Sorry this reply is so long, you don't really have to read it if you don't feel like it Lol.

Ah I understand what your referring to with Da Bin, but I personally don't find it so unbelievable for her to walk out of her mothers' recital; She cried she wanted to stay and watch because her dad threatened to send her home if she didn't behave, she left the recital because even though she was excited at first, no one was paying attention to her and children get bored easily, she ran around the venue looking for something fun to do (I've done that more times than I can remember as a kid), and finding the kidnaper in that specific location isn't necessary, he could've have - in other versions where Ae Ri didn't stop him - found Da Bin at any other spot in the venue and called out to her. As for the restaurant, it's also very plausible that she would have gotten up and again wandered around looking for something fun to do, I would say ordering food and paying for it probably took him around 3 minutes (and I've had my baby niece who's crawling around disappear on me to the other room in less than 30 seconds).

As for the text messages, in my opinion it's easier for the human mind to believe Ae Ri faked the messages rather than believe in some time traveling text messages and phone calls, the police officers didn't experience these messages in real time like she did, they read them after the fact. From their perspective, those 2-3 messages about the lottery and other incidents from the news could easily be missed in the whole bunch of other craziness that was being sent about kidnappings and murder that didn't happen. Plus she was so out of it about taking the fall for attempted kidnapping that she literally acted crazy so who would bother to continue listening to her?

About Kim Seo Jin being a dick; It's clear to us Ae Ri means no harm but not to him. All he see's is this woman who kept coming around him spewing nonsense, actually shows up where she shouldn't be holding his daughter, why in the world wouldn't he think this crazy woman is trying to kidnap his daughter? I don't remember her telling him anything so personal about himself that couldn't be taken as a general statement of someone trying to manipulate him.

You have to have one corrupt cop on your team, if not how would any K-drama that has anything to do with the police function? It really isn't just K-dramas, it's all dramas with cops, Lol.

I couldn't agree less about this drama it's plot and characters, I think it's extremely well made. Kim Seo Jin is actually the only character in the show that shows character development - He starts of as this closed off, cold and meticulous corporate executive with a hint of past trauma and in one timeline develops rather quickly through the circumstances to a bereaved, desperate father and husband who is ready to do anything and everything to get back his wife and child, and in the other timeline develops a more soft approach towards his loved ones out of fear of losing them, but is still a outwardly cold to strangers, while simultaneously coming to terms with his past trauma. I don't see him as arrogant in any of the timelines, even in the beginning, yes he's cold and unemotional but I don't feel that he's arrogant and condescending...

As for Kang Hyun Chae, she's made out to be somewhat of a psychopath as she is a pathological liar, exhibits manipulative behavior, is very egocentric and has a grandiose sense of self-worth. That might be an easy out that the writers took for themselves, making their villain a psychopath, but these people also exist in the world. I believe her actual motives for trying to destroy her husband/kill him, hasn't been revealed fully, other than wanting him out of her life, wanting his money and using her lover to get that. But I can't say the actress doesn't do a good job portraying a villain.

Unlike you I find this drama to be very realistic, especially the human element, particularly for Kim Seo Jin & Han Ae Ri their desperation and struggle to keep it together is beyond believable in my opinion.

But then again, everybody likes something different -
To each his own \(^▽^)/

I just started watching episode 10, and I'll just have to say I couldn't care less about Mr. SIMPs' quest to save his psycho b-word lover ┐( ̄ヮ ̄)┌

But if it saves Da Bin, then FINE.

This drama is a complete mess and I am sure that the writer loves the sound of his own voice in the shower.

How's the romance? Who's paired up with who?
More suspense, not much romance - mostly an illicit affair between the wife and the husbands' right hand man...

I think the most important thing to keep in mind is there is one month between the past and future. When Seo Jin…
I'll add to that, they give you the exact date on the bottom left whenever they switch scenes from the present to the past.

This drama started really well but the last episodes have been f*cked up..Almost everything doesn't make any sense…
I don't understand in what scenes did Da Bin disappear without a reason?

They can't believe the text messages because most of the things that are written there didn't end up happening in that timeline because Han Ae Ri kept changing the past - like how Da Bin wasn't kidnaped, her father didn't end up thinking she was murdered, Ae Ri's mom wasn't murdered and so on. Plus they had clear reasoning as to why not believe what Ae Ri was saying - Kim Seo Jin only got the new number a day before the attempted kidnapping, and they couldn't find a trace of those messages on his phone, and he had no idea what Ae Ri was talking about. So the police came to a reasonable conclusion that she faked everything herself.

Not all the detectives are corrupt, only the one that gave Seo Do Gyun the text messages for money.

Obsession happens, and Seo Do Gyun's obsession makes him a pathetic human being who deserves whatever is coming his way :)

I want to point out how, although So Jin is rather aloof, he is caught up in an abusive marriage. His wife constantly…
Don't forget she made up her entire background, and then blamed him for her doing that by claiming "You wanted this" meaning he wanted her to be his trophy wife...

fuck the wife... If she wants to be with another man just file for a divorce instead of cheating.... every time…
Lol, I support this comment! The wife is clearly a psycho, she's literally out to destroy her husband and what for? Not paying her enough attention? And her lover is clearly Lord of all SIMPS, I just find him more and more pathetic as I watch. Every time I watch the wife' scenes I wanna reach through the screen and strangle her myself. Seeing her dead in the morgue was the happiest I've felt looking at her face.

I'm truly baffled! Is something wrong with this sites' rating system or is something wrong with the people who are rating this drama so low? How did it drop half a point in one day?

This drama is absolutely incredible, even if this concept isn't new, it's done in such a refreshing way that you can't help putting this drama up above with the best dramas of this year and the best dramas of this genre! The directing, story, acting and cinematography are out of this world. It's the only drama I've watched this year that is so well written even the plot-holes you think are there, are cleared up in the next scene, the next half of the episode or the next episode. One of the few dramas that actually keeps me hooked to the screen, sobbing in the first few episodes, biting my nails in the next ones and wanting to reach in and strangle a character in these last episodes. Never being able to even guess what's going to happen next.

This drama deserves way more than this lame "it's not an epic drama" rating.

I feel really really reeaally sorry for the sister! But man, they are beyond freaking adorable together, I can't help smiling at their interactions (*/▽\*)

Edit: I wrote this, then made the mistake of scrolling through the comment section, Lol. Obviously nobody likes cheating, cheaters or being cheated, but it happens, and honestly the portrayal of how things sparked off between these two and how they fell into a world of their own is pretty realistic, so I don't think anyone can fault the series for being spot on.

We found out Mando was in love with his girlfriend's brother from the 2nd episode, so the cheating part didn't come as this big shock right? So if you can't stand watching a person cheat in a fictional series why not drop the series then before you watch something you don't like...

Is it me or Ki Bum's acting is so extra and over the top? I saw a lot of people saying he was amazing in this…
It all comes down to a matter of taste and preference. In my opinion and looking at the bigger picture, Lee Dong Wook and Kim Bum are literally playing the exact same character, only one is considered the "good guy" and the other is the "bad guy". I don't think their acting is over the top, it's spot on and very entertaining.
