as a fellow Mike and Toptap fan i say... just watch their scenes. their storyline, while also somehow problematic and kinda censored (no kiss which is odd since they did have some kiss scenes in 2gether iirc) is enjoyable/ sometimes funny/ and they are simply good together. dont waste your time on the main plot though, it's not worth it
i'm only at episode 3 but oh my god. tonhon is so awful??? how this man has /any/ friends is beyond me. i thought that my most hated main bl lead will be Khai (ToL) but so far it seems like even Khai has more redeeming qualitees than Tonhon :O

undeniably, this drama has many flaws but i had a good time watching it! i wish the drama could be one or two episodes longer as it felt like the ending was rather hurried and some loose ends (though not that important) were not properly tied. anyways, i will keep hoping for another drama with JJY and ZZH as main leads. they are just so good together hahhahah ♥

Haha its the other way around in Ruyi Pav - Fu Rong appears rather childish/gullible with random sparks of brilliance. But yeah, she is just another silly cdrama female lead. Male lead is almost the same in both dramas, but somehow, it feels like he loves FL much more in ruyi pav. Overall, its again the amazing chemistry between JJUJingyi and Zhang Zhehan that makes this drama so good. If you keep your expectations for the drama low, you wont be disappointed :)

If you thought Yun Xi was a moron, you will think this FL is downright an idiot... Yun Xi was smart, Fu Rong is just a childish fool... i loved FLs in both of these dramas, though
