Maybe tomorrow on GagaOOlala, but definitely on Saturday with two episodes on Viki. It's gonna be pretty toxic, with one of the biggest black flags I've ever read, just so you know 😉

I think we'll get them after the concert, to be honest. That makes more sense to me. But as you said, this wait is driving us crazy! I just wish they'd at least give us a date.

That’s such a shame! Although I think you can still make subtitles in your own language even if the series hasn’t been officially licensed in your country. At least I’ve done Greek subtitles myself for both series and movies even when they didn’t have distribution rights in my country. You could try asking the channel manager. Personally, lately I mostly translate BLs.

Unfortunately, international fans don’t really have any other way to support the series. I watched it on Viki and also checked out a few episodes on GagaOOLala, but the subtitles on Viki are far better by comparison.

It’s only 5 to 6 dollars a month, so for a few months at least it’s worth it. I’ve been a volunteer subtitle translator on Viki for years, so I don’t pay for a subscription there. I actually had the honor of making the Greek subtitles for this series too, which is probably one more reason why I loved it so much. And GagaOOLala is the only platform dedicated exclusively to LGBTQ series and movies, so as a fan of the genre it’s probably the only subscription I genuinely enjoy paying for.

Yeah, I know I can also subscribe to their YouTube channel to watch the episodes, the BTS content, and other related clips. I was just wondering whether subscribing there helps the show's popularity more directly. If it does, I might actually consider it! Not that my single subscription alone would make a second season happen, but I’m desperate enough to pay for that too 😅

Yeah, pretty much. They've hinted at a possible season 2, but nothing is confirmed yet. Hopefully, if we keep supporting them and the series, we might get one.

At the beginning of the series, Liu Yi is 24 and Chusan 21. By the end are 26 and 23.

You haven't seen a single comment about the dubbing? Everyone's complaining about it! And it's not that bad if you consider that it's dubbed in another language. Still, you get used to it very quickly, cause the story is sooo good. It would be a shame not to give it a chance just because of that.

I completely understand how you feel. It is just that this uncertainty about whether there will be a continuation really hurts, and we have been through it before with other equally great series like Stay With Me and The On1y One. I do not mind waiting for a second season, even if it takes a long time. What I cannot stand is not knowing whether there will be one at all. That feeling of being left hanging is what hurts the most.
I wish I could just stop hoping, but like I said, I cannot. So let us hope that this time things will be different, that the series will gain even more hype and that sponsors will come through for a second season.

I went through the exact opposite. I didn’t expect to love it, I just wanted something enjoyable to pass the time. But after episode 2, I became so obsessed with the story that I decided to read the novel. And that was it… I fell in love with the novel, their story, the characters, the series, the actors, everything. I became completely obsessed.
Having read the novel and seeing how the episodes were unfolding, I knew we were heading for an open ending. And even though I thought I had prepared myself, that once again one of my favorite series would be left hanging without a proper conclusion… here I am again, hurting and still hoping.
In conclusion, I envy you, because I couldn't protect my heart 😞
