I don't think the leads are even remotely well developed or even consistent. Well, the FL is at least consistent in her annoying behavior. I hate to hate on shows but fr...there are some hints of potential especially in ep 6 but it's like the writer got too sidetracked making the characters act goofy all the time. We are only half way so maybe it will start to improve.

I agree she's not attractive at all and I don't like her acting. She wasn't bad in Forbidden Flower where she kind of matched the exotic look and feel to the show, and she is very elegant, but her face looks like an alien. She reminds me of a female Seo In Guk.

So many people forget these are dramas not real life. They are marketed toward a female audience. Of course females want to see green flag ass-kissing MLs who protect and fawn over the FL no matter what. We imagine ourselves as these characters falling in love whether consciously or not.

It’s so hard to rate this show. The first 2/3 was so good. A 10/10 for me with their chemistry alone. Production may not have been the best but the setting and a lot of effects were still really well done. I hate that this drama gets so many automatic negative ratings because of the actress’ baby voice. But now as I feared would happen as soon as they got together, it’s lost my interest and it’s just nonsensical drama at this point.

I think it was trying to be realistic to represent what people like this might go through. I could see ghosting being an issue.

Yes, a lot. How did ML end up in the bathroom with her? What happened with the sink? The fact that she made such a big deal out of this man after through the rest of the show, tells us there was a lot we missed. The entire scene was very choppy and you could tell there were missing elements.

Yep agreed they should have cut the breakup, aside from everyone hates that trope by now it doesn't fit with their characters/relationship at all. SC said he'd never hurt her, etc. and his character would not do that, it was all just so obviously forced. They should have cut the breakup and left in the glasses cloth part so that it made sense!

Oh I agree and I've definitely noticed that before, how they'll dress a lot of FLs super frumpy etc. and they'll sometimes act annoying and all-around unappealing. Totally agree it's probably trying to appeal to the female audience believing that the ML would still fall for her.

I'm on ep 6 and still having a hard time with it. Music is bad, FL is kind of cringe, there is no plot. In Hidden Love it was all about the leads' magnetic chemistry, I'm not getting the same feeling here it's just about school and friends.

I liked it in the beginning but I'm on ep 5 now and I'm getting bored. Moved from something exciting and original to mostly political/business. I hate to say it too since she's my favorite actress, but I think the overwhelming success of Hidden Love (and whatever she went thru BTS) ruined Lusi. Not only her frailer appearance but her acting is different here, still good but feels more forced in some parts like she's trying too hard. And we know she only went downhill even more from this point. Hopefully she is on her way to recovery.

No way, I commented as First Frost was airing maybe we can all somehow manifest a third in the Hidden Love universe and it's actually happening.
