so did Buyeon really died then when Mama Jin killed Mudeok for experiment? Buyeon did not wake when Naksu was being controlled by JinMu, whenever something /threat comes to her body she wakes up, does this only meant, she died during the experiment and her ghost was the one talking to Naksu in the ice stone realm

They better have a really good explanation on how Naksu will get back to her old body because season 2 has only 10 episodes.

More than anything, I’m afraid of Master Lee, he did warn Uk regarding Naksu drawing out her sword again hopefully he isn’t the twist final antagonist, once Park Jin get a hold of knowledge that Mudeok is Naksu, there will be too many enemies for our girl.

is Lady Jin planning on putting an end to Soi’s act to potentially ask her to use ice stone to bring back Mudeok??? but of course we know it’s not going according to plan with that revelation at the end.

Oh I know of that, I know exactly what Naksu was planning, but no one knows she’s able to use ice stone if they use it to bring her back to dead.

I too for longest thought another ice stone reside inside Buyeon but according to conversation of Lady Jin & JinMu, Jang Gang took the ice stone where Lady Jin had no idea where he concealed it, which is why she does not trust Songrim mage inside Jinyowon.

Therefore we can only conclude something, ice stone was not used the way it was with Eunuch Kim.

if ice stone was taken out, and that person dies without ice stone inside, how are they able to take out the ice stone from baby Buyeon without her dying?

from Lady Jin and JinMu’s conversation, Jang Gang took the ice stone with him after Lady Jin permitted the use of it to bring back Buyeon, so like what exactly is the right use of ice stone? does it have to stay inside the person? it’s just so confusing and we only have 3 remaining episodes.

Ice Stone needs to go inside the person’s body in order to bring back dead alive (happens to Eunuch Kim).

Naksu seems to know of this, she is willing to sacrifice her life in order to take Ice Stone. They found her harmless as Mudeok since she is an ordinary person who won’t be able to use the power of ice stone even if it’s inside her, but of course it won’t be the scenario. Naksu will be able to obtain the power of ice stone and is able to unleashed her powers, maybe along with Buyeon’s.

One thing I’m sure of now is that Buyeon was definitely sleeping inside her body while letting Naksu take full control, meaning she isn’t aware of anything happening to Naksu though they share body. The only time Buyeon would wake and able to take in charge of her own body was whenever it’s in danger of dying ie (Master Lee about to kill her, Eunuch Kim about to take her energy, and now Lady Jin killing her). I believe she resides in a realm of alchemy of souls as to everyone in vanity, she can interfere like what she did with Jang Uk.

Looking at the preview, Lady Jin seems to have used the ice stone to bring back Mudeok (she might have confirm to herself she is Buyeon but won’t reveal about it). Naksu fleeing after the ice stone was used to bring her back. This is the tricky part to me, there are two souls inside the body, will it bring back both souls? There seems to be a barrier made that only soul shifter can weild sword, idk what’s the purpose of this? to kill students of Jjeonjingak?? since soul shifters are JinMu’s people?

I feel like Master Lee is bluffing at the end only because both Heo Yeom and Park Jin recognizes him immediately after seeing him, he probably did not want to reveal he is Hwansu level or he is trying to catch the Queen’s reaction.

Master Lee had already said, Jang Uk is different from Master Seo Gyeong. Master had hinted Jang Uk that the letter was a love letter, the man is in love, he is able to read because he is in love, all other have read it too though they do not read it as love letter.

He fell in love with Mudeok because she is Naksu, he could careless who the previous owner of the body, all he knows that it is now Naksu’s body therefore no matter who the body is, it doesn’t matter, it’s the soul.

Do not look at this in a pov of a viewer, we see this character as attach to the actors, but that’s not what the story wanted to tell, look at it in the pov of the character, Jang Uk sees Mudeok as Naksu period.

How come you can accept that Yul can love Naksu even though she’s in different body but you cannot put your head around the same concept about Jang Uk, it’s not a trick question, and no I’m not offended, I’m marely confused and buffled since Yul stands just love to push the narrative that it’s Yul that love Naksu fully, and yes that’s what you are implying.

Jang Uk loves Naksu, clear as day, he had no idea of Jin Buyeon/Orig.Mudeok existance and have 0 conversation with her, so how did you come to question which he loves?

He calls her Mudeok out of habit, it’s just a name just like Naksu is just an alias, whatever you call somebody doesn’t matter, what matter is that he knows who is he addressing and Naksu knows exactly that it was always her that he address to.

Master Lee really becoming my favorite character, he sees everything in a manner that holds deeper meaning than what’s on the surface, and him freely teaching Uk because he genuinely believes he will be a great mage. And I love when he corrected Park Jin that even though Master Seo Gyeong and Jang Uk are both born with King’s star, they are not the same, not because Uk was born out of sorcery, but just because they are different person.

A big contrast of Naksu’s treatment to Crown Prince and Yul vs Jang Uk.

Naksu delibarately lies in order to give peace of mind to Yul that Danghanyok is comfortable place even in winter. Naksu also only compliments Crown Prince and lies through her teeth most of the time she talks with him. Naksu would show both what they wanted to see or hear.

But with Jang Uk, she is free to say what she wants to say, she would hold her tongue to keep her feelings but doesn’t lie to him, she would even slipped out her true feeling here and there without her noticing, when she had confessed how it would devastate her if she were to suck the life of him, she unknowingly showed her feelings. Ultimately, Naksu never shy aways from telling Jang Uk her full story, her hardship, because she knows Jang Uk doesn’t see her as this meek, weak person, Jang Uk sees her as this great master.

Yul only sees this pitiful girl from his childhood, he only sees that girl from the past and how she become someone who borrows someone’s body, he just feels sorry for her everytime and feels responsible for her. Idk exactly what he is planning, but taking her away will not help her in anyway, and as long as he thinks the same way as Park Jin, he will eventually would make a choice to kill her.

Here is my take on that, which why I said they only see Black and White. When a person isn’t willing to change their perspective, that’s when I see how they only see Black and White, and right now both Park Jin and Yul are on that spectrum. They are not willing to see another side, they aren’t willing to see someone else perspective and take those into consideration which is why they are those type who see one linear perspective and only get to see the surface not within.

Park Jin and Seo Yul sees everything in black and white, they don’t see the grey area. It’s just either right or wrong, they go by what written in the book, they see the surface not what’s beneath. Park Jin was not even able to see how Seo Gyeong’s letter was a love letter.

Master Lee and Jang Uk are alike. They see more than the surface, they see the intention, the emotions, they see the real person.

Jang Uk has argued with Park Jin that for him regular magic and sorcery was the same and it’s the intention that needs to be looked at. Master Lee spared Naksu’s life after sensing she has no malice and has great power within, for master it isn’t about how much power, it’s the purity of it.

When Seo Yul has mentioned how they are protecting the world for monsters, he just see them as that, but Jang Uk sees that monster needs to be protected from the world as well.

Park Jin had crucify Jang Uk for his father’s deed because he was product of sorcery, but is not at fault for his father’s sin yet he was being punished for it.

I love LJW & JSM, and honestly devastated when I heard she won’t be on season 2 becauae I love their chemistry, but that was my point above, we see this character attached to the artist not character as they are to the stories, which not how the story was intended.

I understand feeling pity towards a character, but ultimately we still don’t know anything of her enough to start stanning and even rooting for her and Uk esp rooting for their ship, they have one moment and Uk was just confused and he sees her as Naksu

It’s extremely confusing how so many people confuses which person Jang Uk loves, it’s so crytal clear by now that he clearly love Naksu. Uk doesn’t care about the original soul residing inside Mudeok’s body, boy doesn’t even have any idea that she is inside still, for him Naksu now owns that body and he would do everything he can to stop her from perishing.

The show had made it abundant clear that we are to follow the soul residing into the body not the body itself. The soul = the person, the body was nothing but a shell.

Look into the perspective of the characters not your perspective as a viewer, as a viewer we get attached to the acting/performance of the artist therefore we cannot detach them, but look as it as the individual characters, their point of view.

When Naksu thought Jang Uk & Gilju has switch souls, she had thought Jang Uk died along with Gilju’s body (as Gilju was already dying at that time) she saw Jang Uk body and immediately charge at him, you know why? she isn’t seeing Jang Uk, she is seeing Gilju even when it’s Jang Uk’s body, she’s about to kill him at that time. She’s about to kill Jang Uk body and she does not care because for her that’s Gilju inside.

Yul still love Naksu even though she is now inside Mudeok’s body.

So how? how are we still questioning who Jang Uk’s love between Naksu and Mudeok/Jin Buyeon? why is this even a question at this point? if Naksu left Mudeok’s body, he would follow where her soul goes. Again Jang Uk does not know about Mudeok therefore he is only falling in love with Naksu, we can create a whole mess of love line but there is one thing clear here, Jang Uk loves Naksu, and Naksu feels the same way.

If there is one thing we should worry about right now is how our main couple would face all the hardles. Everything and everyone is about to rip them apart. That is something we should focus on not the whole non-sense Jang Uk loves Mudeok/Jin Buyeon when this does not exist. Jin Buyeon is nothing but a bystander seeing Jang Uk & Naksu develops feelings to each other.

It even confuses me how some people are already so in love with Jin Buyeon’s character when we have no idea what kind of person she is, yes we can predict she is kind but like her personality? man it’s like falling in love with only seeing their face, so shallow.

Sometimes it’s so easy to forget that Naksu used to be a an assasin detached from people. They way she was so caught off guard that Jang Uk was able to interpret her letter as originally how she intend it was a realization to herself.

Separation can usually just bring out two emotions from people. 1. You realize how much you wanted to be with that person. 2. You realize that you actually didn’t need the person in your life.

Naksu and Uk initial reaction was longing. Naksu’s anger in the rain while threatening Uk to kill him if he abdoned her was not coming from someone who only need the person to get her powers back, it’s coming from someone who felt like she won’t be able to see Uk and is deparately clinging to a fact that he will not easily leave her behind.

Naksu’s constant train of thought are of Uk, she ran when she heard a young master was there to see her and dissapointed it wasn’t Uk, she ran again desperate to see him even for a glimse. These actions of her just comes naturaly and based on emotions, which is why when she is clear headed she called herself fooslish for her act.

Naksu has very linear goal, she just wanted her powers back, she didn’t thought of forming an attachment. I’m excited to see her be upfront about her feelings.
