why is the subbing so slow??
yea lmao, i totally understand you, i also suuper love this show and i cant wait for subs but I know how hard subbing is and many people dont realize the reasons behind it taking so long so i like.. had to inform you about the facts, sorry if i sounded too harsh

why is the subbing so slow??
please be patient. this series is apparently not licensed by any site that does official translation so fans are translating subs. even worse, it seems like firstly it gets translated to indonesian (?) and then indonesian fans traslate it into english. subtitling is very time consuming and harder than you would think so.. yeah.. be patient. it is real life people who make those subtitles, for free and in their free time

Can anyone explain me why Tae Woon had to move, because at first i thought his father went to jail and he wanted…
i guess after police stuff with geumdo school got resolved (and he was not intercepted) his father decided to 'reform' himself and you know.. come to the right way of life and he bought that rural school in the middle of nowhere (hence the 'only busses go there, im sorry eun ho') and started (according to subtitles) teaching there. and tae woon being his only family and all wanted to be close to his (now father of the year nominee) father

I really enjoyed watching this drama - the romance was super cute (main characters had insane chemistry), story was interesting, acting was imo great and overall i woud say it was one of the best kdramas of summer 2017.

Unfortunately, after finishing it, i feel like there were quite some unresolved (or very lazily resolved) storylines of almost all side-chracters and that the drama had more potential. I know that real life doesnt always give you an ending but this is drama and i feel like we've been left hanging with stories/backstories of wayy to many people such as: that rich smart boy who abused his ex-girlfriend, yoo bit na (and the crew of rich kids overall), the idol boy (honestly why he even was in the drama. he was super expendable for the story), some of the teachers, the gang of bullying girls, to some extend even the friendship of class president and tae woon (srsly, after the 'dead friend' storyarc i was expecting something more) and living situation/family issues of class president. Moreover - character changes happened way too fast - one moment is tae woons father cold and calculating and the next thing you know it he is all reformed nice father and bought a school somewhere else. Same goes for Bo ras character to some extend.

I feel like writers halfway through realized they dont have enough time to finish like... everything except the storyline of main characters which is a pity...

But overall i think it is really great school drama (and im surprised how fast i got over those 'eww main actors are way too old to play highschoolers! wtf!!!' thoughts :D. by the episode 6 i was like 'thats exactly how highschoolers look. im 100% sure'. lmao)

Wait, what happened to Park Hye Soo??? I didn't know this already started, can't wait to watch it.
@happymess i completely agree with you. however, the thing is - the drama is aired on small cable channel and while we - international fans/MDL community - love it, the first season had small viewer ratings. The second season is more popular it seems (in terms of ratings). Swing kids (the movie she dropped the drama) has not only Do Kyungsoo, it is also directed by Kang Hyungchul who makes really good movies (Sunny, Scandal Makers, Tazza) so it makes sense to me. I feel like she will get the proper public exposure every actor/actress longs for and she will show her talent.. hopefully :D

(that said, i was not thrilled to see her leave the drama. her character was very dear for me and although they are replacing only an actress not a character, it still changes that little /something/)

Wait, what happened to Park Hye Soo??? I didn't know this already started, can't wait to watch it.
just as @exe said - she got casted as a main character in a movie alongside Do Kyungsoo which is a huge opportunity for her bcs lets be honest, we already know the movie is going to make a bank

the biggest train wreck i have watched is thai BL drama Make It Right. like... i dont have a single thing that i liked but still i nearly binge-watched it. acting was terrible, writing was absurd, product placement got more screen time than side-characters, the humor was disgusting... it was like a horrible train-wreck which i couldnt stop watching.

Does anyone know why episodes 1-3 are clear but any after that are just filmed by someone in the cinemas ?
(my info might be incorrect but here is what I have gathered:) First 3 episodes were leaked and with chinas laws against 'promoting' homosexuality (among other things) the drama cannot be aired on TV/the internet how it was supposed to be. However, it seems like it can be shown during screenings and thats how we get all those potato-quality cinema footage.
There is uncertainity about whether we will ever get HD quality but maybe it could be sold to Taiwan (though that is not probable.. i think it might have some political implications for makers of the show) or it could get 'accidentally leaked' after all public screenings

Let's say this show were to have a season 3. What are they going to do about Eun Jae then? Would the original…
I mean... it is not really usual for kdramas to have second (or third) seasons and after all casting issues this season had i think it is safe to say that if this show were to have season 3, they would find totally different cast :D. Anyways, maybe is this season /so/ good that we wont even complain that much about recast? Only time will tell :D
On Hello, My Twenties! Season 2 Aug 16, 2017
lmao this show is cursed. so many casting issues... I think it is a good thing they dropped Onew. First season was really great but it had low viewing rating. I feel like having an idol actor with such controversy would damage this drama more than finding someone else to recast his role (not to mention that male characters dont really get that much space in this drama so maybe it is easy to reshoot few scenes)

what do you think, is this going to be a copy of the original (veeery similar characters and stories) or it is just inspired?

Question? Is this a series or movie broken down in sections of three parts ?
Its a drama series but with chinas new laws about not portraying homosexuality in media it didnt get fully aired yet. First 3 episodes were leaked (?) and apparently there are public airings in some cities but we are still unsure what future holds for this series...

Is there a lot of romance in this drama?
I think that 4 out of 5 girls get their relationship storyline. Some of the relationships are cute, some are problematic. Imo there is a good amount of romance but it is not the only focus of the story

this song is a real mystery for me as well. i thought it was like.. the second main song of the drama right after Amen by Damiano but it's not even released as a part of its OST

Sooo...not sure if I'm misunderstanding a bunch of things or if show is poorly written or what. But could…
Okay so, these are just my assumptions/conclusions as I dont really watch it /analytically/ and i just enjoy the drama:
1) I actually think that Tae Woon is not the one who Eun Ho caught in the teachers room that night. Remember that 'secret society' that we get glimpses of chatting in a library? Maybe they are some elite study group, but for now I think they might have something to do with it and Tae Woon might be just some lone warriror who decided to help eun ho later on maybe because he has ~feelings~ for her? Uncovering the indentity of X seems too soon when you consider the drama barely begun so maybe there will be another catch in it

2) Adults are continuously shown as a caricature of themselves in the drama so there is a possibility that the only ones who are crazy enough to force some kind of blood tests (such as principal) were dumb and didnt notice them. The only (?) adult we know that has noticed is the young policewoman who seems to be on a 'students' side' rather than on principals side. My other thought is that it's just a school related problem connected with some rowdy kid and therefore it would be completely absurd to include /blood tests/ for such thing. It's not a crime investigation drama, it is a drama about small-scale injustice in school and blood tests are actually costly (and they take time..)

3) In this point I completely agree with @Kdramaaddict wrote. Dae Hwi and Tae Woon had obviously strong feelings for their friend and just cannot deal with the loss so DH keeps blaming TW and TW keeps being angry at DH without actually ever talking about what happened and .. idk.. Dont forget they are like.. 17 year olds who just dont know how to handle a loss of loved person and have bunch of other responsibilities they have to take care of and still are expected to ace in school

4) again, i think there is something bigger going on and it's not just TW. In my theory he got involved to help Eun Ho because he likes her.

5) Dae Hwis family has obviously some issues and his mom seems not very stable. I think it will be explored more later on

Dont forget there are only 4 episodes out so maybe these questions are supposed to be unanswered and the story will focus/explain them later :D
