I know we are all different and you need to just move on if you don't like something, but I saw so many good comments…
Yeah, same. That seems to be happening more and more to me on mdl lately. Not sure what's going on with the ratings and viewers or maybe my tastes are just changing.
I haven't read the novel and I'm barely familiar with the plot, but it seems to me that both the leads are dark and twisted (FL sabotaging the woman's dress, and the ML at the very end of episode 2 - woah. Was he fighting off intrusive sexual thoughts about the FL while she was being beaten??) I'm loving how dark and well done this is.
is this drama really that bad? 6.7 is kinda crazy. lower than the impossible heir lol
Tbh it could have been great. The leads are excellent and it otherwise had a lot of potential. But yeah it's that bad because they messed up the writing so bad they completely ruined it.
I'm kinda getting Murder in Kairoutei vibes a little bit. I hope it's similar. I know that drama wasn't really popular here but I loved it and ZXC is great in those kinds of roles. And he really seems to like that genre
they didn't edit out a lot, each ep is over 1 hour and he's more in the next episodes
Then idk what else could explain the editing in the first few episodes. They must have cut out lots and had to add in extra filler scenes to fill the episode.
I really don't get what they did here... I feel if everything with YAI hadn't happened this would have been a great drama. The direction is good and it had so much potential especially with that cast. They completely butchered it by editing so many YAI scenes out. The first 2 episodes honestly felt like a bunch of filler scenes, cut scenes, and side character scenes just strung together. Nothing even made sense. And they also made sure to publically lynch YAI too in the scenes they did leave in branding his character as a criminal who should be dead, that's not a coincidence. I'm not sure why they even released this.
On episode 2, and did they really kill off YAI's character by showing a picture of him bloody and shot and saying "nobody cares about a dead jailbreaker criminal"? I'm ok with spoilers I just want to know if this is really the path they chose, since if so they've completely ruined the show not to mention how fd up that is
First episode was so boring, directing, writing, acting, absolutely nothing stands out
The direction is good, this is a good director, he directed My Name and Extracurricular. I didn't think the first episode was boring at all. Also there are obviously some amazing actors here so maybe don't judge from 1 episode.
