bad ending?
Yeah I tried rewatching it and then looking at some explanations, but I found so many differences from when I first watched it, it wasn't worth it. I didn't like the drama to begin with for reasons it would take too long to explain. I'll leave it at a hopeful but open ending in my opinion, however I'd never re-watch that drama. Thanks for replying.

I thought of everything that happened as a dream (not really a dream). He said he would follow her to the end of the earth (or something like that) and he did. Now they are back together after that trial with a daughter (I think). I really need to recheck that ending, because it's really fuzzy.
I think this gist of it was that they were God's and she did something and got sent down to undergo trials. He said he would follow her, which he did. They played their part and then returned, now they are back together with a child at the end over looking the mortal realm or whatever. Or maybe I got it wrong?
I'm going to say my 2 cents, and then bounce. I think Chao yue is a pretty decent actress, but I can't understand why she's in so many boring dramas. Mainly ones with the old style ML FL dynamics. I really wanted to like this, but it's so boring, I can't finish it; good concept poor execution.
I also don't get the hate towards her, probably jealousy or annoyance. I've been watching dramas since 2000, and her facial expressions and timing are spot on, the only problem I see are that her characters are very cliche. This year there have been some really well written characters (Till the End of the Moon and Lost You Forever, Love Like the Galaxy? maybe I haven't finished it), but then to go from that to this style is like a slap in the face. Then again I think maybe she just got the crumbs. I'm guessing they are going to squeeze out Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Yue Hong (Yang Mi) right after this.
I'm patiently awaiting Zhao Liying's and Yang Mi's dramas. I think this year was a good year for everyone, except for my girl Chao Yue, oh well she's young she's got plenty of years ahead of her.
I don't know what was that ending! In my opinion both leads were just seeing things! He was still in his world…
Thanks for saying that, I was wondering what happened with c-drama like those. Is there a place we can go to see those changes every year, I can read a little Chinese.
It’s based on Chinese costumes Romance mythology lol. This kind of concept is call xuanhuan which is a mixed…
Thanks, I've watched a lot of Xuanhuan, but they've usually kept the realms separate. Also they've really been sparse with the cgi, but I get it, it's a long drama.
Dang I watched up to episode 30, which ends in a cliffhanger... This story is pretty long, but all of it interesting, never a dull moment. I like the characters, ost, and the acting for the most part, the only thing I dislike is the world. Forgive me but this world is not convincing, supposedly immortals and humans etc. are all living together. I get the concept, but the disparity in power is not clearly seen. They try to give you a bone here and there, but it falls flat for me.
