Yes, I agree but I have European TV and world cinema for that. Personally that's not what I'm coming to k drama for.

Title My Mister
Would it be accurate for me to say that this drama is made for a more mature and older audience who has experienced…
I am older and I have no doubt it is a brilliant drama and is aimed at my age group but it was way too oppressive for me. I like k drama as an escape from the harsh realities of life, I don't want to see people living miserable existences even if it becomes redemptive and their circumstances are drastically improved by the end of the 16 episode run. I prefer something more life affirming like prison playbook. But yes, I don't think this drama is meant for ages 13-17.

K drama has always partly been about escapism for me and I don't know if this has been exacerbated by Corona times but 4 episodes in this drama feels too much like an exercise in misery for me - the crazed screaming antics of the aunt alone. I am not fond of seeing people kneeling or being humiliated or stalker stylee ex partners. I think I was hoping for something a bit more feelgood like When the Weather is Fine.......

Title Dinner Mate
I loved the start of this show but it has become less Dinner Mate as time has gone on and should now be called "our crazy ex partners". Too much focus on the ex relationships has made it more draggy and I am a bit gutted as I loved the leads, their chemistry, the writing and the show itself.

Blame the writer not the actress!
I meant to tag you, I just could have worded it better. I thought it was unfair to indicate you were a bully because of your opinion (which I agree with BTW, I think her acting is cringe worthy). You gave your opinion in a fair way.

It definitely seems extreme to say you are bullying someone!

Because it is neither fast paced, twist-filled makjang with a side of revenge or murder, nor sugar laden brainless…
I couldn't agree more, I think what you've said is spot on.

For me..i have been drama fan for 11years, so people who fan of Drama like me will see that this drama was Slow…
I have been a fan of k drama for many years and yet find it neither slow or draggy. I think its involving, interesting and far removed from basic makjang.

I kind of dislike Moon Soon Ho, I dunno. It seems like she never has a clue how to behave herself in front of…
I find her character in this a bit annoying and I think her acting lacks subtlety. I didn't realise it was the lead for King of Savvy, one of my least favourite female lead characters of all time coupled with acting which was way over the top.

Title Itaewon Class Spoiler
I can never hate Soo Ah. Like Saeroyi said “You just did everything you need to live a better life”. She is…
I believe she could have lived a worthwhile, productive, better life not working for the man responsible for covering up the death of his father and sending him to jail and who is now trying to destroy him. I can't think this was her only choice in life. His father supported her financially when he was alive and she has done nothing in
return. It feels like Sae Ro Yi is always accomodating her & apologising & trying to see her point of view. In episode 12 she whinged about how hard all this was for her. He has experienced real suffering, I think she falls really short as a worthwhile partner and person. It's a great show though and it's good we are all enjoying it so much and feel strongly about it ! Hope I don't offend you :)

Title When the Weather Is Fine Spoiler
I'm a huge fan of slow burn romance but this is not it because it is obvious that Im Eun Sub has been in love…
I agree he seems a bit one dimensional at present but at least it's early days and the focus for dramatic depth is firmly placed on her just now. As slow burn romance is a romance that focuses on a character-driven love story where that relationship takes some time to develop and is about the slow evolution of the relationship I think that could still apply here even if he has been in love with her for a long time - if nothing has really developed in terms of a relationship, it would be very slow burn and would be about what happens now. It is not like he just saw her, immediately fell in love or that they have been on and off dating for years. Fingers crossed it turns out to be a decent drama! :)

It is on Netflix in the UK but it comes out later on in the day so maybe you just checked too early in whatever country you are in :)

I think that Chung Myung really did love Man Wol. Maybe he originally approached Man Wol to trick her or maybe…
Yes, I was thinking along the same lines a) I am convinced that he did love her but was forced into the marriage to spare her life and b) how can Chang sung be a reincarnation when he looks nothing like either of the 2 men from the past.

One of the genres above is romance. Does anyone have any confirmation or conclusive info on this? I'd like to see Ji Sung in a drama with some level of romance (from him) but nothing on Soompi or the genre tags on Viki seem to indicate that it has any at all.

I am obviously in the minority but whilst enjoying all the respective lovelines I really appreciate the Park Morgan /Tammy one. It is not overt, I feel there is always chemistry and a simmering tension, I like the way it is playing out and I have never felt even the slightest inclination to skip past their scenes. Love this drama in its entirety, the dialogue, the cinematography, the acting and the way they have taken the normal gender roles in K drama and reversed them.

Title The Light in Your Eyes Spoiler
As many, I felt cheated when I realized young time-traveling HeyJa doesn't exist.After watching episode 11, I…
I agree that that it is awful to see children abandon their parents but drama aside in real life I don't think care centres can ONLY be considered for those individuals who have no relatives. My gran had dementia and needed a hoist to be put in a wheelchair or taken to the toilet, she needed round the clock care with trained staff who could manage the physical demands her health entailed in a room that was adapted to suit her disabilities- something both my parents who also needed to work were unable to provide. Many of the individuals I have seen in care homes are very much loved but their relatives are unable to provide the specialist care they need.
