I totally get you, especially since I’ve been through the same thing with both The On1y One and Stay with Me. But hear me out! We still don’t have an official announcement for a second season, but things are looking much more promising, everything suggests it’s just a matter of time. As you’ve probably noticed, this wasn’t a simple cliffhanger, it was a full setup for a continuation. Just today the guys did a livestream and again mentioned that we’ll get a second season. They also bring it up quite often in magazine interviews. Anyway, I don’t want to mislead you since, like I said, there’s no official season 2 announcement yet, I just wanted to share this with you because I’ve been following the actors as closely as I can and there’s a lot of hope 😊

I haven't had much time these days, but I think I'll start with Ant's Cry tonight or tomorrow and then move on to Winner Takes All, which already intrigued me just from the title!
I'm glad to hear Ant's Cry is so good. To be honest, when I saw that it's a historical military story, I hesitated a bit since that's usually not my thing. But the writing sounds really strong, and that plays a huge role in whether a story wins me over.

Oh, I almost forgot. And then there was the Thailand trip. Obviously none of us know what was discussed behind closed doors, but the boys meeting with people from Be On Cloud definitely caught fans' attention. On its own it does not confirm anything, but when you combine it with all the Season 2 comments, the director's hints, and the way everyone involved keeps talking about the future of the project, it starts to feel like there may be more going on behind the scenes than we know.

I completely understand 😭 I still have anxiety about it too, but I think there are a few reasons to feel more hopeful than usual.

For me, it's not just that the actors want a second season. We've also had hints from the director, and the cast keeps bringing up Season 2 instead of treating the project like it's over. Usually when a continuation is completely off the table, people tend to avoid the subject altogether But the boys keep bringing up Season 2 in their livestreams and magazine interviews. They do not just say, "We hope for a second season." They say things like, "After filming the second season," or, "We'll work hard to do even better in the second season."
The way they talk about it makes it sound less like a wish and more like something they genuinely expect to happen.

There's also the fact that the story is nowhere near finished. They adapted only a small portion of the novel, and the ending was clearly set up in a way that feels like there was always an intention to continue.

Of course, none of this guarantees anything, and I won't fully relax until we get an official announcement 😅 But compared to some of my previous favorite shows that got stuck in complete radio silence, Sammy's still feels very much alive. That's why I'm trying to stay positive 💛

Honestly, that would be the dream! Though I'd rather have two seasons in total instead of three, with Season 2 getting 20 episodes 😅 I'd even settle for 16 since that's a more standard episode count, but I refuse to accept anything less!
I'm kidding of course, for now I'm going to try not to get my hopes up too much and patiently wait for the Season 2 announcement, no matter how much of the story they manage to cover. We can wish hard as you said or
we can start praying and also light candles at temples or churches, whatever each of us has access to 😂

If we assume they eventually make a second season with the same number of episodes as in season 1, and not at least 20 more episodes, then the second season still wouldn’t be enough to cover the whole story. We would probably need a third season as well 😅
But yes, I used to have the same question. I think they will find a way, though. They will definitely change or cut some scenes (as they already did in the first season), especially the ones that require a really big budget, but I still think it’s doable.
What would be really sad is if we don’t get to see the continuation of this beautiful story on screen at all.

I can’t relate to the people who say that reading the novel helps with the withdrawal. Honestly, I think reading the novel only makes you appreciate even more how incredibly well the series has been adapted, and it makes you want to see the rest of the story on screen even more.
And as for the boys, that goes without saying. Reading the novel makes you appreciate them even more for how perfectly they’ve managed to bring these characters to life.

Yeah I get what you mean about that video, it really does give a bit of season 2 vibes and it feels like something they might post to keep the hype going.
But it still doesn’t really mean anything is confirmed. It could just be promo or fan engagement content, not an actual sign that a second season is happening. I don't know what to believe. Well, I do think they're trying to build momentum. Social media activity and promotions can help keep interest alive and support future plans. But realistically, a lot still depends on production decisions, funding, and official approval, not just how active the actors are online.
