SW called two people, he did not get a positive response from those two people.. so other reasons or not, pride is definitely one of the reasons for him to call a 3rd person.

Now, it was a pinky ponky in terms of whom he calls - and he landed on SH because YH is too young and that leaves no one else.

SW literally said he is not happy about the phone calls he received (SH being one of them).. and neither is the guy interested in SH even after the date.. but he genuinely does not have any option other than SH .. so he is stuck

how do you go from CM to SH :O .. JS is either here with a focused agenda or actually there is no or.. cannot buy this head over heels for SH

unless ofcourse SH shows that his personality has some gravitas.. and mostly if he is a very very mature and thoughtful individual

that is the only common thread - CM is a serious kind of a person, and JS is also a no nonsense kind of person

He is being polite, don't confuse that with childish. And, on his dates, he is actively participating to make the experience happy for both parties.. otherwise many people will be sour mood in that situation.

I agree that SW is most curious and romantically attracted to JS. But, he has given up on that after day 2 and we know JS is not going to pay anyone any attention.

But yes, SW's behavior has been weird when it comes to JS. And, everything he does for SH is also so timed for JS to notice.. eg. noodle conversation, SW brought it up when JS-Sh raised it.. and i think SW will continue to pursue SH just out of curiosity to see why JS is so attracted to SH

the detective thinks wife killed but can't prove because she is a handicap

and then one day the wife offers him some home made snacks to eat.. then a few episodes later he visits the other lady and she also offers some snacks to eat..
