I really enjoyed this gloomy drama but be warned, everyone is insane and has traumas, including the leads.
other then the ex & the stalker, i personally don't think everyone is " insane" as u put it. also given their ages & their past. i think it is fair to say most people have traumas (maybe not as severe as the mains) but most humans, at their age have life & suffered.... as the leads. so IMO it wasn't exaggerated. & personally (given their past trauma, their long ass toxic relationships & why they connected - the marriage contract) they needed to make a clear break & just be alone for awhile, before connecting again. to me it was an open ending, that was positive as it was clear they both loved each other & would find a way to end up together
just finished binge watching & it was fine for a one off. i didn't find this boring, but this pretty slow paced in-spite of the seemingly engaging plot. btw the plot could've been written better, especially the end which felt rushed & not logical considering what came before (or so it seemed to me). do i recommend this - idk, the acting was good (by everyone), the mains male leads were eye-candy. but that's about it....
the only character's i loved in this were the kids, they were fun & adorable. oh also got a soft spot for the SML lol, but other wise this was just OK
There is a dark kinda romance in it. A love that was not supposed to happen in between a revenge plan. You need…
ah... but they were both broken. as in he also suffered as a child (& in-spite all his money he wasn't free or that powerful considering his father & father-in-law), so as a broken person herself, it isn't surprising she fell in-love with him. as he fell for her (not cause of her looks or youth) but it was after seeing her hurting herself - as he realized she as broken a soul as him. so again i think this part was logical
There is a dark kinda romance in it. A love that was not supposed to happen in between a revenge plan. You need…
isn't that the point? usually older men fall for younger more attractive women??? with all that IS wrong with this drama, think this the only point i don't think they got wrong IMO
finished watching & have to say pleasantly surprised - idk why, thought i wouldn't like this. but really enjoyed the ride, liked all the character's (well other then the psycho & Hae Yi's ex) but on a whole, everyone grew on me. but Sun Ho, think he was my favorite character (him & the adorable Yong Il) & there was a part of me that was kinda bummed out that he didn't get his "happily ever after..." but the more i think about it - even though chapter 16 was the end of the show, it wasn't necessarily the end of the character's life - so i choose to see it as an open end for Sun Ho. who has a very doting mother that will do anything for him & he is living a pretty comfortable life. so no doubt he will find his "happily ever after" - even if we don't get to see it.
a petty side note: the cheering was whack - had to fast-forward huge chunks of it (maybe that was what made me avoid this for so long, as it kinda looked like it would be cringe...) but the plot itself was good.
Yo that dude he met was TRASH. Who tf just goes through someoneβs bag like that? And then googles what kind…
know this 3yrs late, but the younger dude is a paid hook-up. the description is misleading but from the dialogue (what Sung Pil says, about his moving around cause of work) u get that this not an average 1 night stand. & considering his profession, it's not unheard off, that he might go through a clients bag & wonder about medication (let alone freak out about HIV).
even a 1 night stand would freak, regardless of how illogical it was to catch the virus though a handshake or a kiss. when ur scared, logic goes out the window -
also if ur sick, u gotta inform ur potential partner before sex - condoms mean sh*t - so both guys were in the wrong IMHO
& what about what Hamas has been doing for decade's to the Palestinian's?!? when they use civilian's & children…
orphan's? yeah ur just plain hilarious - the lies r just mind boggling... but that is usually the case with people who have No idea what or who they r talking about. on the other hand just cause ur Muslim ur blind support is a given - yeah get it. hey why u not up in arms about the 2 million Afghan's being abused & forcibly deported from Pakistan? or the geocide taking place in Yemen..?!? there starving & dead children, women - innocents not moving ur bleedin heart?!? could add to this list of countries where Muslims r happily massacring other Muslim groups - but no one seems to care much.. hmmm wonder why - keep spewing ur false lies, there more then enough morons that blindly follow like sheep to the slaughter
Watching episode 3 is sooooooo difficult for me, knowing that's what satanic Isr@eli military doing to innocent…
& what about what Hamas has been doing for decade's to the Palestinian's?!? when they use civilian's & children as shields, then its fine cause it furthers the "cause"?!? keep ur lies & propaganda out of here !
didn't know if should even bother & write a comment cause talk about surreal, OMG this was a trip & yet am confused. did any of what i saw happen? or this just Vita reading Jan Wen & Xu Axing's online web comic π€·ββοΈ either way this Not(!) Horror - this psychological - maybe i need to rewatch this a couple of time to get all the nuances / clues i missed the 1st time around. or need to understand Taiwanese let alone know more about the culture, but as this depressing that wont be any day soon. β
do u need to watch the prequel to watch this?!??? cause i couldn't get past the 1st ep of that, as i really disliked the FL (not the actress, how the character was written) so doubt trying again i will last any longer....
lol, same π just reading them, still donno if i should.. what about u?
me too... but got stuck reading about all the controversyπ― trying to make heads and tails of what was going on - who is against whom n why. πforgot why i started reading the comments in the 1st place π€¦ββοΈ
Bravo - good on u for saying what needs to be said. i unlike the other commenter in this feed Don't think ur comment…
from my comment, where do u gather that i watched this?!? i for sure read SugaVirus's comment (like i read other's) n agreed with every word they wrote - thus my reply. guess what i didn't do - get into other commenter's comments n try to ridicule or chastise them, cause i didn't agree with their POV, weird right?!?
idk if the description was misleading or i read too much into it. what i know is that the mains aint the grand romance it has been painted out to be. if anything almost every other side plot is much more interesting, realistic n relatable. the side plots were more empathetic IMHO the character's much more interesting n engaging.
leaving the mains "relationship" aside, this was beyond good. the writers have done an outstanding job writing great character's that went from strength to strength, they showed so much development n growth as this BL progressed. all character's were fleshed out, i wanted more of them - i wanted the plot to focus on them.
whether it was Heart & Ming, both angsty teens each with his own burdens coming together not only to rely n help each other. seeing their budding love n the growth they made, where they grew more grounded, knowing what they want n how to achieve said goals, was a better romance then the mains π€·ββοΈ heck their interaction n stories with their families n how that was dealt with, was a better story then the mains "romance". same with poor baby Gaipa (the relationship between mother n son was beyond wholesome n heartwarming to watch) he could've turned into such a tragic character, dude kept getting knocked down by life until the very end - which (thankfully) was positive - a new beginning with Alan.
another character that was done dirty (IMHO) turning him into a needy bf, that can't get over his lover, won't accept they over n is latching on, refusing to let go. when he wasn't at fault (getting mixed signals from ugh...)
anyway disregarding the mains (which still don't get why their story was written so badly, cause sorry but from my POV Wen was attracted to Jim - it was lust not love) this was really good. the acting was stellar, really was blown away more then once by the actor's n actresses here. maybe sound shocked cause they weren't the mains (not saying that Mix & Earth bad actor's) but other's (i mentioned above) truly shined - really loved this cause of them π
thought i was the only one. he was Very annoying or rather his character was - that mona lisa smile came off more smug n disingenuous or maybe just me π just know wasn't buying what he was selling π€¦ββοΈ
It's interesting to me the people who scream at others "don't watch if you can't handle it!" "leave if you don't…
Bravo - good on u for saying what needs to be said. i unlike the other commenter in this feed Don't think ur comment stemmed from "upset", just a strong (good) conscience!
i find it as disgusting as u, that this type of material is produced π€·ββοΈ, but sadly this not new and usually we don't get a very clear declaration(warning) of what (how) the relationship is gonna start. usually u get the "blink drunk sex"π "forced conversion" that is R. and that has been a plot-point in so many Thai drama's - yet people eating it up; cause the actor's r good-looking, got great chemistry etc... heck even abuse is scoffed at cause it's "love" π n usually i am the odd one out (at least here the description gives u a heads-up) with the ones i mentioned there is none of that, an u r blindsided while watching π€¦ββοΈ
so thank u for being a voice of reason, even if u r the odd one out β
