If you watched all the episodes, continue reading.I have a couple of questions that I missed and want a kind soul…
Hello ♡
If you want to know more details about this story, I reccomend reading the novel. I understood a lot of things in detail because of it :^) There are 5 chapters of the blind guy and candy guy's story.
LWJ's burn mark is also explained in the novel (I think) but
!! NOVEL SPOILERS!!
basically: when he realized WWX died, he got the emperors smile and became drunk. He saw the tool the Wen Clan used to imprint the burn mark and impulsively got an identical one to WWX's to remember him.
I am highly disappointed don't know why it is so appreciated i dropped it at 35th episode bcoz of following reason…
okay so basically, wei wuxian is highkey powerless without demonic cultivation (which he no longer excels a5 because he threw his flute down the cliff while falling off). he dies and gets reincarted into mo xuanyu (ep 1 and 2), the golden core he has in the present is mo xuanyu's, which is very weak.
The Black Devil and White Prince? Brings back memories! I first created my account to make a review for it. I'm super aware that many could enjoy this show but I wanted to give an opinion for those who may share the same preferences.
Ok, the wording...there's some that should be unpack here. Firstly, the story of the novel in which this drama…
You put more emphasis on "that" than the original commenter. Making a problem out of nothing.
You're implying that "that" meant "the novel". They could've meant "bromance", they simply didn't want to watch a bromance-centric show and that's okay because personal preference.
Why wei guy and lan guy use two names? I dont get it anymore. Is it a reincarnation thing? But how can they reincarnate…
As you watch the episodes, all of this will be explained. The first two episodes are meant to be confusing as it is in the present, I didn't understand a single thing. Treat episode 3 as the beginning.
--- If you want answers anyway:
They use two names not because of reincarnation. In Ancient China, a person has a common and courtesy name. The common name is more used while the birth name is more sacred.
Wei Wuxian (Common Name) - Wei Ying (Birth Name)
Lan Wangji (Common Name) - Lan Zhan (Birth Name)
This is common in Chinese historical dramas :^) They also have titles given by others, once proven their powers.
Lan Wangji - Hanguang-jun (Light-Bearing Lord
Wei Wuxian - Yiling Laozu (Yiling Patriach)
----
Wei Wuxian as a person was superior. He defected from his clan, he is alone. When it comes to clans, the strongest ones are JinLing (strongest in present), GusuLan, and YumengJiang.
Before he died, you can see him destroying a metal. That metal held what made him strong, so now he is pretty weak compared to the cultivators of strong clans. This will be explained in-depth throughout the story. --- If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

I am a WangXian enthusiast and love the novel to pieces.
If a drama is labeled and advertised as bromance, it is only normal for people that are unfamiliar to refer to it as that? Especially because it's the first tag? I don't think it's that deep ^^" Honestly, what's up with "drop the disguise?". The original comment does not say anything about the original work, most likely a person who saw the bromance tag and wanted to know about the plot. If the drama is labeled "boys love" or "gay character" and the comment refers to it as "bromance", that's when the real problem comes... not this.
I wrote that at 8am or something, I meant "drama series". This is a comment section, not a formal essay, I am allowed to make mistakes.

You can message me if you have any questions (esp if this is your first historical chinese drama)
I should probably warn that the first two episodes are super confusing but it'll start getting explained in episode 3. Hope you enjoy~
Excited to see more of his works!

The "drop the disguise" comes off as accusatory.
