A story about love, fantasy, adventure, heaven and earth. Human, immortals and gods

Opening scene - episode 1 (commentary):In this opening scene, there are images that seem like a dream. This happens in the book. Ji Tan Yin has several near-death experiences, and we here, we see, she survives and recovers without explanation, as in the book. However, we see her searching for the bearer of the divine hand that she created herself. The introduction of Yuan Zhong is very interesting, already showing that he cannot control the power of the divine hand. And the fact that Ji Tan Yi intervened, acted, receiving the destructive impact of the divine hand, so that many people would not die (shows her character, which is compassionate). And Hannu, the voice she hears, already incriminates Yuan Zhong, as someone not worthy of using the divine hand.Episode 1 (scene 2):When Tan Yin enters the mountain, at the moment when the mortals are going to pay homage to the immortals. All this symbolism in this scene is interesting, because it explains the relationship between the immortals of the fox clan and the mortals. And everyone knelt, but since Tan Yin is a goddess (she didn't knelt) and the wind blew. She said that she communicates with the mountain. The issue of the lamp going out if it touches the ground and so she wouldn't be able to climb the mountain is interesting (these are details that improve the book and the anime).(Right at the beginning of the episode it was mentioned that the bridge between heaven and earth had been closed and that's why Tan Yin was injured in the passage between the two dimensions, this is something mentioned a lot in the book. (But here it was better explained and shown).Scene 3: The fortune-telling alchemist who got lost in the mountain of immortals. The conversation with Yuan Zhong was interesting (I think part of what he guessed was wrong, and part of what he guessed was right). About health, no. About the benefactor who will arrive, yes. (Yuan Zhong didn't seem to believe it very much.) Scene 4: Tan Yin climbs the mountain and doesn't let herself be fooled by the sinking lamp (which could prevent her from reaching the desired location), showing her skill as a craftswoman goddess. (That part was really cool). And the meeting between Yuan Zhong and Tan Yi was interesting, yes (the chemistry isn't here). At that moment, they are total strangers. Yuan Zhong is always a bit arrogant and Tan Yin is also suspicious. But YZ helping TY climb the mountain was so chic and gentlemanly. He's already a bit of a flirt and Tan Yin pulling her hand away shows that she's not an easy woman to conquer.Ahh, and again the sentence of peace and happiness in the gift of the species egg presented by Tan Yin (Yuan Zhong doesn't seem to believe this). But will this be Yuan Zhong's fate in the drama, despite it seeming otherwise?Scene 5:The entire scene in which the immortal guides the maid candidates, serving as a tour guide who explains about the important residents of each mountain, brings a perfect atmosphere of fantasy and sacredness. The setting is also carefully designed, with the little metal foxes in the environment identifying who the residents of this place of immortals are. (When Tan Yin arrives, I don't know if they expected her not to make it (and planned for someone else to arrive). But I think they were surprised.Yuan Zhong has a guarded life and a golden collar around his neck, despite being someone important. (By throwing the lucky egg in the trash, he shows his pessimism about himself. Scene 6:Yuan Zhong's life is closely monitored by his superiors, but he seems to be one step ahead of the game, expecting this kind of attitude. The moments when Tan Yin uses her goddess powers with that magical spying artifact, or talks to that celestial inhabitant who advises her. And the fact that she doesn't accept everything easily, and questions and understands each mechanical artifact with mastery makes it all very interesting to watch. The whole environment of that place around Yuan Zhong maintains the version of the story to make it seem like Yuan Zhong is a dangerous and heartless enemy. (But still, he maintains his haughty, calm look and a trace of confident arrogance. What makes him like this?Scene 7: The moment when Yuan Zhong is shown in the past, still in his spiritual fox form. He saves Tan Yin from the ice rock. The little animal dug into the ice, so Tan Yin probably woke up and managed to get out of there. And the little white fox managed to rip out and take half of a blue diamond from Tan Yin. (I know that probably, this half diamond will be the way of recognition between them. (But, then were two young people her target in this earthly world? The young man with the power of the left hand. And someone she doesn't know who saved her from the ice rock in his spiritual fox form. The whole moment when Tan Yin gets scared by the story of the tailor's ghost told by her coworkers is very interesting and funny. Her friends are very funny. And the next moment Tan Yin gets scared thinking that Yuan Zhong was a ghost. The part where he tells her that the fox tribe does not bury their dead, but turns them into ashes to integrate with nature, and have another form of life (it must have a meaning related to the scene in the trailer, where he is dressed in red and disappears like ashes). Scene 8 (End of Episode 1): The whole scene of the general being poisoned by the toxin that turns them into angry (but conscious) zombies is a sign of many enemies wanting Yuan Zhong dead. (There will be another moment like this of poisoned people wanting to attack Yuan Zhong.) And as for the things Tan Yin's friend wanted her to get. Such a suspicious look. And Tan Yin didn't accept it.And the musical closing of the episode, music and scenes of the actors, is great. And...Yuan Zhong (his arm......😶‍🌫️).

I hate these "deus ex machina" plot solutions

I finally watched the last episode. But how illogical the ending is. Three couples ended up together, but without logic, without explanation. How did that happen? It's not explained. The main couple (without logic). And two other couples. A second couple (the girl had died, how is she there?). The third couple is even less incoherent, but... He was like in a life sentence. How did he get free, to be with her? No explanation. I hate these "deus ex machina" plot solutions, where the solution happens (without explanation, left in the air, appears out of nowhere). Anyway, that's why it took me so long to decide to watch the last episode.PS:And I have no interest whatsoever in watching the extra they created (in modern times). So far it's enough for me.

Episode 18: Is There Hope?

Will Duan Wu and Xiao Mi survive? Will Yan Zi Jing survive? There seems to be no way out as this episode ends.

About episodes 1 to 4: (pieces on a board that fit together perfectly). This is a worthy pirate story. These 4 episodes are intense. We have a true red flag here. He is sincere, sensitive and ruthless at the same time. The anti-hero seeks revenge at any cost. The heroine also seeks revenge on someone, but she dreams of freedom, independence and success. The girl with the pearl, Duan Wu, is truly different, determined, and wins over everyone around her with her courage and strength of spirit. The story of the two complements each other harmoniously. The plot is coherent, like the pieces on the board always fitting together and organizing the elements coherently. But who is Yan Zi Jing's sister? I think it is the woman who fought with Duan Wu, the pirate woman. I loved the poetry recitation scene. Does Yan Zi Jing have an illness? What illness is that? The hero/anti-hero needs to have some vulnerability, right? In addition to the emotional one that he carries with him.

Episode 5: If she dies, then that is her destiny.

Jing He and his subordinate discuss the scheme that was used to save Mei Lin and obtain the fake emblem of the Wei Bei army. Qing Yan worries about Jing He's internal wound, but he reassures him by telling him the name of the flower (you can't kill me). He tells him about the disturbance between Minister Zhang and Murong Xuan Li. The female general Luo Mei sends gifts to Jing He. There are many boxes of tonics. Even after many years, she still thinks of Jing He, the subordinate comments. Jing He asks that if General Yin comes, she inform him immediately. Luo Mei traveled all night after learning about the assassination attempt on Jing He. She didn't even drink a sip of water on the road, says the female general's subordinate. Luo Mei says that she didn't go to visit Jing He's mansion in person because she already sent the tonics (she says it in her own way, with a closed and serious expression). And that if he wants to reciprocate the gesture, he should come visit her in person. The subordinate tells her that Luo Mei always sends him gifts and Jing He never reciprocates. Why does she bother? Luo Mei receives the portrait of the beauty from Xian who tried to assassinate Jing He, but she retorts: I asked you to investigate her identity, why give me this portrait? (Could it be jealousy?). The subordinate adds that she found nothing wrong with her and that the king's decree must be right. She could not bear the insult, her pride as a woman in front of Jing He and that is why she tried to assassinate him. Luo Mei laughs (she is very brave). The subordinate says: Jing He has become so reckless, why does Miss Luo Mei still think of him? Luo Mei says that they are already partners and she would hate to see him succumb. But she thinks that he has changed and that his request for clemency for the beauty was to maintain the alliance between the two nations. Suddenly, several gift boxes arrive for Luo Mei from the crown prince to congratulate her on her arrival, but she briefly assumes that they were from Jing He to Luo Mei. Luo Mei quickly orders them to take some of the boxes she brought to repay the crown prince.Luo Mei is in her general's mansion and remembers the past when she won a fight with Jing He to get a dagger (Jing didn't believe she could beat him and didn't want her to be a soldier because she couldn't protect her there). She replied that she didn't need his protection, and she was determined and made him promise that if she beat him the dagger would be hers. And so it happened. The emperor made this promise if it happened, she could go on the expedition to Xian.Jing He at that time said: General Yin, you are excellent in martial arts. I admit defeat. However, I gave you a treasure, and later I will think about what you can give me in return.(In the present tense.) Luo Mei is practicing her martial arts and Jing He arrives to visit her. She almost hits him with the sword, but stops in time. They look at each other with a sparkle in their eyes. (She sees him standing, walking, then says: "I knew you would rise again"). Jing He says: General Yin, we haven't seen each other for many years, let's get drunk together today. But it's a pity that there's only wine, so there's nothing to entertain yourselves with, Jing He says. He says to call some dancers to liven things up. Luo Mei says, a little irritated, that there are no dancers in the general's mansion. JH says that's a pity. Luo Mei looks at him puzzled. JH says he heard that she brought a treasure from Nanyang. The red coix seed. He heard that it dispels all worries. He asks: Which is better? Wine or red coix seed? Luo Mei asks if that's why he came to the general's mansion. He asks if she's willing to give it up. She says that prolonged use can cause loss of consciousness. JH says he knew but he could tell that she was sensible. Luo Mei says that she only uses it to ease the pain but that JH wants to use it to escape reality. And that she thought JH had changed. He says that he had indeed changed. And that having a beautiful companion while serving wine is more relaxing and enjoyable than those days serving with weapons. She gets angry again and with disappointed eyes says: General, have you forgotten your great ambitions? To protect the nation? He laughs disconsolately and says that General Weibei no longer exists. Now he is the carefree Prince Jing. At that moment Luo Mei stands up silently and furious. And he turns towards the balcony drinking the wine. She says that they have lost the Wei Bei army, but there is still another army, that of Pingnan. That it is enough for him to recover his ambitions. He claims that he is a guilty man and that she is asking a criminal to lead the troops. And that he is ashamed to face the people of Qingzhou. She looks at him with determination and some fury, that Qingzhou was burned, but as long as the city still exists, it will be able to feed many people of Great Yan. That this was thanks to his efforts. In a war there are always victims, and let the defeat of the Weibei army in Qingzhou be the reparation for what happened in Qingzhou. And it is not worth sacrificing General Wei Bei again. He shakes his head no and says that her words are enlightening, but unfortunately he has had problems for several years and it is difficult to resolve them at the moment. And he came for the red coix seeds. And he hopes she can give them to him. With somewhat sad eyes she says yes, but it is the same rule, if her wins, the seed goes to him. He laughs and says: General Yin is excellent in martial arts and has already defeated all the warriors of the great Yan. I admit defeat. She then says determinedly: Then I will not give you the coix seed. Then, JH says decisively: General Yin, the time has come for you to repay me... for this dagger. She looks at Him.... Jing He leaves happy because he has the coix seed. He tells him the name of the flower (it cannot die). Then, his subordinate arrives and tells him that Minister Zhang has gone to the Wenhua Pavilion and Mei Lin too. JH mounts his horse and runs there. Mei Lin flies into the pavilion and finds Minister Zhang, and fights him. Minutes before, Zhang tells his Momai warriors to hide. But they don't know about a trap set. Archers with fire arrows hit the Momai warriors, who, as Mei Lin realizes (she had clothes soaked in phosphorus), make the fire spread faster. She fights some of them before the fire. She runs and grabs the coix seed, quickly swallows the contents of 5 seeds, the cabinet falls on top of her, and even staggering, she manages to get out from under the wooden cabinet. When she reaches the balcony, a wooden beam with fire falls on top of her, which falls right below (into the arms of Jing He), who had stopped at the door (due to his own trauma regarding the fire). At that moment, Princess Zi Gu prepares herself with a dagger given to her by her brother. She hides under the bed sheet with the dagger under her pillow, as a way to face the emperor who is coming to visit her. She does this even though the female servant warns her that it is a capital crime to hide a dagger when near the emperor. Zi Gu says it's okay, she won't let the emperor know. The emperor arrives at Zi Gu's room and finds her sitting on the bed, hidden under a blanket. She takes off the blanket, and the emperor sees a dagger under the pillow. She tries to say that she would not harm him. But he interrupts her and says that he already knows that. He shows her a flowery handkerchief and asks her if she knows what it is for. She says that she knows that it is to test the concubine's chastity on their wedding night. The emperor takes the handkerchief, and with the dagger he makes a small cut on her hand and drips the blood onto the cloth. He says that he is not interested in the concubine, but only in peace between Xiyan and Yian. And that he does not want to force her to do anything, but only for her to live in peace in the harem. And that he will return the dagger to her only when she understands this. The eunuch next to the king receives the news that the Wenhua Pavilion is on fire, and he becomes worried.Mei Lin and Jing He are in the carriage heading to the mansion. At this point, Mei Lin is hallucinating and thinks that Jing He is a tree full of various leaves that fight toxins. She sees Him as a tasty stem and tasty leaves, and she starts naming the leaves. She starts biting and smelling Jing He, thinking that he is this tree. At first, he is scared, but then he joins in the game to help her. But... the moment she calls him the master of shadows, he becomes worried. When they arrive at the mansion, He holds that weapon that looks like a small bow (a crossbow), and faces Mei Lin, who calls him master and kneels as if she saw the master. He shoots the crossbow, but she dances the martial art and manages to dodge. The two of them stop facing each other, He pointing a dagger at her. Until he realizes that she is talking to the statue right behind him. Then, she starts hallucinating seeing her father and mother. They talk about their dreams. A cake shop for her mother, her father continues to work with jade stone. Mei Lin puts the jade clip that her father gave her for her wedding, and puts it in her mother's hair. The mother complains and says it is for her wedding, but she says she will not get married, and they fight and play. The mother and father say that they will not let her husband mistreat Mei Lin. Mei Lin says that no man can stand her, because with her skills, she is the one who can mistreat her husband. Jing He looks at the scene and is a little confused. (JH is very handsome in that black outfit). She looks at Jing He and cries, says that she has no way to go back home, her family is dead. Her mother always says that home is where she finds spring flowers. She looks at Jing He's lock of hair that falls in front of his face and she thinks it is a spring flower. He gets scared and gives her a brush, saying it is a spring flower. He gives her one brush after another, until he takes her to bed with all the brushes in her hand, thinking they are flowers. And then she falls asleep. Jing He talks to the healer, who tells JH that the coix seeds will not be able to cure Mei Lin, only neutralize the disease for one year. And that the antidote is very difficult to produce with many rare plants. JH tells him to try hard to produce the antidote. And the healer tells him that even if he manages to produce the antidote, it may not be in time to save her life. Then Jing He says, that if that happens, then it is Mei Lin's fate. The crown prince is copying Buddhist scriptures in the temple, his subordinate arrives and privately tells him that the Wenrua pavilion was burned down and Minister Zhang also died, leaving only the jade ring, which Jing He's soldiers arrived too late to stop , and that now the proof that Jing He had is no longer valuable with Zhang's death. The Crown Prince says it's a shame that this pavilion full of history turned to ashes, and that he and Jing He as children stole a sword from there. And that he hopes to still be the big brother of his third brother, Jing He.YueQin and the emperor play chess, Yueqin apologizes for losing again. The Emperor says that YQ always strives to concede some moves and let the Emperor win. But YQ retorts and says that he lost due to his own inferior abilities. The emperor says that he won't have his great chess partner because he will soon be back in Xian, but there is something that won't let him sleep and that only when YQ is in Xian can this problem be solved. YQ presents the emperor with an incense prepared by himself using a recipe from a famous healer, the emperor asks him to light it immediately, and comments that he enjoyed the smell of fresh plum blossoms. The emperor praises YQ for so many skills, playing the zither, making wine, incense, calligraphy, etc., that there is nothing he can't do. But YQ says they are small skills, but thanks the emperor for the praise and asks what he wants him to do in Xian for the emperor. The emperor says he will have enough to do to keep the peace between Yian and Xiyan. YQ then asks, to further promote peace between the two peoples, that he can tutor the cultural teaching about Yan to the young peacemaking beauties (they came from less civilized places). The king allows it and says that YQ is worried about Zigu, but there is no reason as she is a symbol of peace and everything will be fine with her. And that YQ can go to a certain palace, closer to Zigu to tutor the beauties. And after the wedding ring ceremony, he can return to Xian.Qing Yan tells Jing He that the Wenhua Pavilion has been burned to the ground and the bodies are unrecognizable. Mei Lin wakes up with the brushes in her hands and is happy to look at her arms (she thinks she is cured). Jing He enters the room and asks what she saw in Wenhua Pavilion. She says that he saw the shadow master, and that he said that Jing He discovered that he was involved in the Qingzhou massacre, and so he asked all Momai warriors to stop their actions. Jing He asks if who she saw was a middle-aged man with a scar on his eyebrow. She says yes, and Jing He informs her that he is war minister Zhang Yin. Mei Lin then concludes: Zhang Yi is the real culprit for the fire. And that he didn't die in Wenhua Pavilion. And all the Momai warriors wore clothes coated in phosphorus, which caused the fire to spread quickly through their bodies. And obviously they were silenced. Mei Lin asks: Is the person responsible for the Wenhua Pavilion fire also responsible for the Qingzhou fire? Jing He says he is also investigating this. She asks why Zhang Yin burned down Qingzhou? Jing He says that after the battle of Qingzhou, he relieved him of his position. And that ZY has held a grudge ever since. Mei Lin got angry and reasoned: If he wanted to kill him, he could send many momai warriors, like me. Why did he sacrifice 100,000 innocent Qingzhou people? Jing He also irritated says: he also wants to know the reason. And he says he can try to kill him if he wants. So why were the soldiers of the Weibei army sacrificed?PS:Something I don't understand: Yueqin and ZiGu's kingdom of Xian is nothing like the two make it out to be in court. (We know that this brotherhood and filial love doesn't exist, but at every turn that's what Yue Qin and ZiGu make it out to be all the time. But that's unrealistic.)

Episode 4: These flowers are not immortal, in the first storm they will be crushed.

Yue Qin and his efforts to intercede before the emperor for Mei Lin's life, or to get her out of prison. He decided to present three treasures to the emperor to act on Mei Lin's behalf. He stood for a day and a night, in the rain, sun and cold, waiting for the emperor to come and help him, but the one who came was the eunuch, the palace servant closest to the emperor, three times always with a look of disapproval. And he told YQ that the problem did not concern Xian, the emperor would always play with him again. This did not please YQ, who came up with another idea: to take a basket of degun cake, Mei Lin's favorite, on the first day, and on the second day he went there, he would also take with the sweet a potion made by the healer, which has the effect of making a person appear as if they were dead for three days. Mei Lin received the first cake and was happy to eat, determined to survive like the immortal flower that grows between the cracks in the stone floor of her cell. But on the second day, YQ's plan went wrong, as the crown prince's henchman intercepted the basket and sent an assassin in his place to eliminate ML, but she was smarter, noticed the poison and began to fight with the enemy who pressed her against the cell and almost suffocated her. But Jing He and his subordinate arrived in time and stopped the enemy's action. Jing He and Mei Lin's conversation in prison reveals that the mission of revenge is above all. Mei Lin persuaded with shrewd statements to get the prince to release her from prison, and then in exchange she would give him one of the pieces of evidence that exonerate the Weibei army (the insignia she found on the day of the fire years ago). This phrase from Mei Lin echoed at that moment: I cannot die (that is, before completing the mission of her life). She asked the prince categorically: Get me out of here.Jing He was in his office getting drunk on wine. The maid, a friend of his mother, came to advise him, reminding him that Jing He's mother had always wanted him to be happy. But he replied: "We don't deserve to be happy." He was observing the flowers that appeared in the cracks in the stones of his courtyard, and the maid said to him: If he likes these immortal flowers, he could put them in a vase. He stopped in interest when he heard the name of the flower (as if he didn't know or remember), but replied again: These flowers are not immortal, in the first storm they will be crushed. But the next moment he approached the little flower and smiled gently, touching the flower's petals, while repeating the name: immortal. But when he got up from the ground, he stepped on the flowers (was this already a warning about how the end of the drama would be???). But after the conversation with Mei Lin in prison, at the door of the imperial prison was Yue Qin who immediately realized that his plan to save Mei Lin had gone wrong. In Jing He's office, playing chess, he talked to Yue Qin. Jing He deciphered Yue Qin's intentions, which was to save Mei Lin. JH, in order to test YQ, stated that the best solution between Xian and Yan in this situation would be to execute the prisoner (at this point, Yue Qin got scared and said no). JH warned him not to interfere in these matters, remembering that YQ is a hostage prince, and that this would not help the case. The crown prince talks to his subordinate, Zhang. He orders that 300 Momai warriors be eliminated to prevent him from being exposed. Zhang would like to solve the problem involving the prince of Xian (in the murder of Mei Lin), but the CP did not agree, saying that this would only make the situation worse. Prince Jing appears before his father emperor and convinces him not to execute Mei Lin, arguing that it is better for the people to think that he is a lecher and that is why the beauty of Xian wanted to kill him. (His father says he is not a pervert as they would believe. But Jing He argues that it would not be difficult since they believe he was a general capable of executing civilians and his army. The emperor father reprimands him for many things, but Jing He remains humble before his father. The concubine Zi Gu appears before the majesty and also blames Jing He for what is happening to Mei Lin and joins the chorus that asks him to spare Mei Lin.Then, in the execution square, Mei Lin is prepared in front of everyone to be whipped, as she will be spared death, but the punishment will be flogging. The crown prince wants to take advantage of the moment to kill her and thus take away a useful pawn for his brother. The whip prepared with metal spikes would be used, but Jing He introduces himself and says that he will be the one to whip her, since he is the one who suffered the assassination attempt. He exchanges the deadly whip for one made only of leather. And when whipping her he used a pressure that prevented him from hurting her more severely (still, it would be impossible to hurt her even a little). When he finished whipping her, he approached her and said that "Even if you hate me, I cannot bear to hurt the beauty. You tried to murder me, I whipped you. We must consider our differences resolved." And Mei Lin says to him: Thank you for saving me. And in front of everyone, with her in his arms, JH says: She is mine, I decide whether she should live or die. And looking at his brother: “The Eastern Palace doesn’t need to worry about this.” Then, in front of everyone’s eyes, he goes downstairs with her in his arms. Yue Qin and the subordinate believe that JH saved her due to the conversation he had with the prince earlier. Jing He takes her to her chambers and asks for the army insignia that she promised to give him. She tells him where she hid it. And she soon asks if he knows who the real culprits are.Jing He leaves the chamber and becomes dizzy, but his aide supports him a little. JH calms him down and says: I’m fine. While taking the medicine for the heart meridian due to the effort of containing the force of the whip, he answered the aide’s question regarding the lifespan of Mei Lin (the poison that is about to collapse). But JH remembers the healer telling him about the coix seeds (which neutralizes various toxins). JH then says, “She cannot die” (i.e. the name of the immortal flower), and what she said to him just now: “That the two of them live for the dead and cannot die until the wronged people are laid to rest in peace.” Yue Qin stops in front of Mei Lin’s room door and asks his friend if he looks good, and his friend says yes. Yue Qin remembers 10 years ago when he met Mei Lin in a cave, when they were fleeing the burning of Qingzhou. She kindly wove a string into the shape of a Qingzhou insignia (a symbol that would make the soldiers at the cave door allow them to leave). Just moments ago he told his friend and helper (that he should have died in Qingzhou). But now when Mei Lin holds his hand and tells him to go forward, that the road will get brighter ahead, he feels hopeful and has never forgotten that moment. Back in the present, Yue Qin enters the room and talks to Mei Lin, telling her that he can never repay the favor she did him years ago. He says that when he fled Qingzhou, the kingdom of Xian abandoned him and if it weren't for her, he wouldn't be here today. But Mei Lin retorts by saying that he saved himself. She explains that he was repaying the favor he did her by freeing all the servants of Qingzhou and she and her family were among them. Yue Qin tells her that she gave him a reason to survive. He takes the opportunity to give her some advice: the prince of Xian is dangerous, it wouldn't be so easy to carry out the revenge plan. But she says that she just wants to live well. And that the denguo cakes he gave her already work as retribution. He takes the opportunity to give Her some tonics. As Yue Qin leaves, he sees Mei Lin feeling a little unwell (but he probably thought it was due to the whipping, but in fact he was referring to the poison in her body taking effect). She remembered the cox seeds at that moment.Prince Murong Xuan Li is feeding his dangerous eagle. Minister Zhang arrives and informs him that he has already eliminated the 300 Momai warriors. Minister Zhang uses cunning and says that he can even die with the death penalty for the crimes he committed, but Prince Xuan Li should worry about Prince JH, because if he clears his name and becomes a general again, he would soon also resume the title of crown prince. Zhang leaves, and Xuan Li tells his other subordinate to eliminate the 300 Momai soldiers (who Zhang probably kept alive). The episode ends with Prince Xuan Li's joy upon learning that the female general Luo Mei has just arrived. The last scene is Luo Mei looking like a great heroine, dressed in her armor, coming at a run on her horse to Yan.PS:A question: Don't the Momai warriors belong to the shadow army? Who is the leader after all? Are there two factions? And one belongs to JH and the other to Xuan Li?Some of them are used in assassination attempts on JH. But among the other part would be Mei Lin trained by Jing He? (Why did Jing He tell Mei Lin that she was abandoned by the shadow army? And she told him that he should worry because the shadow army would not give up on killing him. (This part of the plot is a bit confusing).unbeliebubble Don't the Momai warriors belong to the shadow army? No, Mei Lin was trained by "The Shadow works Faction" for the planned revenge. However, to frame war Minister Zhang YIn and the momai army. Prince Jing poisoned Mei Lin with Momai poison. So as to mimic the way Momai warriors operate. So that, when Mei Lin would die assassinating Prince Jing at the royal banquet. War Minister Zhang Yin would be suspected. This is why Mei Lin thought that Zhang Yin was the Master of Shadow Works.Long story short Jing He created a fake Momai army to frame Momai army. The leader of Momai army is Minister Zhang. The leader of Eastern place guards is Crown Prince MRXL.The leader od Shadow work faction in MRJHunbeliebubble "But when he got up from the ground, he stepped on the flowers (was this already a warning about how the end of the drama would be???)."To me he didn't step on the flowers but besides them. Because the flowers were still vertical and not horizontal. I saw his foot passing very near though. But the flower did not seem smashed. Am I dreaming?eliteles1 VIP I've rewatched this scene 3 times now. I think he really did step on it, but the flowers still stood firm (so...it's like the ending plot doesn't match up with it. Again, the symbolism of "survival"/"immortality" (in this life).

Episode 3: I Wouldn't Steal My Brother's Precious Things

Brothers who love each other or brothers who hate each other? Behind the words about their childhood lies years and years of intrigue? I found the bow of the rising sun. Elder brother, why did you always let me win? Now that you are the crown prince, you don't have to do this anymore. The woman in the painting means something to Jing He. In front of the mausoleum of the dead of the Wei Bei army. "I regret having shown mercy." But this time I will show no mercy. (Such a powerful army being defeated by villagers? This is explained by the army's honor of always protecting the people at any cost. That is why they fell into the ambush and died at the hands of other mortals, and the fire was their executioner.) But it was the same fire that destroyed these same people of Qingzhou City. Jing He and his soldiers with their shining armor were unable to protect them. This is an irony. And as a reward for his bravery he became an invalid with broken legs, as they always referred to him. Princess Zi Gu gives Mei Lin lucky stones. Throw them into the water and decide her choices. Mei Lin does so and makes a decision. She goes to the emperor's banquet and will kill Morong Jing He, as the master of shadows ordered her (and thus obtain the antiduct for the poison). Yue Qin recognizes Mei Lin as the girl he fell in love with at first sight when he was a teenager. At the banquet of the alliance between the two kingdoms, Xian and Yian, Mei Lin was among the beauties. At the moment when Murong Xuan Li presents herself to choose Mei Lin, Jing He gets up from his wheelchair and surprises everyone who thought he was disabled. The Momai poison was collapsing in Mei Lin's body but she found the strength to try to fulfill her mission of killing Murong Jing He. The ceremony ends with Murong Jing He lying on the ground after Mei Lin stabbed him with a hairpin. But it wasn't in a deadly place, as he later realized. The inner silk armor protected him. But Jing He, 10 years ago, underwent a painful and radical treatment to avoid becoming disabled. He kept pretending to continue with the plan to deceive his enemies. Mei Lin is chained and suffers torture at the hands of Murong Xuan Li. Jing He doesn't allow her to be killed, but he knows that she will endure the torture because she was prepared for it. Jing He watches Mei Lin's conversation with the immortal flower. He pays attention to this and reflects inwardly. His eyes at this moment seemed moved as he watched Mei Lin crawling on the dirty ground and talking to the small flowers that grew between the small holes in the stone floor.gmat6594 5 hours agoAt the beginning of ep. 3 we have Jinghe drunk painting a picture of a woman, back towards us, reaching towards a branch with blossoms. She has a dress with blue patterns and a white shawl. Someone grabs his hand and he responds, "Beauty" tries to kiss the hand. I wondered who the woman in the painting was. But 'Beauty' would indicate that it was Mei Lin and the kiss shows that by ep. 3, he had feelings for her, More than the gossip and our understanding of the character would indicate. eliteles1 VIP Great insight on your part. And isn't that the same drawing he gifted Mei Lin episodes later and she disrespectfully throws it into the river?

I love watching it as much Dongfang Yue Chu loves Hong Hong.

I watched episode 11.I love watching it as much Dongfang Yue Chu loves Hong Hong. And he is so hurt (thinking that she doesn't love him), and it's even coherent for him to think that. But he is mistaken and suffering.

Episode 6 was the best so far. I only watched 6.

Episode 6 was the best so far. I only watched 6. Dongfang likes Hong Hong although he is very subtle. Hong Hong may still see him as the boy she raised. (This episode made me feel the urgency and responsibility of the main couple for the greater good and their predisposition to make all the sacrifices. (I don't really understand this issue of cultivating love. Cultivating love to strengthen the tree. Hong Hong needs to do this but there's no way :??? I think that's where the story of this love, of the main couple, will resolve all the problems. and I loved Dongfang helps her with his pure power (I like that the story is not only about the love element, but also about brotherhood, friendship.).

There are no more misunderstandings.

Episode 20:The two timelines meet in this episode.Timeline 2:It was the majority of the episode. In short: Xue Ming tries to win back Xia Guo. He explains everything that happened at that moment in the past when he bought the engagement ring, but didn't give it to her, and was left dejected, lying on the floor looking at the jewelry box.The episode makes us see her imagine him coming again asking her to marry him, and her looking like she's going to accept. But then she wakes up, and there in her wedding party store, she sees him walking through the door and what she saw in the dream happening. But her answer is no, she says he is acting out his play, and he thought she was going to play along, but no, because time has passed. But he doesn't give up and hands over the jewelry box. And at home, when she opens the jewelry box there is the purchase receipt showing the date of purchase, way back in the day, and it is the jewelry that she looked at so intensely that day.She cries disconsolately (as if saying: I have no chance of going back). But then, I heard the door bell ring and she, with her face full of tears, opens the door and looks at Xue Ming (both of them saying nothing), but implying that they are going to have a fresh start, a new chance.Timeline 1:It was less time in this episode, but it was wonderfully enough. Yu Jian takes Xia Guo to that hotel where she thought he was cheating on her with Wen Ya, but when she got there all her family and friends had organized a wedding ceremony. And she says to Yu Yian, Yu Jian's sister, you knew everything. They dress in their wedding clothes and enter the bride and groom's path. They look at each other, and Yu Jian's statement to her begins with: “Honey... and what he says there is very beautiful, and says everything about their story.Of sacrifices, of love that is worth it. He talks about the miracles that they fought and worked to happen, because they had perseverance. And then, he says, “I love you.” She simply hugs him and kisses him ardently and affectionately. They look into each other's eyes, touch foreheads. And the entire audience responds. The parents, their baby is there. And then (in a surreal way) this drama: Lenshan's Xia Guo meets Shanghai's Xia Guo. Lenshan's says she always wanted to go to Shanghai and will go. The one from Shanghai says she will open a business in Lenshan, after all it is her hometown. The two Xia Guo congratulate each other and congratulate each other on the happiness they have found. And they say there is no better or worse choice, but the choice that will make them better people. (This is the wish of timeline 2 of Yu Jian and Xia Guo from Shanghai being fulfilled: That they would both be better people in the choice they made and be well and happy.)PS:In the audience is Wei Ya and one of Yu Jian's friends, they are a couple now and they helped Yu Jian arrange the wedding party.PS2:This ending managed (despite everything) to be surreal and very good. Simple, it managed to get the message across and close both timelines in a positive way.

Misunderstandings

Episode 19:Timeline 2:In this episode, Yu Jian and Xia Guo meet by chance on a work meeting and reminisce about the past, and what made them get here apart. She stayed in Shanghai and he stayed in Lenshan. At the last moment as they look together at the sunrise. They said:It's all destined by the will of the heavens. But they are both destined to be happy and to be better person at the choice they make. They say goodbye on this bridge after sunrise, wishing each other that they are always well and happy. One day, after this moment, Xia Guo receives a gift in the mail. It's a box full of drawings that Yu Jian has made over the years, with her face, and some with both of them. She cried as she reminisced about the past since she was a teenager. And that was the real farewell.PS:In this episode, it is shown that in the day in the past, when Yu Jian rushed out and took the taxi after breaking up with Xia Guo: moments later he asks the taxi driver to go back to the meeting point, and there he sees Xia Guo hugging Xue Min and crying. In the car, Yu Jian drives away and cries disconsolately. (This makes us wonder: both of them, that night, thought about going back on the breakup, but there was a misunderstanding, and neither of them knew that there was this moment of possible reconciliation. Not now, neither of them has revealed that intention, back in their past, two years ago.Timeline 1:In this episode, this timeline was very unhealthy, as it revolved around Xia Guo's distrust of Yu Jian (who is not very transparent) in his work encounters with Wei Ya. Although the episode doesn't show this, I believe that in the last episode Yu Jian will clarify himself. But I think the way he interacts with Wen Ya is not wise. Doesn't he know that this woman is interested in him? And in this episode I didn't see a romantic conversation between them, it seemed like something mechanical, and he didn't take into account what she might be thinking. He gave her some cosmetics as a gift, which she suspected were from Wen Ya (but she didn't say anything directly), but showed suspicion. She found the store of preserved natural flowers, which one day, Yu Jian presented her with a rose grown there. She followed Yu Jian on a business trip and found Wen Yia getting on the bus with him, who was very friendly. (No doubt in this episode), Yu Jian and Xia Guo's relationship in timeline 1 didn't seem healthy. (While in timeline 2 it was a beautiful and poetic farewell). Why don't they craft a happy story for this couple? They have everything to be happy. And why not? I didn't like that. It's very ambiguous. I hope for a better outcome in the next and final episode.
