So after rewatching the opening of episode 1, it seems pretty obvious that the man with the long hair in the prison is Ryang Eum (could be wrong, but that's strongly what it seemed like to me.) I wonder if he tries to sacrifice himself again for Jang Hyun

it's really really romantic, not cringe romantic, just perfect blend of suspense and agony mixed
They pointed out several times in ep. 5 that she's not really in love with him and only thinks she is, she really loves ML, she just doesn't realize it yet (her looking at him instead of sml when there was danger, her friend telling ml her feelings were not real for sml)

I think she's still supposed to be rough around the edges at this point. She starts out with an attitude problem especially when it comes to men chasing her and she will gradually grow through war.
