ah I see. thanks for explaining. I would hardly say Kong missed out by not being with Kelvin though haha but yes could have been a different couple on the island if some things happened differently. any Kelvin stans I wouldn't be taking seriously. who has time to put other people down honestly.

haha i loved the sound effects when they took off from the blocks! yeah Vinson moving the block was super impressive yet he hasn't read the writing on the wall since the beginning: Xiaxia liked Pan and no other guy since. Jerry is equally clueless but adds a funny element to the island.

Ma falling and Su taking that step to make sure he won was 100% a dagger in the heart to TianLu. He is going to have to write a "my broken heart" song with Vinson haha

Ok the reason I stopped shipping Pan and HuiHui is because she has given me a bit of a fake vibe (like Yanyan). Pan handled her being upset with their different answers really well and was really mature, while she (if not on the island) would have thrown in the towel. You are right that it is like a campus romance - I just for some reason feel HuiHui is more about the island romance than a long term relationship (might be wrong of course).

Puwang - Kelvin is not my cup of tea and Pu is all for the camera haha Pu and Shuo i could have shipped fr.

I'm really amazed with how they make this show entertaining with the most mundane and menial tasks. Ep 13 they are simply picking a competition partner but they made it damn gripping! I was on the edge of my seat on who XiaXia would pick and if SuSu would pick Ma.

Personally I'm over Huihui x Xiao Pan, Yanyan x Kevin and love how they have given so much more focus to the other people on the island. I know that is just a personal preference and I'm benefiting from their shift in focus, but it's been such entertaining TV. I'm loving every minute of this series.

I read it all, its fine. I mean what you say could be true. No objections. I don't know if you are up to recent episodes but all that stuff is so far in the past and its all about Tao x Autumn, Ma x SuSu and Vinson still longing after XiaXia. Kongkong is really just a side character now, I'm surprised what you've talked about is still a topic of discussion since the show has moved on (like the nature of life).

while he isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, the story carries well and i loved the series overall despite the areas he lacked. the story made up for his cringiness imo

him voting for his rival was the coolest thing ive seen the whole show. loved that moment so much ❤️ but yeah he's shown a lot of character throughout the whole show but that really was the cherry on top for me! such a boss move! 😄

Its just a different numbering of the episodes. On youku each episode has two parts and they say Episode 5 part 1 and part 2, while on mydramalist those two episodes would be episodes 9 and 10.

Ok after watching episode 12 Ma and Tao are my two favourite people by far. Tao and Autumn's banter is the most entertaining because Autumn never says what she means but Tao is so smart and still doesn't let him discourage him. Those two together bring me to a happy place.

Agreed - I wasn't expecting HuiHui & PanPan to have conflict from the challenge - but I found it very accurate of the getting to know you stage in life. Chemistry is one thing, but then you get to know someone's mindset, which can change everything.

What's crazy is that I totally see Ma having a relationship with SuSu (XueFei) because she is pursuing him. I can see him going with the flow and dating her. Still haven't worked out how much of Ma is actually dopey or if he is playing dumb. Asking 'who is Autumn' at the elimination might show how much he plays into pretending to be stupid. If it is an act, SuSu will get to the bottom of it.

so episode 10 was my favourite yet. so well produced. a lot of emotions in the first part when people left and then some great questions in the group challenge that got each person get to know each other better. very very impressed with the show's production
