Yeah, I hear you. On one hand, we can’t wait for the next episode, but on the other, we only have three episodes left 😞 Lately, I just can’t seem to get into anything other than BL, and I don’t even know why 😅 And as if that wasn’t enough, for the past few months I’ve been reading one danmei after another. By the way, this danmei, Chusan’s Children’s Day, is one of the best I’ve ever read and I’ve read a lot! I really love the series so far, but the novel is on a whole other level!
Dubbing is good its just not matching because actors speaking mandarin and they have low budget and have to show…
That’s true! I have to admit it felt a bit off to me at first too, but once I found out it’s because they’re basically speaking a different language, I realized they’ve actually done a really good job. And it seems like the dub works especially well for the second couple who speak Cantonese. You can barely tell there.

Haha, yeah, it’s been a while since we got a really good BL from Taiwan. But I’m enjoying shouting stars so far, each episode just keeps getting better. Episode 4 was super sweet, and the boys are slowly starting to open up and grow closer. That said, I’m currently completely obsessed with this series, Sammy’s CD, so I feel like I’m not appreciating anything else as much as I probably should. Unfortunately, that always happens to me when I get hooked on a story 😞

Unknown was such a gem for me, it’s easily in my top five BLs overall, and it’ll be hard for anything to top it. But I really hope I end up loving this one just as much, maybe even enough for it to match it. Either way, you’ve convinced me, I’ll start it as soon as I get the chance!
I kinda wish they went exactly like the novel... the novel was pretty dark and toxic. I think they would have…
Chusan is honestly one of the most interesting characters I’ve ever come across. I love how he’s so sweet, but at the same time such a sly little fox in the novel. And he's always so horny 🤭

I’d also love to see a faithful adaptation of the novel. I really love the series so far, but the novel was on another level. I actually started rereading it because I enjoyed it that much. That said, I don’t mind the differences between the series and the novel all that much, since they’ve done an excellent job here as well. The only thing that worries me is the possibility that they’ll leave it unfinished with the expectation of a second season. And from the way things are going so far, it seems like that’s where it’s heading…

Aw, I loved My Tooth Your Love too! I’ll definitely give it a watch then! And if you enjoyed those, you should check out this ongoing Taiwanese BL, Wishing Upon the Shooting Stars, it’s from the same director and looks really promising.

I’m not really into Korean or Thai BLs in general, so if you’ve got some good older ones to recommend, I’m all ears, since it seems like we have similar taste 🙂

I would have gone with love in the big city, but I think it's more of a queer series than a bl. And I would surely add eighth sense, now that I'm thinking about it I can't decide between that and Love for love's sake 😅
I love everything about To My Shore and I still can’t get over it even though it’s been more than three months…
It really does feel like it’s been ages! I think those of us who watched it while it was still ongoing were way more affected, having to wait every week to see what that little devil would do next. I’m not someone who cries easily either, but these boys had me crying in almost every episode, especially from episode 7 onwards. I honestly can’t even say which episode made me cry the most, the emotions and the angst just kept building with each episode for completely different reasons. And now that we’re talking about it, I miss my boys even more! Even though I still keep up with them on social media, it’s not the same. I’ll be really sad if I don’t see these two move forward and get the recognition they deserve, it honestly feels like they’ve earned it so much. And the special is taking so long that it’s starting to make me worried 😞

I feel this so much. I was honestly not okay while it was airing, like every episode had me overthinking everything and getting way too attached. There were moments where I just sat there after it ended, completely drained, because it felt so real and so personal. I got so deep into their heads that it actually hurt watching them go through everything, but at the same time I couldn’t look away. It’s one of those shows that just grabs you emotionally and never really lets you go, and that’s exactly why I love it so much.
Is there any official announcement for second season? I honestly don't want to get my hopes up for nothing 😭
Ι wish I could support them more, but since I’m from Europe, there’s not much I can do except watch their show on legal platforms, which I already do, of course. We’ll see, but I hope for the best for our boys nevertheless 💛

Thanks for your reply ☺️ I know they mentioned it during their live, but still… I really hope it’s true, of course, no question about that, but personally I don’t believe anything unless there’s an official announcement from the production. Maybe not even then, considering what happened with The On1y One 😞
They met in 1989, in episode 6 they should be around 1991-92.
I might be wrong though, since the timeline in the series is quite different from the novel. I’m just guessing it’s around that time since Chusan has already started working at a company. You're right, it’s confusing.
