Hao Chen is in total denial state then went to wanting her back then to regret and all. He just flip flops. Terrible. I've watched a drama where the male lead flip flops and it was extremely frustrating. Goodness. I hope they dial down on the angst at times or kill off Hao Chen sooner lol.

Bai Shu who plays Teng She also sang a song as well.

He said back in the past, he should have not ignored her (XJ) heart. Now he has to go through a love tribulation/love entanglement with her in this lifetime. There must be a way to bring her back (to his side).

Xingjun typically indicate star lord/monarch. Ex: Siming’s full title is Siming Xingjun which means he is the lord of the star in charge of human fates.
In the novel SF is also another star lord. I’m guessing the drama is just going with XJ’s soul in the lamp as Mo Sha Xing. Although technically it would be called the Luo Huo part. I think Ji Du is the soul which is God of War .

I was referring to when he decided to go down to mortal realm from heavens for the 10th lifetime of XJ and Siming said going down his way will affect his body. As for the trailer I think I saw that scene so maybe in the drama she will end up damaging him even more. Was hoping for soul dispersing later lol

Maybe his body got damaged (aha) or he expended too much heavenly powers. Didn't Siming told him that going down the terrace would damage his body somehow?
