that makes perfect sense and its great to have those kind of boundaries. i think TYY is only written like this for the sake of the plot otherwise her character would likely have had your response in those situations :-)

Imo TYY is simply putting up boundaries for the girl (aka giving her an education) and told her BF to do the same. I don't think once has she taken on the role of a rescuer for the girl or her boyfriend. To her boyfriend she's been like "you need to sort this sh*t out", and to the girl "do stupid things and you'll find out your actions have consequences!".

TYY is the most headstrong person in the series - she does what she wants when she wants and no one (especially KJ) has any say over that. - Ep 15 she further cements how true this is haha

As of episode 15 the FL and ML are getting closer. She just told him she wants to have work boundaries with him but it's now pretty clear the direction the show will take. I dare say she will break up with her current BF next episode.

EP 14 spoilers: ok ok ok ML being totally supportive of FL and i'm all for it! beautiful dynamic until the car ride ended and then he went and put his foot in it by doing too much inviting her to the bar one day to tell him about his past! and she full rejected it hahaha we know he wants her to know the real him but it was too eager and premature! hahah i love it. the funny thing is that he had the opportunity to tell her what happened over dinner but he was being mr. cool aand said he didn't need to correct her version of the story DESPITE HIM TOTALLY WANTING TO TELL HER lolololol

as for Fang Wei'An he is trying his best ,but my word he has a crazy as bat sh*t sister-in law. like next level mentally twisted. cliff-hanger ending. very intrigued as to what is to come.

yes its my favourite drama because the ML and FL are always good to each other and there is no miscommunication/misunderstandings between them.

no there are a few other "magical" things that happen, like how one can control their Qi/energy to make a copy of writing on a piece of paper behind it. There is also a scene where the ML and FL are learning new martial arts techniques and water flows in a kind of a sphere shape around them . And also a few healing scenes just like the first one you mentioned where they use energy to heal.

it looks painfully like Xiao Yun and Xiao Yue (FL new assistant) are going to be a thing. He's a nice guy supporting her but I'd rather the show didn't go in that direction. That girl needs to stay alone for a while haha

They never explained what happened to chuchu's brother. I always guessed he died but it was left unanswered, like the writers forgot about him.

I don't recall them ever fighting so I'm curious why you think he is stronger than her? he is very cunning and a great strategist so he can win battles from that perspective but as for strength, I don't believe we are shown she is any less strong than he is.
