he basically has a very strong personality and aura.. and in case of romance, it is very difficult to say no to such people when they make you feel you are the world. Flip side is, they might move on very quickly from you as well

yes, i said pride is a big factor.. at this point it is physical attraction for everyone.. since SW knows JS won't respond, he moved on to D.. when D also did not respond, he evaluated and could come up with only SH as an option (for no other reason but because he is literally the only option and not youngest)... when SH as an option won't exist, he will move on to YH

preferances don't change.. there is always a common thread unless one undergoes a drastic personality change oneself.. and that rarely ever happens in real life..

listening to JS's stories, i don't think his preferences would have changed.. at this point, my only guess is that JS's type is a serious mature kind of a guy.. and not bubbly or someone who doesn't come across as a quiet confident reticent/mature person
