My favorite moment from this drama was when Zhou Lou experienced synchronicity with the Dead Poets Society scene; he watched the scene and then later the professor coincidentally repeated it to him and gave him a copy. So profound and moving on so many different levels. The story may not have been totally flawless but most of the writing, directing, production and acting here were masterpieces.
Thank goodness it looks like we'll finally be getting back to Zhou Luo. While this drama is so superb imo it's suffering a bit from having to fill 28 episodes. But maybe that's just because I've felt so invested in Zhou Luo and Nan Ya's dynamic.

I get that impression too, that the writer could be trying to deceive us, since they've also shown signs she could be a villain. Part of me is kinda getting a Primal Fear type vibe, where they could be trying to make us think she's an innocent abuse victim to make us sympathyze with her but she ends up actually having been evil all along as the plot twist. But I haven't read the novel. I think we need to get back to more scenes between her Zhou Luo to get a better idea of what's actually going on with her.

It's the white actors in kdramas, not all white actors. They're awful actors who no one else wants to cast but Korean directors can't tell that they're ridiculously bad bc of the language barrier so keep casting them. And as we know english is highly regarded and practiced in East Asian countries so they're not going to stop having actors show off their English skills every once in a while.

Done with episode 4 and this is just amazing, best drama of the year so far for me and the best thriller I've seen. Everything is perfect, editing, timing, directing, BGM, definitely the acting... there's something about the pacing and everything else that makes me feel like I could watch this forever no matter what's happening without getting bored. I hope it maintains this pace and perfection 🙏
