the guy playing Jung Da On is Very beautiful. think he is the best looking among the girls, let alone the guys in this drama. he is like a picture, every time his face comes on screen, i just keep thinking, he is so pretty - from every angle.***********************************************************************************************************************************************there were a few cringe moments, but thankfully Ju Seong Hyeon's bubbly, cheerful personality made me laugh & i could get over the 2nd hand embarrassment. unlike Da On & Jae Min he doesn't take himself too seriously. the other 2 from what i have seen, walk around with a dark cloud hovering over them. maybe in Da On's case i can get it (considering his unrequited love & his family situation) but there is tension between them & it made me uncomfortable.*********************************************************************************************************************************************idk how the new guy Jae Min's ex fits in, but guess we will see as this unfolds. as is (if Da On decides to stop being a curmudgeon, maybe then he would be worthy of Seong Hyeon. cause i want someone that will add to Seong Hyeon's happiness, not bring him down. so lets hope Da On doesn't put him through the wringer...

bitter sweet ending. idk how i feel about it - like there is logic in Song I Heon moving on, when Kim Deuk Pal's soul is occupying his body. but him hanging around & then deciding to move on (& the reason why), just shows how he got broken & that is so depressingly sad IMO. **********************************************************************************************************************that's also why i kind don't agree with how he rushed to forgive Choi Se Kyung, that scene was needed more for Choi Se Kyung sake, then the victims. the fact Choi Se Kyung was suffering didn't justify him taking it out on someone that was worse off then him. so i personally still don't like Choi Se Kyung any better by the end. i am Very happy for him, that he has finally started standing up to his father - but that doesn't mean i forgive what he did to Song I Heon *********************************************************************************************************************************************also how Lee Mi Kyung was dealt with, was totally unsatisfying. i don't care that the gross chairman will drop her (or not). she actively made Song I Heon's & his mothers life a living hell. & by her getting tossed aside & a few mins of kneeling in embarrassment ,make's it ok?!? miss me with this sh*t.******************************************************************************************************************************************the best redemption arc was Hong Jae Min, who didn't disappoint me till the end. i would rather Song I Heon speak on his behalf, so he gets a lesser sentence. then the way it ended. cause if there was anyone that really turned a new page & repented it was him. **********************************************************************************************************************really enjoyed binge watching this & i will happily rewatch.

in spite of that sh*t-eating-grin, i trust in Hong Jae Min. gut feeling but i doubt someone that cleaned-up his act & house, plans on selling out the guy that has shown him kindness, even after he bullied him for over 2 yrs. hope i aint wrong.**********************************************************************************************************************************************also happy that Song I Heon's mother has finally sobered up. but i don't get why she happily took any medication Lee Mi Kyung gave her. she knew that she was her's mans new mistress - why trust her in ur house, let alone with ur mental health. don't get the logic behind that.also if Lee Mi Kyung is just one in a long line of women the Chairman has - why she has so much power or any of his women, let alone his only son & heir?!? considering he has never even bothered to check in on his son i am scratching my head behind the logic.*******************************************************************************************************************************************Choi Myung Hyun, Se Kyung's father is despicable. if he & Lee Mi Kyung join hands OMG they could destroy anyone. scary

what a sh*t show. but as there 2 more eps to go, i guess we needed a bit of drama for it to get cleared out, by the end. still annoys me to no end that, that witch with a B, Lee Mi Kyung is still not just walking free, but causing so much trouble, or rather adding fuel to the fire. *********************************************************************************************************************************************Choi Myung Hyun, Se Kyung's father is the worse kind of adult. leave what he is doing to his son - which is bad enough, but he is happily destroying another kids life just cause he is getting in the way of his "educating" his own son. ****************************Song I Heon told Choi Se Kyung that he's not at fault & that he needs to talk to his father. sorry, but no amount of talking is gonna change that man. the one at fault is the mother that is MIA, she knows who her husband is, yet she leaves her son to a man that is obsessively, controlling & he might not be physically abusive, but he for sure is mentally messing up his child. & if he keeps it up sooner or later Se Kyung will snap & do what he almost did at the end of the previous ep. *******************************************************************************************************************************************side note: said this before & will say this again. Kim Deuk Pal is acting his gangster self with everyone - which is great in handling the bad-guys & bullies. but when he switches back with OG Song I Heon, then what?!? Song I Heon is still his meek old self that can't stand-up for himself - then what?!? & even if he is a spectator to how Kim Deuk Pal is living his life, that doesn't mean he is changing & growing into him.

had a feeling Choi Se Kyung's father was gonna be bad-er news for Kim Deuk Pal, then the gangsters. & from what we have seen until now i got overbearing, not physically abusive. but i guess we will see that in the next ep. *******************************************************************************************************************************************either way this fun & funny.... just wish Lee Mi Kyung wasn't so evasive. how is she the chairman's secretary & no one knows where she's at. really weird.

i know Hong Jae Min is a shameless bully, but he is kinda cute & funny. but after abusing Song I Heon for over 2 yrs - one moment where he acts normal, doesn't wipe out their past history or the sh*t he did & still Choi Se Kyung's not growing on me. why he keep quite about Hong Jae Min until he confronted him on the balcony?!? what was he waiting for???***********************************************************************************************************************************************also i get Choi Se Kyung's father checking up on the people / friend's close to his son - especially after his son comes back home beaten. but why do i have a feeling he's gonna make Song I Heon's life worse?!??

still don't like Choi Se Kyung any better & Kim Deuk Pal always giving him the benefit of the doubt cause he sees him as a young kid is annoying to me. cause whatever he did to Song I Heon, his adding to his misery pushed him over the edge & if this was real life Song I Heon would be 6 feet under, literally. there would be no soul swap, with cute, funny, heart warming moments - with a redemption arc. **********************************************************************************************idk if Kim Deuk Pal knows what he is going on about, he is so sure that the sec he fixes everything that is wrong in Song I Heon's life, he will be back. maybe that is what the writer intends, idk... but then when he comes face to face with his gangster chorine's, then what happens when his soul moves on & Song I Heon is left facing them? ***********************************************************************************************************************************************the mother - must say in the previous ep she needed a good slap. grown ass woman taking out her anger on her child. was he the one that told her to open her legs, for an old fart that was married?? did he tell her "keep me", when she found out she was pregnant?!? where (am sure) she was already happily living like the kept woman of the rich, married man. but then it didn't bother her??? why???? then she was happy to put her life on hold, to sit around waiting for her sugar daddy?!??but the sec he lost interest in her & raising a baby/child was not entreating or titillating enough, she turns to drink & abuse of said child?!? & i gotta feel sorry for her, cause she the "mother"?!? plz **************************************************************ep 3 & what i see in every ep is the long list of people that put Song I Heon on that bridge. beyond sad!

this is fun & also sad - weird one sec i am laughing my ass off & the next i am infuriated at the injustice of it all. but have to say for someone that keeps saying that he is just gonna make Song I Heon life better, before he leaves. him telling the world - or rather all the bad-guys that he is Kim Deuk Pal. just endangers Song I Heon more. as he isn't Kim Deuk Pal - so when he gets back (if that even possible) his personality is the complete opposite, even if his body will be a fighting machine he wont know how to use it - ********************************************************************************************************************************************* also did the bullies target Song I Heon from the start cause of that b*tch Lee Mi Kyung, if so i really wish Kim Deuk Pal stepped on her & not just the sunglasses. *****************************************************************************************************************************************about Choi Se Kyung, i don't like him. the fact he is being abused is neither here nor there. i don't like how he i acting towards Song I Heon. there was a sec there that i thought he had a crush on Song I Heon & that was his secret (that he's gay) but now i don't know. will have to wait & see. but for now i don't trust or like him & wish Kim Deuk Pal would be this forgiving towards his actions just cause he sees him as a kid.

this was cute, reading the description this reminded me of the movie: The Dude in Me, which i loved. this kinda along the same lines, but not identical. here given the fact Kim Deuk Pal's body has been cremated i doubt he is getting back into his body. so that a bit sad, that the kid - Song I Heon passed away in despair & sadness, never getting a 2nd chance at a better life.*******************************************************************************************************************************************also like that this is a bit more realistic, as after a month or 2 of training Song I Heon turning into a adult that's been living a rough life, that has turned him hard mentally & physically, was a bit of a reach. so this was cute. even though who doesn't love seeing bullies get their asses handed too them. *****************************************************************************************************************************************btw poor Song I Heon he being neglected at home & also abused verbally by that secretary, his "father" is disgusting for neglecting his only son. & leaving them for her to manipulate & abuse just cause she got power - a direct result of his neglect. no wonder Song I Heon didn't have anyone to turn too & did what he did. kinda heart breaking when u think about it.

what an insecure, petty little man. here the Queen is always putting him before herself, even jumping in front of him when there is danger. she used her family, endangering their safety to put him on the throne & his 1st move, after finally achieving his goal is to humiliate her not once, but twice by again taking a maidservant that serves her closely. *********************************idk what she can do to get back at him, without endangering herself/her position. but i know that he will go for her family 1st, as they - her power. she is a very smart woman & i can't wait to see how she asserts dominance, not just over her b*tch of a husband, but over the rest of the court. **********************************************************************************************************************************************Yeong Sil seems like a pushover that won't cause too much trouble (even though with Gyoha Daek Yeong Sil's relative) u never know. but Chae Ryeong is conniving & am 90% sure she knew exactly what she was doing & got what she wanted. so she will be one that will do anything to dethrone the Queen. ********************************************************************************************************************************************this a really good 1st ep - already hooked. wont say i didn't miss a lot of the ascensions and abdications let alone all the other additional info that was getting pushed, when i was trying to focus on the dialogue. but the main plot was clear, the rest will come with time & reading the comment section lol

seriously what a way to end a drama, guess they were always planning a 2nd season, so get why all the lose ends & yet not satisfying at all. *****************************************************************************************************************the fact the rat is alive & kicking - infuriating! same with So Yi - she cares so much for Seo Yul, but just gave him the medication, what happens when it's over? why not tell him, u got a blood-sucking-worm in u - but nah....***********************************************************************************************************************************************& sorry but i don't give a sh*t about Park Dang Gu & Jin Cho Yeon, so having to sit through their mindless love plot was headache inducing. i so hope they go on a long honeymoon in the 2nd season. alas that wont be the case, as Mu Deok murdered her father & all that crap - ugh!********************************************************************************************************************************************also bummer the Crown Prince couldn't hold out & had to turn moronic, but i get he was motivated more out of jealousy & the fantasy that if the rat "takes care" of Jang Uk, he could have Mu Deok. jokes on him - wonder how he is feeling now seeing what has unfolded. & if he still believes anything coming out of the rats mouth, then he is beyond stupid / redemption.********************************************************************************************************************************************side note: i know that in the 2nd season the main FL is Naksu / Cho Yeong & not Mu Deok / Jin Bu Yeon - which personally i think is a pity. i guess one can spin it as Jang Uk is in-love with Naksu & not Mu Deok. but i will miss Jung So Min as i love her acting.

well am glad Jang Gang that came clean (even if it was Master Lee's request) he did the right thing.but i doubt he is Jin Bu Yeon's biological father, it didn't seem so when Jin Ho Kyung was begging Jang Gang to save her unborn child. if he was the father, she would've made the plea more personal, so Jin Woo Tak was wrong about his assumptions. also if i am wrong, it would make Jang Uk & Mu Deok ending up together kinda gross, as they would be blood siblings.***********************************************************************************************************************************************about the Crown prince, i wanna believe it is a mislead (as he does have a crush on Mu Deok) but personally the sec he stepped (alone) into the secret room, was worried that if he attacked the rat in any way, Jin Mu could use the alchemy of the souls to shift his soul into the Crown princes body & then kill him, when he moved into Jin Mu's body. then no more problem. at least this way he is buying time - i hope. as i have grown to like the crown prince & don't want him turning evil, at the end. *********************************************************************************************************************************************side note: what happened to the girl i loved to detest, So Yi(?) & more importantly, what happened to the blood-feeder-worm that she transferred into Seo Yul?!!!!????? was it removed? will he be ok?!? one last ep, so hope all lose ends will get tied up.

Seo Yul taking pity on So Yi made me roll my eyes, here she will sacrifice anyone (but the guy she got a crush on) if that means, she can walk away unscathed. but joke's on her, considering what the "queen" & her pet rat r planning. was wondering why did they not just blind her (considering the lengths they went through; with the birth mark & scar). but the sec i got that the "queen" is moving into her, it made sense - once she moves into So Yi's body she will also have the ice-stone & more power then Jin Ho Kyung (with the backing of the rat) to destroy all the mages, let alone the 4 families involved.***********************************************************************************************************************************************btw the more we know about Jang Gang, the more of a moron he seems to be. dude is a waste of space. why he came back idk. he couldn't destroy the rats power, but he had no mercy for a baby?!? & the f*cker keeps saying his wife cheated - that was r*ape, one that he cause of his stupidity enabled!!! so he needs to f*cken stop blaming her - the bleedin moron!********************************************************************************************************************************************also Naksu is annoying me, how can she not give a f*cl about the soul of the person she's occupying?!? she now knows more about Mu Deok/Jin Bu Yeon, yet her acting like she in a flesh-suit, that she can easily discarded has me more infuriated then her being ready to kill everyone locked up in that place. if that is the case then am sorry but Master Lee got the right idea about destroying her. at the very least it would free Mu Deok/Jin Bu Yeon to move on. then be trapped in eternal limbo as she seems to be.

i genuinely just wanna curse - a LOT. the so called masters here r one worse then the other & they also very greedy. but what frustrates me, is that whenever Mu Deok is left all alone, something or the other happens to her. yet Jang Uk doesn't learn. but i can't fault him - even though him standing around giving the Crown Prince a personal explanation about the song, was frustrating to watch while knowing that Mu Deok was losing her life on the other end. *****************************************************************************************************************************************also why the f*ck did Jang Gang come back, if he is Not gonna be of any use?!? same with Master Lee what is the point of this character?!? this was beyond frustrating to watch.*******************************************************************************************************************************************btw how many more times is Mu Deok gonna get killed? no seriously - like WTF.
Was this review helpful to you?
cause of their power, the heads of the 4 families r so sure that their sh*t doesn't stink, they can't be dupes or played, can't make a mistake. & that is how we have gotten to this point. *******************************************************************************Jang Gang's sure he knows best & playing with something forbidden wouldn't backfire - yet he hurt the ones that were near & dear to him the most, then instead of sticking around & making sure they were safe he legged it, the 1st chance he got just handicapping his son. instead of making sure he wasn't vulnerable to anyone that would take advantage of his innocence & vulnerability.**********************************************************************************************************************************************Jin Ho Kyung so hell bent of finding her eldest daughter, she can't see what is before her eyes & is letting a rat borrow his way into her house quite literally. brining the destruction of everything she is, by her own hands.******************************************************************************************************************************************Park Jin no better, as an elder he should know more of the world, know that he doesn't take in & teach disciples for the fun of it. but to give guidance & help younger mages follow the right path & know how to safeguard themselves against the evils of the world. yet he only cares about the image of the place he is running. not about the students. if he did, he wouldn't treat Jang Uk as he has. ******************************************************************************************************************************************the only reason the bad-guys r getting away with murder, literally - is cause the good guys r too full of themselves, too proud to be humble enough to convers with each other, let alone speak candidly. also the one with the most power Master Lee should be there in a time where so much is going wrong & so many innocent r being hurt. yet he rather run away to train - what is the point of all that training, when the ones with the least experience will find themselves all alone in the fight?!?
