What is with the visual talent in this drama? Even the random swordsman (Ep 25+) is hot :D

I'm watching ep 25 now. This drama is addicting

Chang Ge's name essentially translates to "long song" / "long ballad". The "Xing" could be translated multiple ways but denotes a meaning of competence, like she "can". (Would want someone more fluent than I am to verify :))

I read the translated novel after watching the anime on Netflix and seems pretty true to novels, but the anime only covers book 1 of 5.

I'm going to have to watch on Duboku. There's no way I can let extra 6 episodes go unwatched :D

I'm watching on Viki too. Usually the subs take a while but for Long Ballad they are coming out fully subbed right away

I just saw a preview for ep 25 and it’s killing me that ep 19 isn’t even out yet. Going to be an interesting story arc I think and I’m excited for the drama to share more of Sun’s (ML) backstory now that we know so much about Chang Ge’s (FL)

Are they really planning to make a sequel even so many years later?? And Zhao Liying was so amazing as the lead I’m not sure I could be convinced by anyone else :x

Yes, I had postponed watching it because I didn't think I'd like it. and then once I started I was completely hooked.
