edit: so i just re-watched a few parts. I think it was merely an investigation to question the FL on whether she did violate boundaries. the ML found it very likely she did so he reported it to the relevant parties who would properly investigate the matter.

I don't believe he raped her, it was attempted rape and then I believe she says she managed to fight free and leave the room. that's what i gathered from her police report in ep 1. she said "Tā xiǎng qīnfàn wǒ" which means 'he wanted to assault me'. I looked up the minimum sentence for rape in China is 3 years imprisonment, so I doubt they would have written in the drama 1 year if it was rape.

The "proof" was the victim attempting suicide as a result of the unrelenting interrogation from the FL, who discredited her story of rape by proving she lied about being drunk. The ML reported her for the methods she used which showed no regard for the health and wellbeing of their impacts on the woman.

Yeah totally glossy outcome for the girl, when in reality she will have those same destructive tendencies pop-up when she faces trouble. In any case, glad we can move on!

KJ's ex-wife i think became everyone's favourite character of the show although she was there for like 20 minutes! I think we all fell for her! Truly a joy to watch her character.

That power outage hahaha then him describing her the next day as "soft as a kitten"!!! Love the push and pull dynamic though. It makes for great watching.

I saw in previews we are going back to our least favourite girl Xiao Yun for a few episodes... argh... can't we just change the channel and follow Bai Tong around on her photographic journeys instead? Or as you said, another power outage with the FL and ML in a room to talk it out and sweat it out would also be fine (plz writers).

I might not have understood the reason properly but I believe it is because her BF didn't trust her methods of dealing with the annoying high school girl, despite her looking after the best interests of the girl. We see he didn't trust her method because he went against the FL in the conflict.

The FL sums it up saying that her and her BF are not right for each other and that's all there is to it.

yes has broken up with him in episode 16.

In episode 16 FL and her boyfriend break up. Before he leaves, the boyfriend tells ML to take care of her and go for his chance at love. The story starts the romance between the ML and FL almost instantly after this with them sharing an intimate moment in the same episode.

Sorry just realised they use two different songs for the OST ending. Episodes 1-10 use 孙妙维-天空的独白 (google translation Sun Miaowei - Sky's Monologue) while episodes 11-15 use the one from Claire mentioned previously.

that makes perfect sense and its great to have those kind of boundaries. i think TYY is only written like this for the sake of the plot otherwise her character would likely have had your response in those situations :-)

haha so triggered! TYY does her own thing anyway and doesn't take any heed to anything KJ says. You got annoyed at what he said but TYY didn't. His words were water off a duck's back.

Imo TYY is simply putting up boundaries for the girl (aka giving her an education) and told her BF to do the same. I don't think once has she taken on the role of a rescuer for the girl or her boyfriend. To her boyfriend she's been like "you need to sort this sh*t out", and to the girl "do stupid things and you'll find out your actions have consequences!".

TYY is the most headstrong person in the series - she does what she wants when she wants and no one (especially KJ) has any say over that. - Ep 15 she further cements how true this is haha

As of episode 15 the FL and ML are getting closer. She just told him she wants to have work boundaries with him but it's now pretty clear the direction the show will take. I dare say she will break up with her current BF next episode.

EP 14 spoilers: ok ok ok ML being totally supportive of FL and i'm all for it! beautiful dynamic until the car ride ended and then he went and put his foot in it by doing too much inviting her to the bar one day to tell him about his past! and she full rejected it hahaha we know he wants her to know the real him but it was too eager and premature! hahah i love it. the funny thing is that he had the opportunity to tell her what happened over dinner but he was being mr. cool aand said he didn't need to correct her version of the story DESPITE HIM TOTALLY WANTING TO TELL HER lolololol

as for Fang Wei'An he is trying his best ,but my word he has a crazy as bat sh*t sister-in law. like next level mentally twisted. cliff-hanger ending. very intrigued as to what is to come.

Ep 15: ex-wife comes to visit Director Kang. More moments between the FL and ML. Great episode all round.
