Not only we have Mudeok/Naksu harem - Jang Uk, Seo Yul, Crown Prince.

We seem to be getting a Jang Uk harem soon as well - Naksu, Heo Yun Ok, Cho yeon, and maybe Orig.Mudeok.

Also it seems like they are cooking up some Park Jin - Kim Do Ju - Master Lee love triangle as well.

And we get the mess of Danggu -> Choyeon -> Uk.

Are we not getting a single ship with no other people involved and just two character in love? Hong Sisters and their love for crazy mess of love lines.

But there’s only one thing I needed Hong Sister to do, this is to please do not follow the example of Mr. Queen and Oh My Ghostess. Like I’m begging them at this point to not ruin the whole foundation of relationship they had written for Uk & Naksu.

We can all argue about technicalities, but Jang Uk is falling or have fallen for Naksu, and Naksu alone. She was the one that shared moments with him. Orig.Mudeok could have see all these events, but she is just another third party just overlooking at the shared bond of Jang Uk and Naksu.

Remember the mirror? the mirror could reflect the image of Mudeok and have memories of Naksu, BUT she can never replicate the way she act, her personalities, likes, dislikes etc.

So no, Orig.Mudeok can be inside for all I care but it doesn’t mean that Jang Uk had fell for her as well.

I’m still sticking to my theory that Mudeok is just a vessel of Ice Stone. All relics have their own conciousness, some can move, some can talk, some can do both, so the possibility of Mudeok being just the Ice Stone still stand.

it’s because of the initial ratings when everyone just either petty hate or bandwagon hate, those were still accounted for this is why it isn’t going up all the way to 9 or more than that, unless we get more people to come here and rate on MDL

I was with my brother watching the show and he was like ahh this is like a game, they are making him choose,
Sejukwon = Mastering medicine & healing
Jinyowon = Mastering spells
Songrim = Mastering swordsmanship
(I have no idea what they actually teach in Cheonbugwan)

He went straight to Mudeok and asked which one to choose, and I was like yall still think she’s just a maid?? lol

a big NO for me, Jang Uk fell in love with Naksu, it doesn’t matter who the body is it’s the person inside that he shared moments with. This is why I cannot ship Naksu to Yul or Crown Prince. She barely had moments with these two. During chilhood, she was with Yul for like a day or two, the only info Yul has was that her father used to read stars. There was no childhood lovers lol and crown prince? like she had labeled him “just anyone”

Jang Uk had already fell for Naksu, if they put Mudeok (Orignal) in the mix of him falling for her it will ruin his character.

If it rains, you can use the rain. It didn’t come from him but he can use it. Just like they can use any weapon of choice in the battle, I’m sure they can even use whatever object in the area as well. Blood is blood, either it came from mudeok or it from himself, the technique was still done by Jang Uk, so no it is not cheating in my book.

I mean the duel was said it will only end if one was dead but they end it even when crown prince was about to get annihilated by Uk, but it was somehow ok to watch Uk die, but we aren’t calling this out.

Queen has Ice Stone
Relics says Blind girl is Ice Stone.
So what really happen to Ice Stone? did it split in half? I mean something so indestructable? Master Seo Gyeong definitely did not destroy it because it is indestructable right?

Mudeok might be the Ice Stone itself which is why she gets sucked it into the soul switch realm whenever she is in the vacinity. Also Naksu is not running wild because again mudeok is Ice stone or atleast has the ice stone inside her.

And you know what? Master Lee knows, when the news of Uk fell victim of soul switch, he was like nahh it won’t happen, because he knows Mudeok is there to prevent it! Master Lee has sense the Ice Stone, it was the blue aura coming out of Mudeok/Naksu

I personally see the grey area here, no helping or no interefering rule could be about a person physically helping in fight, or a person using a spell to save on of them, but blood was an like water. If crown prince can manifest a water to help his sword, then it’s fine to use blood to use Tansu.

I mean I would have understand if he called Mudeok helping him with blood would be cheating, but like “who is your master?”I’m like so confused like what? why does it matter? lol

Jin Mu calling out cheating and here I thought it was because Mudeok gave him a blood to use for Tansu, but he was like who is your master? I was just dumbfounded like why is this even called cheating? like who cares who the master is? you already put a condition of him losing Gwanju title if he did not show up, it was also cheating if somehow Songrim master had helped him trained???

I feel like Mudeok is Ice Stone or have Ice Stone which is why if she is in vacinity of the soul switch, she get’s suck in to the realm.

I woke up with my mind filled with this show lol this is a sign of me that I’m too deep on this.

If the soul switch between Jang Uk and Gilju was sucessful (which looks like it), the only chance we have to have it switch back was for Master Lee to switch them back since he is Hwansu level.

Park Jin mentioned, one can do soul switch without mastering Hwansu was to use soul ejector.

If I remember correctly, Jang Gang manifest a soul ejector out of water on his palm. Does that mean he is Hwansu level? but you know who else did? Naksu, she did the same, and even tried to attempt to do it again when she was inside Mudeok, but Naksu is only Chisu level???

What if Jang Gang created a spell to produced your own soul ejector? When he is inside the previous King, he had to ask Jin Mu to get soul ejector because he is weak.

The king has mentioned “I heard you develop a spell” what if Jang Gang is responsible for these soul ejectors? Jang Gang is definitely not the good guy we thought he was, even from the opening scene, he seems to be responsible of the soul shifters running around, he has mentioned he will get in trouble for performing soul shift illegally. Idk too much in my brain, I gotta release them lol.

One can be kindhearted and badass. Naksu is an assassin. She kills only because she was told and because of revenge, I’m actually not into this kind of badass character. We all have different moral compass but killing just because was just not a good trait for a protagonist and I’m glad for character development.

if Naksu’s dad was soul shift, there are two scenarios. One his soul was transferred to another body, or Two he was transferred to another body then the person that took his body had absorb his soul. There was no mentioned of her Dad soul being found on someone and died.

Jin Mu had implied to Park Jin, he wouldn’t like his answer to who soul shift Naksu’s dad therefore it highly possible it’s Jang Gang because Jang Gang has been a good guy in Park Jin’s eyes, they were friends. Jin Mu saying “don’t ask question you wouldn’t want to hear the answer” indicates someone he thought was a good guy, his friend, actually did something terrible.

I have said it before and I will say it again, the progress of relationship of Jang Uk and Naksu/Mudeok was just so beautiful.

That flashback scene from when Jang Uk recalling their memories together and saying heartfelt message to Mudeok was such a chef kiss. From their first meet, enemy-like master/servant, putting each other’s life in the line for each other, to now master/pupil with promise of taking her to the top of the tree, their affection blooming slowly.

Jang Uk stated “He finally has a way out, but how will I manage without him” I bet you thought of that and felt lost. She did not correct him.

“But now you’re not here, I feel lost. Mudeok, I miss you” In front of the Mirror of Longing! yall she break out because of his words.

I just want to say this, THIS IS MY SHIP.

Mudeok/Naksu recorgnized everyone by their voices but recognized Jang Uk by his touch!! I cannot- ok I gotta calm my heart.

I love the development of Naksu as well, she has always been someone who will do something that benefits her. Herself always is her priority, but we starts to see her care, we start to see Jang Uk having effects on her, and I love that, that is such an important factor, because they can all love Mudeok/Naksu, but the question here who is able to crack her, who is the one that will eventually gives her warmth, love.

That little moment of Egg-shaped jade. It shows so much how she felt warm about it because it is. She had told such an important part of her, her loneliness, to Jang Uk and saying how the egg on top of the tree made her warm now giving her something that symbolizes it. I love it.

Jeongjingak is the academy inside Songrim. So I’m guessing at this point, she just ment by Songrim mage was someone who already graduated therefore offical Songrim mage?

Seo Yul is not SEO family mage. He was a student of Park Jin along with Park Danggu. Songrim is a place for the most powerful mage. It is not a family name.

If were are going for last name then Park Jin is not songrim mage.

WHAT A CLIFFHANGER… I am stunned I stared at my screen for idk how long.

Okay so we got some answers already in this episode, and more discoveries.

- Naksu’s dad was soul shift and run wild the day Naksu had witness his “father” ‘s death. (Where is Naksu’s dad soul? we don’t know yet)

Jang Gang possibly responsible to shifting Cho Chung (Naksu’s father) soul.

Counts of people knows about Jang Uk birth with King’s Star.

- Jang Gang
- Park Jin
- Jin Mu
- Naksu’s Dad
- The Queen (possible)

Counts of people that knows Mudeok is Naksu.

- Jang Uk
- Seo Yul
- Kil Joo (Jin Mu’s right hand man)

Ice Stone is the most powerful thing.

Ice Stone produces the soul ejectors.

Soul Ejectors could do 3 things OR there are 3 kinds of soul ejectors (I’m not entire sure if it can do three things or there are three different kind):
- Bring back dead to life by summoning back their souls.
- Shift souls from one body to another
- Expel the soul of the living and steal their energy. (does this means those that run wild must need a soul ejector to “feed” ??)

Master Seo Gyeong - founder of songrim ; man who ended the long battle. (Master Lee’s master)

Jinyowon = secret room with all the relics made from Ice Stone, and only Jin family can open.

Master Seo Gyeong was the maker of these relics. Master Seo Gyeong sealed the Ice Stone.

Someone has to be Hwansu level in order to shift soul without Ice Stone or Soul Ejectors.

Master Lee is Hwansu level. He was able to put Gwigu into a dog’s body.

Jang Gang is not Hwansu level, he had to use soul ejector when he switched body with the King. Now the question is how did Jang Gang get his hands on these soul ejectors?

Someone is reproducing these soul ejector. How? more to find out. Jin Mu is not the final boss. Someone powerful behind is cooking up something.

The moment Naksu tried to break the glass after Jang Uk’s heartwarm message. According to the relic talk,

Blind Girl(Mudeok) = Ice Stone.

“She is here” “It is her, the blind girl!” “It is the ice stone!”

Two things I can only come up about this.
1. Jin Buyeon swallowed the stone and is keeping the stone inside her body or someone put it inside her body and she then become Mudeok.
2. Mudeok is a vessel. Just like how the dog was just a vessel to Gwigu. Ice Stone used Mudeok’s body as a vessel therefore Mudeok is the Ice Stone itself or Ice Stone transform itself (or someone did) into a blind girl. There’s no soul inside Mudeok so when Naksu transported herself into Mudeok’s body, she isn’t running wild because there was no soul inside the body to begin with and the Ice stone is protecting her from running wild.

My Theory is Master Seo Gyeong sealed the Ice Stone into the blind girl who did the rain ritual. She could be from Jin family, who then pass it down to Buyeon, who is also blind which now called Mudeok (Mudeok translate to Maid), or she had put the Ice Stone into a dead blind girl. (something like Master Lee putting Gwigu into a dog’s body), so when Naksu is performing soul swift, it attracts the Ice Stone who is a vessel and needed a soul inside.

Jinyowon opened because of two possible things.
1. Mudeok is Jin Buyeon
2. Mudeok is the Ice Stone
or both. One for sure the ice stone is Mudeok or inside Mudeok therefore Naksu as well.

Jang Uk being born with King’s Star, does not have to mean he is a royal. It could be because he is reincarnation of Master Seo Gyeong or the next Master Seo Gyeong.

One of songrim mage went to Jinyowon and did something that made Jin Ho Kyung (mother) not trust them.

Seo Yul is not Songrim mage??? I’m confused at this info.

Jin family takes after the women (wife/mother) surname, this is why Crown Prince called Jang Uk, “Jin Uk” since he will be marry to the Jin family. Cho yeon will not carry his name, he will carry hers, if they did marry.

Jin family is the most powerful one out of four families, considering the fact that were the one keeping the relics made from ice stone, they were also given plaque to deny any Royalty’s command.

My brain exploded watching this episode lol

what I found surprisingly hilarious was the fact that Yul loses sense of direction when he is surprise lol he has such a calm demeanor that I laugh so hard with this interesting addition to his character

Honestly for me, it will only be love triangle if the girl cannot freakin figure out who she loves which is why I hate them. Naksu/Mudeok doesn’t seem like someone who wouldn’t know who she love so hoping it won’t go there.
