The early episodes were filled with some serious moments and really well complimented with funny moments. Even the criminals showed emotions, were caught off guard, felt like they were humans too and didn't feel "untouchable". Great overall
Apart from the people at the higher positions, the characters who were shown as "evil" initially all had really good character depth. They all had their own reasons to fight and backstory which was shown well. They were following the orders from top but they had struggles emotionally to complete the order. Relationships between the "evil" characters were well done with the flashbacks. It all felt very natural. Unlike many dramas where couple of episodes would be forced because everything is revealed already, this one had good use of backstory and used the backstories as a build up to the final few episodes.
The character depth and struggles of the students however was not shown/emphasized well enough in my opinion. Also the ending was full of action but it kind of felt underwhelming given they spent around 8 episodes to build it up with amazing backstories.
If there was more emphasis on: Weight of emotions Bong Seok had felt being protected by his mom all the time and guilt Huisu felt that she caused her dad problems because of her actions, along with good ending episodes it would definitely be 10/10 for me
It has been years since I last binge watched anything. This is one of the best dramas I have ever watched. 10/10 drama. will 100% recommend if you want to be a better human being.
The camera works during the fights and the visualization of possibilities was really well done. Really creative!
Some confusions with who the real father of Jae Yeong is. Chairman cha did say that the father was a simple man but I felt like it was a cover for someone. They did mention that the chairman and Hee Sung fell out at one point and Bok Soon and Hee Sung were having sex. Felt like they were close and it did seem that she cared about Hee Sung so it could explain everything if Hee Sung was the father
