if you cant access iq.com, it is also on official iQiyi youtube channel (the videos are region blocked for following countries: Vietnam, Malaysia, Canada, United States, Taiwan). it gets released a week later on youtube than it is on iq.com
Anyways, can anyone recommend me a drama where female lead is not primary wife of male lead? the upcoming storyline with Fu Rong being second wife has me intrigued and i want to watch another drama with this as part of the plot :O

i dont really know. some articles i read said it was to improve quality of the dramas since many long dramas have lot of filler scenes with episodes where nothing happen. but who knows... maybe some chinese officials were salty because some 40+ episode drama was too succesful for their liking ://

it's true that the 48 episode count wasnt really confirmed but 48 episodes is the usual count these shows used to have... considering that the shooting of the drama wrapped up in early january and the 40-episode law was made in late february (though it was already talked about since september 2019) its quite possible that the drama had to be cut down because of it

i dare to say i even like her make up. though admittedly, i can see why the red-ish eyeshadow might be a bit too much for someone else. the lip tint is really pretty imo. i guess her current make up is purposefuly rosy to make her look younger and more reckless/energic while when you see her in "future" scenes, she is a bit more rafined make-up wise. i agree with the dresses... some of the designs she wears got me like ??? compared with costumes other characters wear

uuuhhh perhaps like.. information from first 6 or 10 episodes or so? just a short one so people dont have to really dig around in their brain to figure out who is who :D eg. "Fu Xuan - Fu Rongs older (?) sister, likes painting" (like... i know who the leads are but when it comes to side characters like Qi Zhu or Cui Wan im like ???) either way, thank you for your hard work ♥
