I know the viewers of this drama will mad to me but i still want to write my opinion.Frankly, i was disappoited…
There was more business less romance than I had anticipated. I am a bit disappointed in it too. Sometimes with C dramas the emphasis is waaay too heavily placed theme wise on the business side for me and I am in a bit of a don't carey place about protracted business shenanigans.
For those who think that this is the worst kdrama, you've definitely not seen "Oh My Ladylord" yet !
Yeah I agree, I like this drama - Oh my Ladylord was an abomination. About Time, Fluttering Warning, Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter, there are sooooo many worse dramas than Cheer Up.
I kind of want to be Jin Woo but I am betting on Jee Soo Oh, he has more screentime, he appeared to be in the audience in the real world at the start, also in the opening titles he comes up first and the there is a shot of them together in the titles so I think he is endgame.
Yeah I hated the handling of the dog segment - like it was a nothingness.
I am not sure. Online info says that animal lives are undervalued in Korea because of their low status according to the law. I certainly struggle with animal treatment in dramas, certainly Chinese ones where whey often manhandle cats like they are toys/dolls for their entertainment. In the Korean Drama Let's Eat 3 the lead male character cuts up and eats a live octopus and I just have to fast forward. In the Law Cafe - I thought well apparently no one really cared about that dog, it was just a plot point to move the story forward.
Just my opinion so hope ardent kpop stans don't bludgeon me xD But the last time a FL acting was this much off-putting…
I am not a k pop fan. I agree with you - I do really want her to succeed in this role for my own enjoyment of the show but overall her acting brings the drama down for me. There are a lot of really great idol actors and actresses but I don't think at this stage she is one of them. When I watched Tempted the lead actor had sooooo much more chemistry with Moon Ga Young who I think is a better actress. I don't really like to leave negative comments and I hope she improves. I am watching this for Cho Young Woo, fingers crossed he gets more lead roles.
I believe Netflix, I do not think they have ever officially confirmed a season two for them to then back out of it. I will be gutted if it was cancelled.
