Excellent production and acting, good first few episodes, but ultimately kind of derailed. I assume that has more to do with the source material. It got very political. Still a worthwhile watch
You know people will have different tastes same like you who rated shitty dramas 10/10 and dropped dramas like…
Your favorite actor is Kim Soo Hyun, so see, just more rabid fans defending their favorite actors in spite of the fact that the drama has poor plot, pacing, and the performances aren't even that great.

Twinkling Watermelon is on the same level as QOT, ridiculously overrated from being bombarded with spam ratings by young fans who've taken over MDL ratings. The poster before you is right, huge majority of people here now rate dramas solely based on visuals and also simply in support of their favorite actors. FOE was extremely mid to me, personal preference as mostly I'm not one for thrillers/murder mysteries. Anything else?
The trailer, omg! CZY is going to deliver again, these types of roles suit his acting most, angsty and modern dramas. His acting is amazing even in just the trailer, I absolutely can't wait
Seriously idk what's happened to kdramas the last year or two, so few truly great ones and mediocre ones like this keep getting all hyped up like they're the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Breaking out the murder mystery already in episode 1?? Hmmm. With 19 more episodes to go, I'm not sure about the writing. Otherwise the first episode was just ok imo.
the fire scene was so annoying with two irrelevant characters constantly bickering and shouting that I felt like…
Yeah I find a lot of scenes in this drama annoying ngl, beyond just fluff... and I agree it's like Korean writers can hardly pull off 16 episode dramas anymore.
