Apparently, you need a VIP acc... The episodes will get available for everyone after a while but I found some links (although I didn't watch yet rip), I'll message you them.
人生若只如初见 is such a great BGM. (https://youtu.be/TbaclHz4KgY) Apparently, the title is from a poem and the modern title of it is "If time could stop at the moment we first met" or "If life is just a first sight." It played during the cliff and rain scene, peak devastation. The author used a lot of poems to create the sects too.
Up to episode 10 now, I'm thinking of dropping it. "Bromance" is mediocre compared to Guardian, the martial arts…
The story goes beyond bromance. I've never watched Guardian so I don't know how to compare. It does pick up a lot at episodes 15-16. A drama certainly can't please everyone, so it's normal to not be interested in the themes it offers but, as a person who loved what the later episodes offered, I say to hold on for a bit.
I have a bunch of questions...I’ve watched the drama twice now and I don’t understand how many pieces of the…
Here's my understanding of it (I haven't read the novel yet so I might be wrong) 1) Everyone believes there are four yin metals. Wen clan had one from the start, and later got one more from another clan. So 2 is in their possession early on.
Then, Wei Wuxian and Lan Zhan recovered the Yin Metal from the Cold Springs so Lan Zhan has 1 Yin Metal. However, when the Wen clan "broke his legs" (when Gusu got destroyed), his Yin Metal fell out of his hands. So Wen Clan now has 3.
The last one was with Xue Yang. However, he hid his while he was on a mission and disappeared so no one knew where it is. Everyone believed that WWX found Xue Yang and stole his Yin Metal, but that wasn't the case.
Wen Clan = 3, Xue Yang = 1
What people didn't know was that there was a very powerful metal, that held more significance than the separate Yin Metals. The sword that held the crying spirits that wanted revenge, it was what made the tortoise standing. Wen Chao found out that the tortoise was killed and knew that the sword was important (he still didn't know what it was).
Wei Wuxian, after being thrown into the burial mounds, used this sword to craft the Stygian Metal and his flute. It was incredibly powerful, even more than 3 Yin Metals put together.
---- 2) In the manhua I read, Wei Wuxian mentioned that 'tens of thousands play the flute, and the people that imitate him can form an entire sect'. Just like Jin Guangyao can learn the guqin and use its powers, Wei Ying can remember the music scores in any body (although it really isn't powerful as it was with the Stygian Metal, which is why LZ has to protect him and WWX says he's a "fragile, feeble man"). --- 3) Mo Xuanyu's golden core is so weak, that it's close to being nonexistent. A golden core can only be obtained by cultivation, which is why you become an ordinary person if you lose it. Mo Xuanyu only ever cultivated once before he was locked in (so it's reeeallly weak). He knew a bit of demonic cultivation though, that's how he summoned WWX. His family took away his weapons, so he used his blood to sacrifice himself. ---- 4) Mo Xuanyu was locked in since he was 12/13, no one knows what he looks like when he became an adult. WWX has the face he had in his previous life but people who never saw WWX before can easily think it's MX. He wears a mask whenever he's in danger of meeting a person who knew him in his previous life though (Lan Zhan, Jiang Cheng, Lan Qiren, etc.) After playing the tune on the leaf in episode 1, he was dragged out forcefully without his mask and was afraid the Gusu juniors would recognize him. -- @ everyone, feel free to correct me
So Wei Wu Xian can’t use his sword to fight anymore because he gave his golden core to Jiang Cheng, and now…
I deleted my previous reply bc I misread your question sorry ;__; Nobody knows about this until he comes back alive. But don't worry, the truth will be revealed. Jiang Cheng is a strong-willed man, he "would be deeply angered with himself for being so helpless and needing Wei Wuxian's help as his golden core". So Wei WuXian doesn't reveal this for the sake of Jiang Cheng's happiness.
Most of your questions get answered as you go on.He stayed in the Burial Mounds for 3 months to learn it (which…
Not Wen Ning. He's like an idol for many because he invented his own way of cultivation. When WWX was with his donkey in ep 2 (when the girl gave him the apple), you could see 2 men fighting about the Compass Of Evil, that's invented by WWX (you'll see how he made it later on). Later, you'll also see people pretend to be his disciples because of his power. Basically, even though many people condemn him for his "evil ways", they still use his creations and think highly of him.
I have a question....How WWX get the flute ? And when he learn the Demonic Cultivation ?It is when Wen Chao throw…
Most of your questions get answered as you go on. He stayed in the Burial Mounds for 3 months to learn it (which is why he went "missing"). The flute and stygian metal is the result of/crafted from the sword (you won't be seeing the sword again). He most likely got help from the spirits too but WWX is really crafty, his inventions earned him followers.
I gotta Q: anyone know the OFFICIAL Chinese rating on this show?...is it really as popular as i think or am I…
It's hard to connect ratings to popularity as it changes depending on the number of people that voted. If 2k people rated a movie and it has 8 stars, it's different from a 8 star movie rated by 400k people. It's a good look at the perception though, even if different demographics have different standards.
The Untamed has a 7.9 rating with 500k+ people voting. Seems like it's the most rated tv series of the summer in Douban (if that answers your popularity question). I'm not Chinese and am new to cdramas in general, so take it with salt.
Does anyone know when they will release the alternative ending which was posted on Tencent Facebook survey?
Apparently, they won't... They commented this the day they made the poll: "There is no different official endings. The ending already aired on WeTV. Welcome to download and watch it. We will have five give aways choosing from people who voted. Thank you for your participation."
Any ideas where to download high quality episodes of this drama without the logos? I know it's available on Youtube…
Is it for editing? If it is, I actually recorded how to do this but didn't upload it because my fps lagged. If you don't mind a crappy tutorial, I hope this can help: https://youtu.be/ENdvZ0bkPmk ♡
wow, the rating is so high.. is it that good ? is this drama have happy ending ? i dont mind spoiler..
Yes~ the ending is not tragic at all, the last shot is the main character smiling brightly. Some warnings: The first two episodes are really confusing... it's alright if you don't understand, just keep watching and you'll slowly get it. Treat episode 3 as the first episode. If you like exciting and emotional things, episode 14 is where it ~really~ picks up -- kinda the inciting incident for the whole story. But the previous episodes are interesting and really explains the characters and world/setting.
There's actually an audio drama, if you're interested in that.If not, I don't believe there is ):
No problem at all ♡ Just in case, I'll tell each definition. An audio drama is like a live action but only audio, so each character has a voice actor. An audio book is like a storyteller just reading the chapters for you :^)
