i think, in c-entertainment industry, billing means the salary or payment ranking of the stars in a drama. so first billing is probably that an actor / actress is the highest paid actor in a production.
like you know, the current big names as zhao zhan, cheng yi, and so on.

what do u mean deeper messegea this actually happened in real life
was this based on a real case, or do you just mean, generally , like rich people usually are ready to kill and sacrifice poor people for an extended life?
yeah all the three girls are kids. very very young kids. in neither legal system worldwide, i guess, they would be blamed. coz they are all very much underage. i am not sure, if anyone here remember that case 15 or 20 years ago or longer? in UK / Britain. two young boys, 5 and 6 years old, they "murdered" a 2 or 3 year old boy. they went into psychiatry for until they were 18, got an education there, and were released. supposedly , they should be knowing why they were guilty of "murder", but still...
if there is anyone to blame for the murder, is the american dad, and the greedy uncle. crazy father is well crazy. no legal system would convict him.
and well, while i see, that the story is somewhat more horrific than real horror movies, maybe on a certain level, i understand the american girl. who knows if i had a sister, and i want to save her, and the only way is to sacrifice another human being? phttt. i am no saint or angel. i am not sure, if at that age or now (i am 44 years old) i would be a "good moral enough" person to say "no", if killing one person would e.g. safe the life of my 73 yrs mother.
if it comes down, human nature is always selfish, greedy and egoistic.
anyway, didn't expect such a movie, but it was.. certainly thought provoking.
i remember Shanghai bund ... lovely drama ......wait the sub is google translate and i am regretting watching…
and its been one of the few dramas , over my forty years of watching dramas since childhood, where i did not mind the sad ending ;-D it was a very fitting ending for all involved parties...
Thanks for waiting on this analysis of TLP and its ending and why I believe it is framed to be a happy ending…
well i am an international fan, and i was in no rush to watch this while it was aired. now thats completed, i plan to check it out either this sunday, or next one. so thanks for your analysis, i am curious about it. i didnt have any expectations , since i didnt know any content of the novel or any rumours prior to the show, but then, i am usually not afraid of spoilers, coz i am not watching dramas for the surprise element, but rather for how well they execute everything else.
whenever i see the name Huang Xiao Ming , I am thinking of Shanghai Bund , the version of 2007! so question is, are the subs good enough already, or better wait?
if you dont need any martial art fights or so, Destined is just finished, and boy, did i get sucked in that drama.…
i am the most wrong person you could ever asked about this, sadly.
i just know the usual big names, but have never heard of bai jingting before, nor do I remember his face from any other drama.
so I will have to trust your word, if you said, he is popular or well liked amongst the locals.
i might be of Chinese ancestry, but that is like five times removed, or a hundred years ago (literally. my grandfathers were refugees from China to Vietnam a hundred years ago. they were sent to Vietnam, when they were kids and there was chaos in China, later fell in love with my grandmothers, married, and boom, there was the Vietnam war, and so they were refugees again. So, Germany took us in, in 1980. so, me, very much more or less, Chinese diaspora. Chinese genetic makeup, but I am afraid 80% German socialization. I don't even speak mandarin anymore, so even less idea what locals think or not think about their stars).
Liu Xue Yi is the eye-candy 🤣 at least for meThe war scene is beautifully done in this drama.
true enough, i liked him since Blood of youth! as far as his drama biography goes, he seems to have some sort of patent for evil villains role, that still garnered some pity from viewers.
he is in "fated general" damn, i wanted that drama before already like crazy, but now knowing him after blood of youth, I want fated general to be released SO MUCH!
quite to be honest, that seems to be the preferred "sob" of most if not half the villains.they had a sucky childhodd,…
lol, well i like untamed, coz its hard to beat that kind of pretty cast.
as for the plot... its actually gruesome. not just the villains had daddy / parents issues. as far as i remember, heroes, villains, and the rest in between, they ALL had crappy childhoods, and all the parents of all of them , sucked like hell. the entire adult generation was just fucked up.
Can anyone recommend new C-dramas besides Anle, Divine Destine, The Longest Promise that were released in early…
if you dont need any martial art fights or so, Destined is just finished, and boy, did i get sucked in that drama. it got no marketing, no advertising, there are no big names, or idols, but the plot moves on at a great pace, and the ending eps are VERY satiesfying.
like you know, the current big names as zhao zhan, cheng yi, and so on.

and seeing now that li hongyi is in this , after his great performance in blood of youth!
i want this more than ever!
