I haven't started this show yet , but I'M ALSO constantly thinking about it lmao
better to wait - i watched this by mistake, thinking it had completed & now keep checking the count down daily (as if that will make the days pass faster lol)...
idk why i was sure this had completed & i started binge watching... ugh now been waiting for what feels like ages & i am stuck.
but have to say (maybe) from ep 2 this felt like Cheese in the Trap & unlike there, cause of Seong Hyeon, Da On wont end up with a sociopath. well Seong Hyeon & Su Hyeon i hope (⊙_⊙;)
cause Jae Min is a scary character when u think about it, how he systematically isolated Da On, using others to manipulate him - even his own family. making sure he was the only person Da On could turn-too or rely on. little wonder Da On finally started to develop feelings. dude been, being groomed & brainwashed since he was a teen. & the sad part is that Da On feels so indebted to Jae Min when he finds out it will only break his heart. oh well 3 more days to go (plus minus)....
idk what others liked about this, the protagonist spent most of the time playing mute, with that wide eyed, open mouthed look & always with the heavy breathing - even when he did nothing but stand around. the acting was ok for newbies, the plot was the same - ok, nothing to write home about. the ending fit the plot, which was more staring then actual communicating. a once & done IMO.
idk what others liked about his movie - this was NOT my cup of tea & that is putting it lightly. the only thing i am thankful for, is that the young boy wasn't harmed in all the stupidity going on, if that happened my comment wouldn't be this mild - i would be fuming! this not scary or interesting. bummer cause i wanted to watch cause of Lee Min Ki, what a let down. on a whole this felt like a waste of time
personally i had no problem with the ending (if anything, think it leaves it open for a 2nd season - wishful thinking…
isn't he happy? i felt that as long as he is a prosecutor - going after the bad guys, he was happy. also this is why i wanted a 2nd season, so we will not only see him in action. but see him achieving his goals ( getting recognition etc...)
this was a chef's kiss... i didn't even know that a spinoff existed, but saw Seo Dong Jae (Lee Jun Hyuk) & just knew it was my favorite, shady prosecutor from Stranger. binge watched, this as good as the 1st season of Stranger - the plus here it's fun (as in really funny - & no this not a comedy). the only minus is that it was too short. but sooooo good - for sure, going on my rewatch list
Disappointed in the ending, everything else was great. Definitely a better watch than s2
personally i had no problem with the ending (if anything, think it leaves it open for a 2nd season - wishful thinking lol) but agree, that season 2 of Stranger was meeh
not really. there is enough info here, that u don't have to if u don't want to (also IMO Stranger season 2 is meeh. the 1st season is as good as this was).also big plus this just funnier 😁
i tend to read comments before i start a drama, alas this time i didnt think to check them out. this was a pain - got to ep 4 & mid ep, had enough of the submissive, unassertive FL. this supposed to be a comedy sadly i didn't find anything funny - frustrating & annoying yup - funny nothing. so dropped & Don't recommended !
started the 1st ep (stopped half way) & even though really wanna see more of Na In Woo as this character. his younger brother is such a sweet, introverted, sad character in comparison to his older brother & mother. that he doesn't deserver to take a fall (as a serial killer), just thinking about the poor guy waiting in jail, so his older brother can clear his name, is heart breaking to me. so will wait until i am in the right frame of mind, to watch something that will be emotionally charged 😅✋
lol i just drop by to make sure it was completed, cause i wanted to binge watch this 😅better luck next time…
yeah i donno about that, that's why/how i started; When the Stars Gossip & Love Scout -have reached the latest updated eps & they have yet to get completed lol so think i will wait on this one 😅but TY on the suggestion
must say the last ep was a let down (in the previous ep i felt like i would like that, that was a start of the plot), this ep left me feeling like it was a shoddy wrap-up job. artistic license was taken & there was NO logic in how everything was solved in a blink. the only reasoning used - this the end so we gotta solve all the problems, smooth all the hitches cause this the finale.
the only bit i enjoyed was Gae In finally having a heart to heart with her father & where Jin Ho shone a much needed light on Park Chul Han's faults, at how he mistreated his daughter cause of his wife's death & his own sorrow. other then this bit, everything else was a patch up job (an ugly & bad one at that).
Gae In deserved better then almost all of the character's here, but alas this the end & even in real life there needs to be a person (professional) willing to help someone as naïve & browbeaten as Gae In, to understand that she has been gaslit & brainwashed into believing she deserves to be taken advantage off, treated like an after thought & never really apologized too.
this didn't have a boring sec & i enjoyed it on a whole, but the only character's i liked were Gae In, Director Choi & even Chang Ryul grew on me. so this a one off
I am resisting watching it again too quickly to make the enjoyment more the second time around. But yes it's a…
lol thank u for adding to my watch list - think other the My Mister i have yet to watch the ones u mentioned. so thanks for the recommendation's about my list i will have to think about it (as been ages since i watched any that i really fell in-love with)... so gotta try & remember will get back to u if i find any note worthy ones
this pretty dark & i was hooked at the start, but maybe if dark isn't ur cup of tea u will get hooked after ep…
dark as in depressing lol i don't wanna spoil u, but lets say that the mains character's (well quite a bunch of character's here) got a lot of emotional baggage. even past trauma that's why IU's character is as she is. this starts off slow (or so some feel) & that's why i said it might take u more then a few eps to get hooked. either way when ur bored & have time, give it a go (●'◡'●) hope u enjoy it as much as i did
i really want to like it, it will give it another try again soon
this pretty dark & i was hooked at the start, but maybe if dark isn't ur cup of tea u will get hooked after ep 2-3. either way this seriously worth the watch - the plot & acting is phenomenal
even if this was slow-paced (as some put it) it wasn't boring, personally i didn't feel this was slow just very organic in it's development. given their ages, let alone the baggage each of the character's carried, is it a wonder it took a while for everything to get reveled, let alone sorted out? & it's natural pace was cause we not talking hormonal teens (or even young adults), filled with angst & volatile hormones, but adult - hurt & scard adults at that, who had lived a hurt filled life & were weary & guarded. in-spite of this i think the plot unfolded naturally & there was nothing dragged or illogical about how it flowed
let alone the pot branched off & wasn't just focused on the mains & the sadistic ex, there was more & i enjoy this immensely (even the open end).
this for sure going on my rewatch list, for cold rainy days when i want something mellow to snuggly up too & watch while sipping how coco
