Yeah they look like aliens, I'm thinking there's something more to this story. In my opinion, I like that the Gods look like aliens, I'm tired of the same ol' thing. I also noticed about the time the ML "left" for a bit the story just tanked. The ML and FL chemistry is non-existent.
I liked all the characters and the actors and actresses that play them, the sets, the costumes, the OST, but the story....
SPOILERS:To be honest, I decided to watch this lakorn because I watched Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat and I loved it :)…
I liked this drama more than Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat. I just wish I didn't have to watch it in 360p. At least Bpoop Phaeh Saniwaat had a better quality video resolution.
There are some better pictures of her online or baidu. I think the picture that they have up there is actually used by casting directors to gauge how an actress would look on screen. Notice the blank background and that it's a top only shot. I look online and there are some other shots like this showing her doing various emotions. I could be wrong though.
Don't let the rating dissuade you from watching this drama. People mainly give it a bad rating due to censorship (time travel stuff) and the ending. It's a good watch, and if you want to use your imagination, pretend that last couple of minutes didn't happen. :) In all seriousness, if there is no second season, it's still a nice drama to watch if you are into fantasy. 30 episodes is definitely too few for this drama, I hope there's a second season with another 20-30 more episodes.
I too. I'm afraid it'll end up being disappointing. Just like Legend of Fei, was to me. However, in terms of costume…
What will make this drama disappointing to you? I watched the trailer and read the synopsis and I definitely have a sense of déjà vu. (of being disappointed) But, Dilraba and Rosy in the same drama, I must watch.
That being said, I suggest to all that can't wait for this drama to air should just forget about it until May June. I anticipate eng subs for the series by then. Find other dramas to hold you off.
So umm, this looks good, but I'm kind of put off by the present day characters. They are just learning about their past incarnations? That's it? The overall theme about Ayutthaya looks interesting, but I'm not sure about the characters. I guess I'll check it out.
Story-wise, I personally found the time-travelling plot device to be a thinly contrived vehicle purely used to…
"There didn't seem to be a really compelling reason as to why she was being chosen to shuttle back-and-forth in between her modern era and his boran period - well, at least I wasn't really buying what the drama was selling to me anyway. "
From what I understand when Jao Khun Visarn was sick and about to die, his will to serve his country and get them through this crisis found her in the future and brought her back by use of that mirror. As the drama has flashbacks you can see that she had a strong will to serve her country or help others and also knew different languages that were helpful during that crisis. He got better and eventually found her again, felt a sense familiarity. Near the end he adopted her in time. This is a supernatural drama, so I found it believable enough, more than other time-travel dramas from other countries.
She and Yang Mi are opposite sides of acting style, but both works for me. She is full of expressions when she…
I get what you are saying, especially in Ashes of Love. She acts with her face, however it seems different than how everyone else acts. I'm still not decided if it's good or not, but I have watched about three of her dramas.
For those that want to know. It ends with them defeating evil and her completing her task successfully and leaving. He wrote down these tales and travels alone speaking to strangers. (That's what I got from it)
Here's my opinion, don't waste your time on this one. I'm relatively optimistic with whatever I watch, but I couldn't find one good thing about watching this movie. Angst with no reasoning, and then flashbacks upon flashbacks to help you understand, but in the end you don't care about anyone.
I do hope we can see these actors and actresses in other movies or dramas in the future. As regards to the ending, see the reply.
