This comment session is gold XD. I haven't even watched this drama yet but this comment session had me wheezing. First time i'm convinced that a drama is not worth my time due to MDL comment session lol.
Thank you everyone for your amazing comments, i come here everytime i'm depressed and need a little laugh (which is pretty much every day lol). Hang in there for all the soldiers who are committed into finishing this series.
I was honestly surprised how much this series have evolved. I rewatched season 1 to remember all the events and man, this one still hits different to me. I remember when it aired and i was left speechless with their chemistry and the high quality of it, even tho it was a short drama with low budget. The quality of the kisses was also something that really struck to me, specially since at the time we barely had any kisses on KBL's. Second season was way more than just a BL (for me at least), it was about people and relationships (be it in a romantic way or not). I would be lying if i didn't get a bit pissed at times, specially at both Kang Seo Joong and Ji Woo. But what was so great about this series was the fact that from an outsider point of view, you can really understand both sides of the party. I could babble on and on about this series and the impact this second season has, but i'll spare you all form it.
Decided to rewatch this one after more than 10 years, and oh man, I totally didn't remember the second movie was so depressing. I'm not a fan of the first movie, it was too chaotic for my taste and with a very weird sense of humor, but the sequels are quite enjoyable. The new actors gave more life to the characters and although the kissing scenes are very bland, the acting compensates for it. The story was nice and it's a very short length movie, so it's great to watch when you have nothing to do.
Loved this drama more than i expected!! Started watching it only because of Ji Chang Wook, but continued watching for all the rest. Plot was very interesting and captivating, i loved all the magic elements included onto the show and the musical aspect made it even more special and unique. First time watching a korean musical drama and it was a beautiful experience. The characters were very intriguing, specially the magician, loved JCW character so much and he did it so well (as always). My only complaint would be regarding the ending, which left a bit too much to desire, i wish we could see more of the other characters. Overall it was a really great watch, this drama gives you a somewhat sense of comfort while also keeping you on the edge of your seat.
A mediocre series, with mediocre plot and even more mediocre acting.
Well, this series was a complete disaster and a battle to finish, the only way i managed to get this done with was playing it in the background while painting my nails (got some sick designs out of it). The plot was promising, only on paper, but the atrocious script, lame lines and stiff acting weren't able to save this series. Had high expectations for the actors but they were nothing more than just pretty faces on a screen. I have some friends who really liked this series and i'm really glad they enjoyed it, cuz i clearly didn't. I had expectations that at least the story or characters would get more interesting, but no, they didn't. All of the characters were indecisive, didn't know anything, didn't talk stuff out, pretty much the whole plot in this series was resolved around "misunderstandings" and the characters not being able to decently talk about their feelings. Annoying characters with a very badly written script. I'm also still searching for the chemistry between the leads that everyone is talking about, but oh well, one day i guess.
But, aside from me not liking Star in my Mind, i'm looking forward to Sky in your Heart which from the trailer, seemed to have a more interesting plot.
Hmm it was alright for the most part, nothing grand, plot was good but the progression was quite slow. The acting was a bit stiff, but i'm blaming that on the script and not the actors. You could really feel how low budget this one was and that annoyed me a bit, but i'm always grateful for more KBL so i won't dwell into it too much. It was a boring series for me overall but it was sweet at the same time.
Cute little web drama that didn't feel cheap. I really enjoyed binging it in one sitting, even tho it's short, it has great character development and wrapped everything nicely. Lee Soo Hyuk as always was amazing. Hope to see more of him as a main role
I'm trying to like the series but it's not giving me the feels. Makes me smile but also some scenes make me cringe.…
I'm in the same boat as you. I'm trying to hard to enjoy it, but I'm just not feeling it ever since episode 1. There's some cute and cliché scenes but the overall story hasn't really caught my attention. I'll continue watching to see where it goes.
Very cute and light BL. It was a bit difficult for me to like it at first since it's kinda of inspired by Itazura na Kiss (and I loath that drama) and the acting was a bit stiff in the beginning, but it gets a lot better. I really enjoyed it for it's simplicity and not overly dramatic scenario and conflicts. The character development was also very visible even with the small number of episodes. The actors were adorable together and the acting got a lot more fluid and natural as the series progressed. Really enjoyed it, Korea is really stepping up their BL game and we are all in for that.
and we wont be getting one next week is what i heard😭😭😭😭😭
Apparently it's going be a holiday next week, hence why there won't be episode 3. But it seems they will air a special episode instead. No further information on it tho. I just know i'm gonna cry in a corner for 14 days
I think I've never obsessed so much over a BL while it was still ongoing. Such a torture having to wait a whole week for new episodes, my heart can't take it
Why is this series so underrated?? God, I loved it. It's really difficult for me to get invested in all of the couples that is presented in a BL, and You're my Sky managed to win my heart with that. All of the couples had unique stories and challenges that made me very engaged in their own way. I thought I was going to be put off by the sports theme at first, but somehow it was very entertaining and I was very interested into knowing what was going to happen next, be it in the romance or if they were going to win the next game. This series is very plot driven and does not present a lot of skinship moments tho, which somehow I wasn't bothered by and didn't find that it was lacking in any sense. It has long dialogues which some might find boring at times, but it wasn't the case for me. What it didn't have in kisses, it compensated in the engrossing story. It's very complete for what it is and it delivers the message it has to offer. I got very hooked in all of the couples and they were simply adorable.
The acting was amazing, considering it was the first main role for a lot of the guys and the chemistry was also really good.
As you watch, you'll start to notice that this series is heavily inspired by I Told Sunset About You. The quality of this show is beyond amazing, no wonder since it's from the same screenwriter as ITSAY. You can really feel the ITSAY vibes and inspiration in it, not only from the way it's shot and the usage of warm colors for the lighting, but also how the characters express themselves and even from the huge amount of sexual tension the characters and actors portrait with a single gaze.
Honestly, I highly recommend this series. Although it doesn't have those roller coaster of emotions moments as in ITSAY, it has a very healing atmosphere to it.
I enjoyed this series a lot actually but I do think it could have been better. The "finding Enchanté" plot was quite annoying and useless at times, but I had fun hating on Phupha every time he appeared. I liked the acting, it wasn't that bad in comparison to some other stuff I've watched and I could feel the chemistry between the leads. The ending wasn't the best, I'll agree with that, but i was satisfied with what we got. I didn't hate Theo as most people did, he was just a very naive and spoiled kid to me and I accepted that. Akk (Force) completely stole the show (and my heart) for me. I really liked the series overall, they tried something different and although it wasn't perfect, it was still an enjoyable and fun ride. Hope to see more of ForceBook in the future
Words can't describe how much I loved this series!! Felt my heart melting since the first episode. It was realistic and beautifully made, the acting was outstanding even tho it was their first time acting, and omg the chemistry, amazing. Loved how every scene fitted the atmosphere and complimented the story with the cinematography aspect. Loved all the characters (except the moms) and I loved how Jo Hyuk Joon (Da Woon) managed to show us micro-expressions about his characters feelings, it felt like a puzzle trying to figure out only by his face and eyes what his character was really thinking about. The pacing of the story was also really good, not rushed or draggy. Overall a perfect pack, it's such a healing drama. Now I'll go cry in a corner cuz I'm in desperate need of a second season.
I was really liking this drama until episode 10ish forward. It feels that after episode 10 everything was a filler of sorts. They completely forgot about the suspense plot and only focused on the romance. It was the prime example of a drama that didn't really know what genre it wanted to be. I really had a hard time trying to finish this drama since I got very disappointed with where the story went. I didn't really like the main couple, they were in their late 30's but they behaved like 15 year old's, it was quite embarrassing to watch them together. If they had focused more on the suspense aspect of the story and explained better Choi Jung Min and Ian Chase's story, it would have been way better for me
OMG u just said all of my points. I really lost 70%of my interest after watching episode 4. It felt they suddenly…
Exactly. It had such an unique story at first but then they somehow butchered it. I could have dealt with the bad story if the acting was at least decent, but it wasn't. I'm not gonna blame the actors cuz they obviously didn't know any better, it's much more the director or script developer person's fault. The editing and sequences of some scenes also felt very messy. Just like one of the reviews above said, it's the definition of a mediocre drama.
Well, this was quite bad. It had a very promising story but the delivery was awful. Acting was mediocre and there was no chemistry between them. The plot seemed to had lost it's way in episode 4 forward. Just kept watching it for the sake of it, but those 25 minutes never felt so long. This series is probably gonna get buried deep down my subconscious for me to never live this painful experience again.

(or his mom for that matter. That poor woman, I just want to hug her)
Wedding special when tho?
