I'm surprised at how much I enjoyed this drama. It felt real and the story was well executed. I was not a fan of Kazuaki tho. I feel like his excuse for behaving the way he did towards Sei was stupid. I was not so mad with Kaori. She did have a real problem with dealing with intercouse and that's very valid, but she could have talked with his partner about it way sooner.
Aside from it all, I really liked this drama. It does leave us thinking tho: was it cheating or not?
A bit too slow paced for my liking. The focus of the story wasn't really the love story, but more the character development of the ML. It was a cute watch, the ending caught me by surprise lol
I’ve had this in my list since Only Friends (that’s where I saw ForcexBook for the first time) but since I…
I just finished this BL and was ready to write a whole essay here on mdl how the people in the comments were so wrong about this show. Thank you for sparing me the time cuz you literally just described everything I had to say XD. This show was simply perfect from start to finish. I may be VERY biased towards Force since his debut, but this series just left me hooked since the first episode. The chemistry between the leads and their sweet moments was to die for. Just as you mentioned, both are such green flags and i loved how the wasn't that much useless drama to fill in the episodes. Yeah it did have some drama and some dark moments but it never dwelled for too long (which most asian shows do). They always communicated with each other and the misunderstandings never lasted more than two episodes. This series was definitely a 100/10 for me. It's a very silly show but it will heal your soul.
A truly magnificent movie. Hio and Ryohei made such a good pair, the acting was fenomenal and the story was really engrossing. I wasn't expecting such grafic scenes concerning the intercourse, but these boys absolutely nailed it. The movie felt so real and raw, no fantasy aspect nor useless comedic scenes. Heartbreaking and beautiful, I bawled my eyes out on those last minutes of the movie. The whole thing makes it even more sad due to the fact is based on a true story.
1000% agree on this one. I feel a bit bad for liking it so much and watching the whole thing more than once. The…
Yeah it's a movie that brings out sensitive topics so it's not easy to publicaly admit you enjoyed it. I watched it more than 2 times and I still think it's a solid movie
I had no idea what I was watching 99% of the time, but that 1% left was quite interesting. This movie is definitely more of an indie and artistic type of movie, not meant for everyone. The camera work for me personaly was really bad, I really don't know why they decided to go with that approach. The story was all over the place and very confusing at first (might also be due to the subs not being very accurate) but the little parts that I managed to make sense still made no sense lol. The characters were also very confusing and complicated to decipher, I wouldn't go as far as to say these characters loved each other, it was definitely a case of dogs licking each other's wounds and finding comfort in someone who went through the same things as you. I'm pretty sure this movie had a buch of deep symbolism to it but I'm too dumb to understand them, so I just went with the flow. I guess watch this one at your own risk, the acting is amazing but the confusing story and questionable production value makes me not want to recommend it. The OST was really good tho (if we take away the rap scenes).
How in the hell is this adapted from American Psycho?? The only similarity that both of them have is the slow burn for something relevant or interesting to happen in the story. Honestly, what even do i have to say about this drama? So bad, boring, filled with dumb characters and awful script and story telling. Some events were completely random and irrelevant for the overall plot, they mixed in A LOT of other's characters stories and didn't focus on the mains. The show was also very anticlimactic, although homie was a serial killer he just got on my nerves most of the times instead of inciting fear or any interesting emotion out of me. FL was also very annoying, she had a very irrelevant and badly written characteristics to her character which was very obvious that the writers didn't make a proper research before adding that in. The trailer was soooo promising but the series was a huge let down.
I really liked majority of the series, but some parts made be a bit annoyed. First off, i looooved all the actors, I was completely wipped for Neo (Khan) and Khaotung (Ayan) mainly. Khaotung has an amazing ability of making crying on screen so easily, his tears would flow so effortlessly and you could feel his passion while in character. Everyone had such great chemistry, I would melt in every little scene Akk and Ayan showed the smallest signals of interest in each other (don't even get me started on the kisses, cuz damn, those were high quality). But although I loved Ayan, I can't say the same thing for Akk. His character just felt annoying to me and what made me even more mad was the fact that in the entire show it felt like Ayan was the only one fighting for a relationship. I don't know, his character just annoyed me quite a bit but I absolutely love First (he won my heart in Not Me). I was also very invested in the secondary couple, but I think they did Louis (Thua) character too dirty on the last few episodes. Second, although the story was engrossing, it also felt a bit draggy, way too many episodes for an interesting reveal to happen. But yeah, although I had some complaints about some stuff in this series I enjoyed it for what it was.
Started binging this show and diferently from most people I was actually very invested on this series at the start. The first few episodes were very interesting and added a little bit of a supernatural effect which I was really enjoying. But the show started to get quite draggy and it seemed like their relationship was going nowhere. Those last episodes were quite hard to finish as I would start dozing off every few minutes. I liked the story and the characters (specially baby boy Amber) but the slow development between the main couple was killing me. But although their development was slow, the acting and chemistry between them were really good. It's a fun watch, I was creating quite a lot of theories regarding the plot and its mysteries.
This was actually such a good short series! Although you can notice the low budget, it has really great acting and amazing chemistry (something that sometimes lacks in high budget BL). The story was a bit confusing to catch up but you just roll with it, I wish the series was longer and the editing a bit better so that we could comprehend every aspect of the story. It was also very nice to see a scenario where although one partie involved had a mental disorder, there was consent between them. It was a lovely story with really great cast.
Just a side note: it might be something completely from my delusional head, but there's a yaoi/BL manga with a very similar plot to this show, called Kingyo no Ubugoe. It's a nice read but it definitely lingers on a more psychological side, so if that's not a style you like, avoid reading it.
It was an alright watch, the acting and production were really good, specially Lee Hyun Jun towards those final episodes, but I just wasn't that invested in the story. I guess the overly dramatic plot and scenes just wasn't for me. Too much crying, quite draggy and sometimes dumb decisions were made by the characters.
What a masterpiece!! I didn't have much expectations for this show since I didn't like Manner of Death (dang, didn't even finish it) but Triage was so different and beyond my expectations! The show was so good and I was so invested on the story and characters that I had completely forgotten it was a BL. I was hooked since episode 1 and although the BL aspect is very under the rug, the amazing story makes up for it. The actors were also amazing, I haven't seen them in anything else so I didn't know what to expect of them (I only knew Turbo, that dude always makes me crack). Everything was so nicely done and the production value was so high quality. Although I didn't finish MoD, comparing the episodes I have watched with this show, I would say they stepped up their game with this one. The BL aspect in MoD felt forced for me and happened too abruptly, but in Triage you could understand the circumstances of them falling in love. It's been a while since i was so pumped by a thai BL, it's been so long since I binged a TBL so fast, it was 2 days of pure obsession for this show. I will for sure miss this duo (although Tol was quite annoying on the first few episodes and most of the female characters were brats, I enjoyed it). This one is definitely a must watch, specially if you're looking for a more plot driven BL.
Meh, this was quite bad. Why do Korea still insist in making these BL's where clearly the actors feel uncomfortable to even hug each other? The story had potential but the atrocious acting combined with shallow characters completely destroyed this series. I think if they took into consideration how uncomfortable these actors were on screen and maybe hired people who were actually whilling to act on a BL, it maybe could have saved this show. In my opinion the webtoon is more worthy of anyone's time, just read it and skip this show.
I had high expectations for this show and they did not disappoint me (which is quite rare nowadays). The story was nothing original, it's a generic enemy to lovers plot, but the execution and the amazing cast with high quality acting made up for it. Yin and War had such good chemistry that all their scenes together seemed very natural. The characters had really good development and the drama didn't feel dragged, making the story quite fluid. They also didn't make the female character as annoying as I expected her to be. I think my only complaint regarding this show is the rating, in my opinion it doesn't really makes sense to tag this series as 18+ since they don't show anything revealing, they show pretty much just the bare minimum for any romance series. The kisses were very nice to watch I'll give them that, it wasn't the dead fish style of kiss, but I think they went to far as to tag this series as 18+. But oh well, what can I say, I was completely sold by War so I pleased just to see his adorable face on screen lol. I would totally recommend this show for people who are starting to watch BL, it definitely has some of the more common characteristics in Thai BL that we all love (but not the never ending engineering faculty scenario) that will make easy for people to comprehend what BL is all about.
Beautiful beautiful beautiful. My friend recommended me this one only by calling it "the zombie BL" and of course I was all in for that. I had a completely different plot in my mind before watching it, but I was not disappointed once I started it. This show although have a silly and fantasy premise (with the whole zombie acpect) it's actually quite sad and profound. The actors did such a great job and the plot was very immersive, everyone should go watch it (but prepare some tissues just in case)
It was an alright movie. The cast was amazing but I just didn't feel much depth concerning the characters. I also found myself not really paying attention to what was happening midway towards the end, the plot wasn't confusing but for me it just left too much to desire. What I actually liked is that the movie didn't deviate from it's theme, which was the sci-fi and action, it was enjoyable finally finding an action korean movie that didn't add irrelevant comedic moments. It was a 6 for me tho, it just lacked something which I can't really describe.
Aside from it all, I really liked this drama. It does leave us thinking tho: was it cheating or not?
