I really want to watch this drama but the more or less 'Rape' scene really puts me off. I have seen…
I was also really scared of watching this drama because i heard it is quite violent. However, there was no rape scene, only two or three forced kisses (which is not okay but you know.. its not a rape). overall, i think it is worth of watching, the series is not too long and as long as you are aware of the fact that the relationship in this drama is not 100% healthy and you are willing to try such drama you will be okay. imo it is one of the more interesting bl dramas i have seen so far
as for some recommendation: You totally have to watch Sotus. It is the best bl series out there - good acting, production /and/ story, and if you feel like watching something fluffy, watch 2 Moons. It is kinda adorable but at the same time the acting is terrible :D
you know... i didnt like the drama that much but in the end i decided to finish it instead of dropping it because i was kinda anticipating the ending which i thought will be worth it. it wasnt.,
I wasnt much impressed with first two episodes but for some reason i'm excited to see eps. 3 and 4. i guess im just really hoping the writing of the drama will get much better.
anyways, its monday soon and im ready! :D
i have always been shying away from historical dramas because i thought i will not like it but i tried this one and i must say i looved it!
i think moon lovers is a perfect first historical drama for anyone who wants to try this genre. it totally opened me to new kinds of dramas and i cant wait to watch more historical dramas :)
they should add Five Children to the list! she was Kim Sang Min's mother

WARNING to everyone who is thinking of watching this: Two of main characters are being physically abused and thats why they are running away. If you are triggered by woman abuse i think you shouldnt watch it. Moreover, the abuse is not really adressed so you will either be a) triggered or b) angry because this part of story was not resolved much.
Anyways, the friendship between the main characters was cute....
SSK is a one-tone actress... Hate her in blade man. She's okay in Sensory couple. She's the Kristen…
in time when many actors give so much effort to do extensive research so they look believable as whatever they are supposed to act as it is quite shocking she performed this badly. on the other side, it is partly also fault of a writer who wrote such horrible psychiatrist and director who let some of SSK's mistakes go through

"She's the Kristen Stewart of Korea." I lol'ed so hard on this :DD
Honestly i cannot believe SSK managed to land this role. I think all other main actors are pretty solid (i cant wait to see Gong Myung and Krystal tbh) but SSK is killing the vibe.. just like she would kill that guy if she had performed CPR like this. This is probably writers fault but her 'doctoring' skills are super bad. no wonder no one visits her practice because with attitude like this she must be unhelpful :'D
I'm planning to watch this, but why is the rating so low?? To the people who are watching it(seen the first…
i dont like to judge the drama until i've seen at least 4 episodes so so far i'll just say that it started off slowly (but not necessarily badly) and shin se kyung's acting isnt that good (but it is still bearable)
i think people are in general disappointed because they were expecting something different than the drama actually is so now they are impulsively giving 'low' ratings to show their distaste. try it yourself or wait 2 more weeks until we have more data to judge it properly :D
with the amount of hype this drama gets i was expecting something that is on par with sotus but ... I am disappointed. so far i have seen four episodes but like.. the story seems extremely forced and dialogues are stupid. i can handle some awkwardness or random situations that would never happen but when everything is like that? idk. At least it is cute but im not sure how much cuteness this drama will need for 3 seasons...It really doesnt deserve such high rating so far -_-
Also.. dont make me start on their acting lmao :DD
I can see why ppl compare this to goblin, the story is a bit similiar (God & his loyal servant). Tbh I don't…
i think that Nam Joo Hyuk is supposed to sound a little bit unnatural? Its like his voice sounds a little bit enhanced maybe to give off the ~godly~ vibe?
I agree with Shin Se Kyung though.. hopefully she will get better as her character makes some progress
Happy with the ending but feeling a little bitter cause I wanted to see the parents' reactions when they…
apparently there used to be a speculation about Jung Hwan being dead in the present time. Something about young airforce soldier dying in the aiplane crash or something like that which actuall happened in the past. I was incredibly heartbroken when i heard this theory no matter how much sense it makes q_q. I loved his character and even dying off-screen makes me sad
Im half Japanese. And I do have both Japanese and Korean friends. Not sure why you are posting this, but we believe…
In my opinion, these articles are really important. Sometimes, there isnt enough time to talk about history of the /whole/ world in school and during 20th and 21st century happened so many things that its nearly impossible to teach students everything. I'm from europe and we always skimmed what happened during WW2 outside our region not due to ignorance or racism but simply because there wasnt enough time and i feel like this happens quite often everywhere.
This site gathers many fans of korea/japan who may or may not be aware of this but who would like to learn about events that shaped whole culture and thinking of people of these countries. However, sometimes learning recent world history is pretty daunting and complicated so article like this is welcome. And connecting explanation of historical events and dramas/movies that relate to them? Seems like it fits to this page perfectly!
Incredibly slow paced drama to the point it got really boring. It wasnt actually /bad/ but it wasnt really much fun to watch either. Initially i thought it wont be this bad but in the end half of the episodes felt kinda redundant and the only actually interesting character with storyline was Chan Young. Kdrama producers should really learn to make shorter dramas ://
Unfortunately, i feel like Lee Hyun Woo didnt really fit his role. He did what he could but i just didnt see him as an interesting character. Overall though, i would say that all actors did decent job (including Joy!), considering that most of them are rookies. Visuals and music was also pretty good. The problem of this drama truly lies in the lenght of it.
